I used Ergo before and now that my daughter is 2 bigla ayaw sa pram mas prefer karga. I searched and I read okay daw ang Tula for toddlers. Anyone here using Tula? 😊

Currently using toddler Tula. Ok naman sya, comfy for my 20month old. Compared to standard Tula, the panel is higher and it's really wide. Ergo is generally smaller than a standard Tula, kaya mas matagal usually na nagagamit ang standard Tula vs Ergo. My daughter outgrew her Ergo at 1 year old. She outgrew the standard Tula at around 17 months.

If you want, perhaps you can rent one muna so you can try before buying one. Sayang din naman kasi kung bibili ka na then ayaw naman ni baby magpa-carry dun.

How much is Boba Air? And saan makakabili nito?

If i recall correctly, Boba Air is around php3600 at Babyland. That was last year. Not sure if me price increase recently.

Hi Mommies!

What SSC would you recommend na magagamit namin both ni hubby? We currently own a SaYa VTB but I figured only I can use it and sa first few months lang. Sobrang gusto ko magbaby-wear ng matagal, and I think managing investment if we buy nalang a good SSC that we can both use. Hubby is a Large-XL built tapos ako petite lang.

bumili kami ni wife ko ng ERGOBABY carrier, upon testing sa shop ok naman si baby, kaso paguwi sa bahay ayaw na nya. may mali kaya sa pagwear ko kay baby?. naiyak kasi sya. sana hindi masayang yung pagbili namin, medyo pricey pa naman yung ergo.

Been researching for days regarding baby carriers. Hilong-hilo na ako. Can't decide kung K'Tan breeze or Lillebaby airflow ang bibilin ko. Parang sa height ko kasi na 4'10 mas ok ang k'tan kaso hindi naman magagamit ng ibang nag-aalaga kay baby unlike yung lillebaby.

May sling ako pero twice ko lang nagamit, ayaw ni baby at di rin ako comfortable kasi adjust pa. hehe. tamad mode lang.

^^^ SSC is a nice option lalo if you'll be sharing the carrier with others, kasi very flexible sa sizing. Most of them can fit up to 50" waist pa nga e. Good brands are Tula, Ergo, Moby, Boba, Lillebaby, Lennylamb at marami pang iba. Just make sure you buy from authorized sellers, especially for Ergo, to make sure na authentic.

^^ sanayan lang yan. Just keep on wearing baby pag good mood (busog, etc), then konting sayaw-sayaw, bounce-bounce. Or kausapin si baby while worn. Eventually makakasanayan nya din yan.

^ K'Tan and other stretchy wraps are great especially for smaller babies. Downside lang talaga is hindi one size fits all ang K'Tan or SaYa (its local equivalent), and important na tama ang size na mabili. Meitais, ring slings, woven wraps and SSCs are flexible in terms of sizing so if you plan on sharing carriers with other wearers (hubby, grandparents, yaya, etc).

What's the recommended carrier/wrap na ok sa weather natin? You know mag susummer na. I have an Infantino Meitai and mainit siya so dapat sa a/c place kami.

Ang mahal pala ng Tula.  I used a ring sling for my first born, a hands me down from my brother.

^ meron pa mas mahal, pero ang ganda. Madame Googoo custom SSCs! Hehe.. Tsaka yung mga wrap-conversions ng Tula, pricey din.

After backreading, mas lalo ako naconfuse on what carrier to buy, haha. I really like the cloth ones (k'tan/saya) I feel like it's cozier and less mainit but when i told my husband about it medyo di sya comfortable sa ganung babywearing especially for himself. Mas gusto nya the soft structured ones like ergo.

I plan to start babywearing when my LO is 2-3 months na para may head control na (i'm 28 wks pregnant right now). So pag saya-type ang carrier baka saglit ko lang magamit.

For me naman, i wish i babywore earlier (at 1mo). Kasi my baby is quite big so sana it saved me from a lot of backaches and ngawit. Lol.

At 3mos im not so sold to using saYa anymore. Kasi nga malaki at mabigat na sya. We're using ergo now.  NA, nasayang naman yung binili naming insert dahil when he was much younger naman, we preferred the saYa more.

Simang, same situation tayo. my cousin gave me a SaYa SSK (semi-stretch knit) carrier, so sabi ko sa husband ko wag na muna kami bumili kasi baka ok naman na yung SaYa kay baby. wait muna namin mapanganak si baby at matesting kung anung ok. approaching 32nd week na ako.

then, after researching online, gusto ko na yung Moby Wrap sana kung sakaling dumating yung time na hindi na kasya sa SaYa si baby. kaso last weekend during my prenatal checkup, may nakita ang husband ko na soft structured carrier (SSC). pinicturan pa niya at pinakita sa akin. tinanong pa niya yung parent kung magkano. nagandahan daw siya. tapos kahapon sa mall, tuwing may nakikitang SSC tinuturo tapos sasabihin niya, maganda yung carrier na gamit nila (other parents).

^fathers are more inclined talaga to use SSCs than wraps. Ok na din kasi snap here and there adjust, tapos na. unlike slings/wraps na medyo mas mabusisi. 

But based on experience, regardless if ssc or wrap yan, tayo (wives) pa din ang mag aayos para sa kanila. sila tatayo lang, tapos nanay na ang magpoporma ng carrier and baby.  Ilan ang kakilala ko na ganito din silang mag asawa. hehe

My husband also doesn't want to use a wrap. Hehe. Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't be able to use the Baby K'tan I got kasi pang size ko yun. I only got it to help calm the baby down and so I can do chores around the house. For short pasyal outside, ok na yung wrap. But for longer lakads, we use the stroller more kasi naiinitan ako sa wrap plus ang dami pang buhat buhat na bag, then diaper bag, nakakangawit din.

I chose the Baby K'tan kasi ok sya for newborns, no need for infant insert. Tsaka easier and less mabusis than other wraps like Moby. Meron din syang Breeze and Active variant supposedly for better thermal control, unlike other wraps na made of other material. Downside is, size is made to fit the wearer so unless magka size kayo ng husband mo, di nya masusuot yun. Also, pag malaki na yung baby, like 15lbs, di na masyado ok yung wrap. So bili nanaman ng bago.

For SSC, type ko yung Lillebaby kasi di gano mainit. Next is Tula.

Siguro depende din sa comfort ni baby. My nieces and nephews saglit lang sila nagcarrier. Siguro come 4 or 5 months stroller na palagi pag lumalabas. Ako kasi I want to babywear as much as I can kaya gusto ko sana ng carrier na magagamit nya hanggang probably toddler stage.

Ive always wanted an SSC. Kaso ang mahal, ayaw ni hubs.  For now, Ill settle on my Mei tai however hassle magtali-tali and di ko kayang mag back carry alone.  Ill just enjoy browsing and magwatch sa mga SSCs online.

hi sis, how much bili mo sa toddler tula mo? and saan? refer mo naman ako sis, until now, at 30 months, naka-ergo pa rin kami ng baby ko, comfy pa rin naman siya, pero talagang sumasakit na likod ko, hindi ko alam kung bumibigat na siya, or hindi na bagay samin ang ergo at this stage.

question sa mga  babywearing and breastfeeding sis, what carrier ang easy to breastfeed in? i have a SaYa kaso hindi ko kaya magbreastfeed in it, masyado kasi masikip. im planning on buying another carrier na madaling makapagbreastfeed on the go, any recommendations?
