^My very first recipe na binake ko from raw materials is chocolate chip cookies.  Since I dont have any history in baking, I tried a box recipe first, yung ready to bake. From there I learned a lot like dont over mix the batter para di tumigas ang cookies. Then dun ko rin nalaman bakit masydong flat yun cookies, etc.. After gaining confidence na kaya ko na, that's the time I started looking for a recipe , read the reviews and started baking it. Then try and try ng mga recipes hanggang makahanap ng perfect recipe.   :D

Nakaka inspire mag bake everytime I read through this thread! I have just started baking kasi I bought a new oven and still building my baking utensils and supplies. I go to this store along Boni Avenue, it's called Sweetcraft. In front of RTU. They have everything you need! From ingredients to packaging to cookie cutters meron sila! Na-amaze ako sa store na'to. You might want to check it out if you are near the area.

I used Beatty's Chocolate cake recipe and it was super moist and yummy, it's not that sweet too.. :) I baked it last monday and I still cant contain my excitement :))

^ pero alam mo sis parang hindi ako satisfied kasi uneven yung pag luto ng cookies at cupcakes. mas nauunang naluluto yung nasa bandang likod. so I guess yun yung hot spot nya. di ko alam how to remedy it. and to think mura pa yun hah, kasi nga china daw! mas mahal kasi ng around 10k or less yung italy. tapos nabasa ko din na nagkakalawang nga yung lutuan! omg. kaya pala! ganun nga yung nangyayari sa stove ko parang nagmamantsa everytime I cook on it! plus ang hirap icontrol ng temperature kasi knob lang sya. sorry for the rant and medyo OT na.

^sis Lagermania din oven namin tapos ganyan din yung samin uneven yung heat. Sa SM namin yun binili siguro mga 8yrs ago na pero I dont know kung china ba yun or italy. What I do na lang whenever I'm baking ee binabaliktad ko yung pan kapag luto na half way para kahit pano pantay.  ;D Naku yung temp nga dun din ako nahihirapan lalo kapag cookies ang ibbake parang tantsahan. Noob pa lang din ako sa baking pero I'm planning to buy yung oven thermometer para less worries.  ;D

Anyways, para hindi masyado OT  ;D I have a question din sana re Milk when baking. Mga sis what brand yung usually gingamit nyo? Kasi I've tried few brands like nestle and selecta parang hindi ako satisfied.  ???

When you say di ka satisfied sa milk Sis, baket hindi? I usually use Nestle for custards.

Mas matagal pa ang shelf-life (unopened) since delata.

Malamang nasa gamit mong pan. Trial and error na yan hanggang magkakilala kayo ng pan mo. Me ganyan akong pan dati (yung ke Sharon na line yata). Nakakapikon gamitin kasi after magpre-heat sakto ang temp, pag sinalang ko na magsisimula na magshoot-up ang temp tas napakahirap na timplahin kung bababaan o tataasan yung temp nya. Buti na lang kamo cookie sheet lang sya so for more bantay bantay na lang ako sa mga cookies para di matutong hanggang sa totally pinalitan ko na sya.  ;D

^ Sa supermarket meron nyan. Meron ang Anchor, named Whipping Cream, Emborg also has one, di ko lang alam kung heavy or whipping cream ang nakalagay. Pero I recommend yung Elle & Vire. About 300 per liter. :)

hahah ewan ko ba mga sissies, iba yung feeling, parang napakafulfilling na gustong gusto mo yung ginagawa mo, maganda ang kinalabasan ng chocolate cupcake ko, gustong gusto nila, parang brownies siya, I used recipe from Allrecipe.com, wala lang ako frosting
I bought stand mixer na din, for only 1299.00 naka sale siya dating 1800.00, napabili tuloy ako ng hindi oras, hehe.

^hi sis! Congrats sa cupcake mo! :) I suggest na next mong itry is cookies, mas madali siya kaysa sa cupcake. :)

Thanks sis. I made a cupcake yesterday. I encountered problems with my cookies.
1. Hindi siya nagflatten, the shape when I scooped it same lang din siya nung naluto, so I need to use a spoon to flatten it nung malapit na maluto

Thanks. it turned out na mas madali gawin ang cupcakes. :(
