my perfect spag sauce is different from my family's or many pinoys' for that matter. ayoko kasi ng matamis. de-tancha din ako magluto. :P

kung mabilisang spaghetti i use hunt's instant sauces: 1 portion na mushroom flavor, 1 portion na may cheese flavor (can't remember exact names).

spices: oregano, laurel, marjoram, thyme, parsley, rosemary, sage, paprika, minsan chili flakes

may halong veggies like mushroom, olives, bell pepper, sometimes carrots, at gulay panggisa. no msg. patis din ang pampaalat.

ang meat always ginigisa or pinapakuluan ko bago ihalo.

i use meat stock to thin the sauce habang pinapakuluan. kung may oras, i simmer the sauce up to 4 or 5 hours para manuot at maghalo ng husto ang flavors.

pag ginagamit yung clara ole three cheese sauce, ilang grams po yung dapat gamitin and ilang grams din ng pasta? hindi kasi ako marunong mag tancha kaya ayoko mag kulang ng pasta or mag kulang ng sauce.  ;D

Try adding balsamic vinegar to your sauces if you feel it lacks the ooomph, works well on basic italian sauces when you don't want to add sugar or anything else.

we use part ground beef and part ground pork. then my mom breaks an egg sa ground meat then spices it up sabay halo. aside from garlic, we also mix in red bell peppers para may different flavor. the catsup we use is ufc para may tamis then tomato sauce and tomato paste. what i do naman for my own sauce is spend a little. i put sundried tomatoes. i also put basil and oregano pag saucy na sha. ansarap, grabe!!!

I like Ragu (nabili ng tita ko yan. Don't know where).

I like adding oregano sa pasta sauce ko. Minsan nga, Clara Ole Three Cheese lang, tapos mag sautee lang ako ng garlic at konting onion sa butter, tapos add the pitted olives ok na ako as sauce ng pasta. Kahit walang meat go na ako! Tapos may garlic bread ako na partner, Yum! Yum! Yum!

Unfortunately, yung in-laws ko at most of my friends prefer the pinoy-style sauce.

;) I buy del monte filipino style sphagetti para automatic na yung flavour ;)  I add ground beef, garlic, onions, sliced button mushroom, laurel leaves, a little of basil, and combination of herbs in one bottle, salt and pepper.  I don't add milk anymore kasi ayaw nila yung may milky feel.

Hi I just wanna share my pasta sauce..im using clara ole italian sauce and san remo na fettucini or kahit yung spaghetti...our fave is using white shrimp, balatan, alisin ulo, iwan lang buntot for presentation...sprinkle sea salt and paprika then fry sa olive oil...set aside. Then pinag fry-an ng shrimp, sautee onion and garlic and pour in sauce add salt and pepper and paprika to taste...i used enormous amount of dried basil for the aroma..toss in pasta and parmesan cheese..then top the fried shrimp...ayun sarap na sarap si hubby..samahan mo ng toasted gardenia bread.

sometimes im using fresh tomatoes pero peel ko muna yung balat (boil in water)..

butter
garlic
onion
minced pork/beef
salt
pepper
hotdog
ham
mushroom
Filipino style spag sauce
jufran banana ketchup
sugar
cheese
