For overseas clients ba do you still need to sign na actual policy and send those back to PH?

Oo daw sis, balak ko din kase kumuha nito sabe ng classmate ko e kelangan daw e nasa Pinas ako to sign the documents, para daw cover ng Phil Law etc.

Any feedback on claiming process? Both earnings and insurance (in the event of death)?

I'm getting a VUL at Pru Life. One of my friends is a part-time consultant.  Looks promising.  I've also been told sila nga daw ang number one fund manager  in Asia.

So true sis number sila...
I am so glad sa topic nato.
I am a happy policy holder of Pru Life UK too.

Hello mga sis! Can anyone please recommend a good and patient agent of pru life who can help me understand life insurance better especially the one with investment? I would prefer sana yung agent na mabilis mag respond sa email since wala ako sa pinas. Salamat po! God bless!  ;D

@j.adore Hello! The agent which you recommended replied to my email. At first she was asking for my personal information then she asked who referred her. I forgot to get your name, so I told her your initial here. Then she replied that she's not from pru life and that she's from philam.  :(

hi mga sis! do you think pru's life care advance plus is a good critical illness plan? i was wondering kasi if it's less expensive if i get is a separate plan or add it as a rider for pruterm15. i have separate investments and a whole life plan already so am pretty much set there. having a critical illness plan should be a good addition, too.

pa-pm naman po ng details ng agents niyo na subok na, please. i know they need to sell to earn, but i also want someone who will listen to my needs first. thanks in advance po! :)

Thanks.  ;D

Hi mga sis! Am planning to get a life insurance from Pru Life. Kaya lang the terms used in the thread seem to be jargon pa sa akin. Could anyone here refer a good financial consultant who can "patiently" explain the plans/policy or whatever you call them, someone who can timely monitor and give updates sana na hindi ka na lang basta iiwan pag nag-avail. I'm on my late 20's na, and I guess it's a bit late na. Sana when I was starting working pa lang, dun na ako kumuha  :(

Ano po ang selling proposition ng Pru Life UK?

Yung tipong kapag namimili between different insurance companies, ito ang winning factor ng Pru?

Hello sis! I can say ang edge ng Pru is yung kanilang Fund Manager, Eastspring Investments which is based in Singapore. Most life insurance companies kasi here sa Philippines have inhouse Fund Managers.
Si Eastspring was tapped by the BSP they will manage the Philippines equity mandate for the BSP provident fund, which provides retirement funding for its employees.

Another thing is the VUL product mismo. Pru Life pioneered VUL here in the Philippines, catering the masa market. Kasi unlike other life insurance companies, Pru Life offers the lowest VUL premiums. :)

thisxx, good to hear na hindi naman hassle makuha yun pera sana hanggang sa time na ako naman ang mag withdraw :)

by the way, nag register din kasi ako sa website para makita yun policy details na nakuha ko.. Sabi nung agent ko, makikita din daw online yung kinikita ng pera, totoo ba yun? yun ba yung nasa FINACIAL VALUES tab?

Not sure if may pamilyar sa inyo.. :)

@missFB

Pru Access ba yan? Yes sis, dun mo mamomonitor yung funds mo. :) Although kailangan iupdate ka din ng agent mo every year. Maganda na din na namomonitor mo sa sarili mo yung funds.

Yung claims, basta complete yung requirements, I can guarantee that it will be hassle-free. :)

Bakit Fund Manager? Bakit VUL?

I am concerned with the insurance per se.

Ano ang edge ng Pru from other insurance companies? Why should one choose Pru?

lol at bakit hindi pwede yun ang maging reasons  ;)
Pru's main products are VUL so the manager's expertise
is definitely a plus.

On the insurance side, they were the first to come out
with an "early" critical illness cover. But I think Axa
and Philam has already followed suit.

I would have gotten a Pru policy especially since they're
one of the few companies allowing credit card payment
but their loyalty bonus scheme does not appeal to me.

So I have VULs from Insular and Sunlife instead.
