Anybody knows if the Cherry blossoms will be in full bloom by first week of April in Tokyo?
We are planning to go there by April 5 or April 6

Hope someone can reply. First time to travel in Japan. Also where is a good hotel to stay in Tokyo? Like near the train station for easy roaming in the city.

^ for cherry blossoms, you can check www.japan-guide.com from time to time. Madalas sila mag-update dun. Schedule is not really predictable because it depends on the weather/temperature..

Any recommendation for a budget hostel? Ill be travelling alone.

What's the best and cheapest way to go to Tokyo from Osaka, JR Pass or thru Willer Express(overnight)?  I only have 5 days in Japan and we'll be coming in in Osaka. Plan is to spend 2 days in Tokyo and then go back again to Osaka.  Ideally, gusto ko sana magbullet train para 2hours lang pero ang mahal =(

^overnight is cheaper than JR Pass...kung 5 days lang, overnight bus na lang sis, 5 days din ako nung first time ko sa Japan, haha...hindi ko din kasi mamamaximize  yung JR Pass, hehe

^yup sis, pwede kang mamili ng bus, may restroom, may blanket, pero walang stopover, pero may bus din na wala lahat, haha...pili ka na lang ng may restroom

^talaga merong wala? hehe.  During your 5-day trip, saan ka nagpunta?  Our main concern is to go to Universal in Osaka and Disney Sea in Tokyo.  The rest, kung ano na lang mapuntahan na kakasya sa oras namin.  You think this is doable?  Of course, I'd also like to visit Shibuya and Harajuku again.  Kung kaya pa, Studio Ghibli din.  Thanks so much gorgeous_me.  =)

^uu sis, merong wala, hahaha...yung nabook ko non, wala e, autumn pa non, ang lamig, buti nalang, tulog ako, at na-cr na lang ako nung nasa tokyo na, haha..pero merong may restroom, at iba't ibang type din, pero siyempre, mas mahal na kapag mga business class, yung price range ng bus, nasa 3400-11000 yen, mas maagang magbook, mas mura

5 days ko non, osaka-nara-kyoto-tokyo, pero naka-plot lang yung mga need kong puntahan ha, mostly tourist spots, hindi ako pumunta ng USJ or Disneysea last time (this year pa lang, hahaha)

kung mag-USJ at Disneysea kayo, allot 1day each sis, masyado silang malaki, hehe
