^Sis correction, OA naman pala yung estimate ko na Y10k per day. Parang mga Y8k was our average spend per day. Kasama na dun all the coffee, snacks, water, etc. and train.   There were days we spent less. I think there was a day we spent less than Y5k lang and that's when we were just at Shinjuku and Harajuku shopping. Really depends on where you eat, how much you eat, how far the travel is, etc. Ma-kape kasi kami, and parang coffee yung nagpa mahal. Parang I remember paying Y400-Y600 for coffee. A

The Y1.7k meal in Disney was per pax. Set meal yun. It was this Jap resto near the entrance. Okay -- it was nothing great. BUT, that resto was less crowded compared to the other restos that's why we picked it.

^thank you so much sis! Enough naman pala yung budget allotment ko for food and transpo. Now naman im so torn whether to stay in shinjuku or shibuya. Ok din kasi reviews for shibuya excel hotel tokyo. And i heard shibuya is good for shopping too. Hhhmmmm.....

Hi ladies, I hope my question isn't going to be too silly. But I will be in Tokyo during the holy week, Japan specifically Tokyo isn't big naman in participating holy week activities diba? As I assume everywhere else, dito lang sa Pinas.

Second is, is suica card advisable if ang mga pupuntahan ay places such as Disney, Odaiba, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Tokyo Tower, Asakusa, Imperial Palace, /Harajuku etc? I'll be staying for around 10days. Will I'm thinking of buying the 7days pass. Thanks a lot in advance!

Question, May mabibilhan ba Ng pasalubong sa loob Ng narita airport after immigration? Para Pwede hand carry na Lang at di am excess weight sa checkin. Thanks

^Dami Sis. I've used both Terminal 1 and 2 pareho meron, and some are even closer to the departure gates. I bought the Royce chocolates (Nama) that need to be chilled from the shops here.

^^^ sis, sa pagkakaalala ko reloadable ang Suica card. Yan din ginamit namin last year para dire-diretso na, pwede sa bus, trains, etc. Pati sa Yokohama nagamit namin. About 10days din kami, nagta-top-up na lang kami pag paubos na. Pwede mo naman I-refund yung balance, pero kami, we kept the card na lang since matagal naman ang expiry nya - 5 or 10yrs yata?? So pwede pa magamit sa next trip.

^di naman nagkalat sa terminal 2 I found it in 2 stores - one after immigration and one near the boarding gate. In terminal 1, I recall it's sold at a store near the boarding gate too. Can't remember the exact names of the stores.

^ sure na me mabibilhan sa loob, sis. Kahit nga nag-transit lang kami from US for less than 2hrs e nakapag-hoard pa kami ng Royce Macha Almond. Pati yung kitkat na iba-ibang flavors madami din sa airport (both outside and after immig).

^^ pasagot din, hehe.. all-time favorite ko sa nama ng Royce is yung Champagne, as in ilang taon na yun default binibili ko pag meron. Then minsan meron sila "seasonal flavors", like yung me Grand Marnier, masarap din. Yung recent na nabili namin na nama last month e me Rhum. Di ko natikman though kasi pregnant ako, di pwede me alcohol.

Apr 22-28 kami sa Tokyo and we plan on doing shopping too.

any recommendation kung anong magandang pasalubong sa mga relatives and officemates? Mga nasa 30 kasi yung papasalubungan ko sa office pa lang.. Sana yung hindi lalagpas ng 5KPhp.. Mas OK kung pwede namin mabili sa narita T2.

And about naman sa G-shock and canon dslr lenses, mas mura ba kung sa Tokyo ako bibili?

^ nagpatanong ako ng G-shock watches, for men na nakita ni mama nasa 1.7 lapad sya. so mga nasa 7k+ in peso.

^^sis, i suggest for pasalubong, chocolates na lang, kitkat greentea costs 250yen lang, macadamia nuts/meiji almonds 150yen lang yung regular box..

or make-ups, yung mga Kate by Kanebo mura din, facial masks 20-30pesos each lang.. madaming okay na pasalubong

^parang ang mahal nga ng g-shock watches sa japan.. even seiko watches, i bought a ladies watch for pasalubong, 10,000yen

Thanks for your helpful input, sis. Akala ko kasi nung una same a JR Pass and Suica. So ang suica card, available sa train stations? Available ba ito sa airport? Mukhang mag suica card na lang nga ako at di daw advisable kung ndi naman lalabas ng Tokyo.
