hi mga sis. im currently in tokyo.. very cold ang weather pero hindi naman nagssnow

@scents01: what's your daily wardrobe like to combat the cold?  uniqlo heatech top & bottom + long sleeves shirt + sweater (with wool) + 80% up wool overcoat/outerwear or dapat ba down jacket (with down feathers)? 

watched the snowstorm last month....ang lamig!!!!

Sis indigo, yes pwede na yun sis. Yung iba dito with down feathers din..

Ako usual getup ko is thermal top and bottom plus jeggings, sweater, gloves and trench coat.. Hindi ako nakabili ng heattech sa uniqlo sa pinas, wala ng stocks.. Will look for one here.

Every morning maaraw naman pero malamig pa rin sa labas.. im staying in roppongi btw.. May konting tunaw pa na snow sa kalsada pero yun lang. Since i got here last sat, wala namang snow..

@scents01:  thanks sa reply sis!    ayoko na mag underdress sa japan kasi nangatog ako sa lamig last punta namin na approaching winter.  Lol.


@cheskacutie: if i may suggest, try mo sa tokyu food show  (depashika or underground food stalls) esp mga 8.30 pm.  50% off  na mga food nila.  yummy sushi!  sa shibuya station siya.

we always stay at Ueno Touganeya Hotel (http://www.tougane-h.com/e/index.html) mas swak kasi sa budget and the trains are all close-by.     something to consider also. 

btw, literally lightning speed ang LTE sa Japan.  grabe!

Is going to mt fuji and hakone easy to do if DIY? Others say it's easy via bullet train.
 Hope  you girls can help me out
It's so expensive if we get the package from the travel agency, 15k for two people. Day tour .

Would like to ask too where can we ride a bus going to the hotel once we get to the airport and is it easy to buy train tickets if we want to roam the city too. DIY [textspeak!] kami....

^hi sis, planning on doing DIY to Mt. Fuji, pero hindi sa hakone, pipicturan lang namin...may nareseach ako kaso, hindi ko pa ma-share, dahil, ittry pa lang namin, haha, kapag success sabihan kita, LOL

this week na alis namin, wah, sana kayanin namin ang lamig at hindi magkulang ang yen? hindi ko lam kung san ang mga forex don e, LOL

^sis mas okay na magpapalit ka ng sobra. mahirap maghanap ng money changer dito. hindi tulad sa pinas nagkalat.

^^ another option is to bring your atm card and just withdraw for a minimal transaction fee. We always use our bdo or metrobank atm cards when we travel. Di ganun kadami papalit namin when we leave, then we just withdraw from the atm once we get to our destination. Or we bring extra USD since lagi kami me USD na nakatabi.

may credit card din kaming dala, kaso baka hindi lahat ng establishments, pwede yun, hehe
