Can we put thumbs up button somewhere here in GT?! Like na like ko to! The story of my life. Lol! Hehe

Sis andee, I do make breads. Pandesal, cinnamon rolls, siopao (as it uses yeast din, just steamed) and I love doing it! It's just that, wala akong mixer to knead the dough so muscle power ang key equipment. Tamad mode this days. ;) I tried pies na din and I love the end result of the flaky crust. Hehe

Sis ms15, nice cake! Hubby loved you even more noh? Nothig beats home baking. Happy birthday to him!

Sis det, plan ko ding gumawa nyan. I have almond slivers and sabi sa net, almond flour or meal is just ground up almonds. So itry kong i-ground yung almonds ko.

try ko magbake mamaya for our dessert. with my little assistant.  ;D wala na silang manguya e.

ang ganda ng thread na to...   ;D

i've tried baking at school but haven't tried at home. i'm planning to bake my son's birthday cake next month.

we have an oven but my mom doesnt want me to use it plus it's old na rin.

can i bake a decent cake in a bread toaster-like oven? i dont know if that's how you call it. pero sabi sa manual pwede naman pang bake ng cake yun. can anybody share their baking experience with this "mini oven"?

and what cocoa powder is best to use for cakes?

thanks in advance.  :)

I buy my whole wheat flour sa palengke ng Marikina, St. Ellen's Trading, at P60 / kilo.

^^the recipes i was going to make call for those flours sis.. yung almond flour po para sa french macarons ko sana gagamitin.. at yung whole wheat flour naman po para sa honey wheat bread po sana..

^sis antagal ko din naghanap ng cornmeal na yan for my honey wheat bread.. sa Healthy Options lang ako nakabili, parang P135 ata yung isang pack.. everytime i ask about it sa ibang baking supplies na napuntahan ko parang nakatingin lang sa kin yung binibilan ko and di sila familiar with it. :))
