Hello! Super sorry, hindi na ako nakapag-post ng review since our son's 1st birthday last September!
May hindi kasi magandang nangyari with One Café and Events Place, and I'll probably only 'rant' and be biased about it that time.
Everything went as planned and requested naman
Anniel was accommodating with our requests then.
We had Function Hall A, with estimated 85 adults and 25 kids. 12 heads per round table ang set-up nila, excluding the kiddie tables and chairs in front
We had 1 candy/dessert station plus 2 food carts at the side. Sakto yung Hall for the entire set-up
hindi masikip, and there were enough space to move and play around
We had the following for the food selection:
Buffet Menu
Cream of Vegetables
Orange Barbeque Stuffed Pork
Honey Pepper chicken
Seared Fish Fillet in Escabeche Sauce
Stir Fried Pancit Canton
Highland Stir Fried Vegetables

The place, the guests, and the party had all been great, really
EXCEPT FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN IN THE KIDS MENU
Parents found out that the 'texture and taste' were a bit different. Parang hilaw DAW, or may ibang lasa. So I quickly told the parents to leave the kid's fried chicken. I wasn't able to try it myself, but my husband did. Nothing unusual naman daw at least for him and a few dads, too. However, for some other parents, iba daw talaga. And we just can't let that pass by, lalo as hosts diba.
While we're settling with Anniel, the sad part for me really was that he never acknowledged the claims
Sana diba nag-sorry na lang siya, regardless if the claims were true or not. Us, being his clients had inconvenience with it, for that part sana nag sorry na lang siya. However, he said something like it could happen to anybody, and that iniingatan rin niya them being the provider. He said the chicken (for kids and adults) were all marinated/frozen in the same batch. And that wala naman daw kami during the food tasting (it was my sister and my bro-in-law who did it on our behalf since we're out of the country that time). He's very worried that one negative review may ruin him or the business na iniingatan niya talaga.
Unfortunately, these statements of his were actually the ones making a negative point against himself. He was occupied protecting his or the place's name that he may have actually made so in vain by disregarding a client's claim
My husband's 7yo nephew had typhoid fever two (2) days after. My friend's 2yo son had LBM. We didn't know if it was actually from the fried chicken or some other food they may have consumed after
One Café Events Place called though, asking which hospital they were confined so they can send their representatives. They never followed-up after that call.
Pasensiya sa mahabang review! I was hoping to do this without being unfair to either party
Again, for me and my husband, and based on the feedback from some guests, the party was really great

Now, after almost a year, everyone's happy and healthy naman
We're planning for our son's 2nd birthday party already hehe and one important thing that we're taking extra note of is the quality of the food delivered
We didn't think it would be somehow compromised with One Café and Events Place that time. We hope this won't happen to anyone else
