^Sis you could flatten the cookie dough bago mo isalang sa oven. Re sa pagging malambot nung cookies, its normal. Let it cool muna after a few minutes pagkatapos mo alisin sa oven.

^ Sa supermarket meron nyan. Meron ang Anchor, named Whipping Cream, Emborg also has one, di ko lang alam kung heavy or whipping cream ang nakalagay. Pero I recommend yung Elle & Vire. About 300 per liter. :)

I agree sis kahit sa butter I prefer Elle & Vire.

--

Speaking of butter I baked Butterscotch Bars kahapon and it was a hit. You should it try mga sis.  :D

Hello Bakers!  :) ;)

Question, If I want a brown/dark bread, dapat ba Rye bread ang hanapin ko?

I don't like white bread. I always go for whole wheat bread, pandesal. Not because they're healthier but because mas gusto ko yung texture. Yung maligasgas sa lalamunan. LOL.

Parang mga to : http://teriskitchen.com/breads/rye.html

http://www.123rf.com/photo_8099976_different-bread-products-on-white-background.html(darkest bread)

When I typed in "dark bread" sa google, at pag inoopen ko yung mga link, rye bread yung karamihan. So, dapat talaga Rye bread ang hanapin ko if ganung color ang type ko sa bread? Tama ba or depende sa pag bake?

Thank you guys...
BTW, I'm not a baker kaya ewan ko kung may sense ba question ko.  :-[

Made choco brownies last Friday for hubby's birthday. Result was good kasi masarap daw sabi ng mga bisita :). Ako din nasarapan kahit 1st time ko ginawa.

Easy to find yung ingredients saka madali lang din gawin.

hello all! tanong ko lang does anybody here know the recipe of a cheese cake. I don't mean the cheesecake na gamit is cream cheese.  It is sort of the dense cake tapos parang my condensed milk and cheese as topping lang.  If you have the recipe pahingi namn. tenchu!

No need to add food coloring na. So flavor and color na sya.

Nag back read ako before mga sis, pero i am not sure if nasagot na. anyway, can i use the colored choco bars from chocolate lovers as melting chocolates for cake pop (provided that i break them down to small pieces so that they will melt faster) gagana kaya yun? tia!

You can try this sis:

4 eggs
500ml glucose
3/4 cups cake flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 whole butter
1 can condensed milk

mix eggs and glucose, set aside.
cream butter, sugar and condensed milk.
add half of the glucose mixture and half of the cake flour.
repeat last step.
once mixed, top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

i adjusted the recipe to my liking kasi the glucose made the mixture too sticky, pero etiher way, no fail itong recipe na ito. I have tried it both the cake and cupcake versions, yung cooking time lang naiba.
nga pala, if you'll be following the cake/pie version, make sure na manipis lang yung batter to ensure even cooking.

lemme know if it will help :)

^^^ hi paje20 i recently made cake pops using the colored chocolate bars and turned out ok naman! I haven't used candy melts like wilton's so I can't really compare pero it covered the cake pops and it hardened naman. only thing i'm concerned is when you put it inside the ref and take it out, nagpapawis so if you're planning to package it  wrapped in plastic, baka matunaw ng konti and didikit sa plastic yung chocolate coating. d ko sure kung ganun din case with wilton.

Ako sis nagawa ko to, i bought white colored chocolate bar, melt it and put gel based food coloring.. Just make sure na hindi liquid based yung food coloring
