SM Aura supermarket offers these speculoos craze. I'm not curious of this spread pero gusto ko bilhan yung little brothers ko. Fav nila Nutella.

So hindi na siguro ito craze, kasi too late na ako. First time to try last night ng Ovomaltine, super duper yummy!

And daming Ovomaltine and Lotus Speculoos sa DF Fiesta Mall. Pero mahal din ha compared sa US prices ~ 7.2 US$ yung Lotus, 7.5 US$ yung Ovomaltine. Halos kapresyo ng mga resellers din.

^thanks for the info sis cleo, sa duty free na lang pala ako magpapabili ng ovomaltine, ang mahal pa rin kasi sa mga resellers, 450 na ang pinakamurang nakita ko lotus biscoff naman widely available na, sa landmark around 320 na lang ang  400g creamy sayang lang wala silang crunchy.

finally natikman ko na din to, yung palaman. kasi ang una kog natikman ay yung biscuit na ok naman ang lasa. pero yung palaman parang may umay factor. di ko nga naubos yung isang tinapay na nilagyan ko.  mas ok for me ang biscuit although kung iisipin magkalasa naman sila. baka yung texture.

sino ba nagpauso ng speculoos craze na to?

Hindi masyado masarap yung cookies and cocoa swirl and also yung almond butter na spread nila.
Feeling ko pwede ilagay sa kare-kare.
Nilagay na lang ng mother ko sa cookies kasi ayaw kainin ng mga kids ko.
Malapit lang sa house ng in laws ko sa LA yung Trader joe's kaya i  hoarded quite a lot during
Our vacay last december. Buti na lang konti lang ang nabili ko na cookies and cocoa swirl.

Gumawa ako ng Speculoos ice cream nung new year using yung Lotus Spread at speculaas spice mix.  Nasarapan ako pero I think ako lang nakaappreciate ng Speculoos flavor haha, kasi ang comment ng family members eh, ay ano ba yan lasang cookie butter na naman eh kakasasawa na! Eh dati atat na atat sila to try out the Lotus spreads na pinadala ko. I think tapos na ang Cookie Butter craze sa pinas. Ano kaya ang next food craze? :-)

mas type pa rin ng mga kids ko ang Ovomaltine (although sobrang tamis for me kasi siguro thunders na ko) at nutella.
 mas type ko ng slight ang lotus biscoff. pero dahil nga siguro, sa dami ng resellers at readily available nadin sa Pinas kaya waning na ang popularity.

Havent tried this.. Is it really yummy? Im not a peanut butter lover.. After speculous, will i be one? Hehe
