How is your carrier so far? I didnt use a carrier sa panganay ko but Im thinking to get one this time. I dont know yet which one to buy.

LO is 1 month na medyo heavy na siya nakakangalay na siya buhatin.anong advisable na carrier? i am looking at baby pouches up to ilang months puedeng gamitin? nakita ko rin sa isang dealsite yung chicco carrier ok din ba yun? which is the best? thanks

My first carrier was a sling pouch and nagamit ko lang sya until about 4mos si baby. Di kasi ako comfortable sa legs out position ni baby using the pouch, feeling ko hindi secure ang pagkaka-wear ko. So I bought SaYa and meitai, instead. The SaYa and pouch, kelangan tama ang size na mabili mo (depends sa size ng magsusuot na adult). For meitai, ring slings and SSCs (Ergo, Tula, etc) naman, no sizing needed so mas flexible, pwede gamitin ng halos lahat.

^ naku sis, it is a matter of personal preference talaga.. and very wide ang price range. madami local and international brands.. sa local, you may check out Bahaghari or Izzy Breezy, etc for starters.

^^ if woven wrap, i'm not sure kung saan may physical store. Mostly online/FB ang alam ko e.. if member ka ng Babywearing Philippines, minsan me mga meet-ups, pwede ka magjoin para maka-try ka ng iba-ibang carriers, including SSCs and wraps.

If stretchy wrap, i think merong Moby Wrap sa Babyland..

Ive been wanting to buy IAngel carrier for weeks now kaso when I consulted hubby, the price is too much daw. I tried explaining the comfort and security of having a reliable carrier especially when we go out. Ayaw pa din.. extravagant daw. Planning to buy on my own kaso Im sure he will feel disrespected if I buy kasi nga umayaw na siya. Siya na daw bahala magkarga k baby or stroller na lang. huhuhu

^ sis, how old is your baby? There are other cheaper options naman ng recommended carriers e.. also note that hipseat carriers like iAngel are not recommended by most babywearing groups esp for smaller kids kasi they tend to put pressure/weight on baby's spine..

really sis?! My baby's 5 mo old plang. Any recommended brand na not so expensive yet reliable and does better support? I actually have a ring sling (bought 5 yrs ago for my panganay) but I never got used to it. Feeling ko, magsslide cya.

  - mei tai; Lellibubb and Nanay at Ako on FB, range 1000-1500
  - woven wraps; lots of sellers on FB din; local brands price range 2k-3k
  - if you prefer SSCs (buckle carriers), cheaper recommended brands are Boba, Moby, etc; price range 3k-5k

Sali ka sa Babywearing Philippines (yung closed group) sa FB, madami tips and ideas dun (even DIY, pwede). Meron dun FSOT (for sale or trade) album, meron preloved and even brand-new recommended carriers.

Hi, new mom here. I wanna buy a baby carrier na ergo but its so pricey. My baby is 4months old at  8.3kg na . Ok ba yung chicco or picolo sa kanya? Anybody using Snugly or Infantino? Looney Tunes? Sesame Beginnings? Yan kasi ang mga di masyado mahal... Wanted somethig na hindi hassle gamitin. One that I can manage to strap alone and fit my  baby easily without help.

^ sis, sa pagkakaalam ko, yung Chicco e narrow-based (yung naka-dangle ang legs) so di sya recommended kasi after a while e nagiging uncomfy for baby and sa nagki-carry.. yung Piccolo mei tai naman, ok sana pero 12lbs lang yata ang weight limit so lampas na si baby mo..

Yung mga Looney Tunes, etc most of them are narrow-based also + hindi safety-tested so medyo kakatakot baka bigla mapigtas (and me nangyari na ngang similar incident sa megamall, nakita ng isang member ng BWP).

Most buckle carriers (also called SSCs - soft structured carriers) are kindy pricey kasi dumaan sa safety tests (yung buckles, stitches, etc) so mas kampante rin tayo as parents sa safety ni baby..

Depends on your budget, you may opt for a ring sling instead (around 1k) or yung mei tai ng Lelliebubb or Nanay At Ako, around 1k-1.5k yun.

I like K'Tan however Im worried of the sizing so I might get a Mei tai nlang. Any Ruxpin Mei tai user here? I liked Infantino sana kaso parang me weight limit ata.

^ hehe. Nakaka-overwhelm sa una. Pero once you get the idea of what's recommended and not e mas madali na to decide.

Ang alam ko mataas ang weight limit ng Infantino mei tai.. yung Picolo yata yung 12lbs lang ang limit.. i've heard of Ruxpin na din, seems like a reputable brand too.

Me naman mga sis sa local interested ako sa saya pero sa imported, i have heard good reviews on tula. Im still on my 26weeks kaya nagcacanvass pa.
