Caterer Review: K By Cunanan (Part II)

Hi mga sis!  Finally nakapag-post na ako.  Super busy during my vacation sa Philippines kaya hindi ako nakapag check ng GT.  We had our initial FT last Oct 29.  May food na nagustuhan ko, meron din hindi.  Kunin ko kay h2b yung list nung mga nagustuhan namin & yung ayaw namin then post ko dito.  Ang dami pang natira and pinauwi ni Rann yung leftovers. 

Sis vitug.annie, ako din I got to taste Hizon's and hindi ko nagustuhan.  Si Hizon's kasi caterer nung wedding ng friend ko.  Medyo hindi ko din nagustuhan service nila.  Mabait naman yung mga wait staff pero yung sa buffet table, ang daming dish na hindi na-refillan agad.  Kahit na disappointed ako sa ibang dish ng KbyC nung inital FT namin, non-nego pa din sila and may final FT pa naman eh

We loved: seared tuna on tortilla, broccoli & cheese soup, bbq chicken salad, mixed seafood chicken and chorizo paella, baked fish in cream in a bed of mashed potato, bbq baby back ribs corn with tarragon butter, slow cooked beef with mashed potato and creamed spinach.  yung mga hindi ko namention from the menu, yun yung di ko masyadong type.. yung 5 desserts, lahat naman ok sakin (kasi dessert) lol! pero honestly, walang wow factor pa.. si hubby gusto yung cannoli. i had to request pa yung ibang dessert sa final FT para matikman ko lahat.
sis rienny25.. yung sa wedding na naattendan ko,Hizon's ang caterer nila. hindi ko alam if hindi ba masarap o baka sa choice of food lang ng couple, very ordinary kasi. parang ako lang nagluto nung togue nila eh.

How to book for FT?
Is it thru email, mobile?

And paano po pumunta sa office nila sa green meadows? (Tama ba?)

^ideally, either method of communication should work. though i had to go through both to ensure a slot.  they have limited slots per day lang kase so you have to book maybe a few weeks in advance. i sent an e-mail to emailus@kbycunanancatering.com with our details tapos nag-follow up lang ako until i was assigned an AE then kay AE na ko nakipag-coordinate with the FT schedule.
in my experience lang ah.. isa sila sa pinakamatagal magreply sa inquiries kahit yung AE na na-assign sa'ken ang tagal bago ako na-accommodate and i had to follow up ng mejo ilang beses din and sa pagkakaalam ko di ako nag-iisa na ganun ang experience so take note of that na lang sis.
though for some brides talaga, ok lang sa kanila yun dahil mukhang KbyC delivers naman lalo na pag malapit na ang wedding mo and talagang maganda ang styling nila. marami ding brides na non-nego ang KbyC kaya masipag sila mag-follow up.

papunta naman sa office nila, mas madali talaga pag may sasakyan kayo kase hindi sila malapit sa main road at hindi daanan ng puv's yung area. kung commute kayo, i suggest print out a map then take a cab papunta dun.

Hi, Sisters!
This is my 1st time to post here in the Wedding section.

I am a December 2015 bride. Been engaged for quite a while but did not start my preps asap. I checked KbyC just this week and I learned that they are fully booked on my date and will not allow any more bookings. I am willing to move to a Friday date just to have them. Is it really sulit? Mga how much per pax inclusive of the styling?

hello girls! on your opinion, what's the best pasta dish of K? i've tried their Grilled chicken on pesto, sauteed tomatoes and onions and their Baked tomato and creamy pesto penne. Both hindi namen nagustuhan ni h2b. any other recommendation? tia!

Sis yummieyomi, question, if you don't mind. How many FTs have you had with KbyC? Pwede ba more than one before the final FT? Thanks! I liked naman their baked penne btw. Sa lahat ng sinerve nila nung nag FT kami, yun yung pinaka OK for us.

^ Hi dear! We had two ft with K, initial and final. On final food tasting, you can request the dishes that you want to be serve. You can request for another ft but for a fee, not so sure how much. However, our AE said, they only entertain scheduled initial or final ft during the month of Dec. and Jan. They don't allow extra food tasting anymore during those months. Maybe because it's peak season, sobrang busy sila.

Most of the reviews nga na nababasa ko, they like the Baked Penne. It is one of the best seller pasta pa nga daw ni KbyC. But how come we didn't like it?! We really have weird tastebuds!

^hi sis! 2 FTs lang ang included kay KbyC. and during FT, I heard na up to 4 pax lang pwede, otherwise you will have to pay 1000/head..

You can call or message Gzel at 0917-532-7997. She was the one who assisted me in securing a booking/date with them. The e-mail replies medyo matagal. Gzel replies naman. though she is not the AE yet. She is the one who assigns the AE.

Mga sis, kung K ba kukunin do you girls get events stylist pa ba? I want to have a wedding kasi sana sa events place para makuha ang K pero ang worry namin eh baka kailangan pa ng ES kasi bare lang ang mga events place.

They can spruce up the place and the price depends on your peg.

Sa amin no more stylist and it's one of the reasons why we got KbyC 😊

did you upgrade ba sis? Is the most affordable ba nila eh super simple lang? I've been eyeing on them and nagka-go signal na ako to check them out pero future in laws prefers hotel para daw no need for event stylists. If you did sis ano yung pinadagdag mo and malaki ba tinaas sa presyo?

No upgrade kami. We just chose from whatever they have. The simplicity will depend on your peg din kasi pwede naman borrow lahat ng gamit nila kung available.

You can try to backread meron other brides nagupgrade pero mura daw.

In my opinion no nees to upgrade. We didn't upgrade na.sa syling and they exceeded my expectations naman
