The perfect Spaghetti Sauce

Instead of the usual gisa ng onions, then add the ground meat and hotdogs, then the sauce, what else could we do to make our spaghetti tastier (and more special)? :)

For pinoy spaghetti, patis ang ginagamit naming pampaalat instead of asin.di nagiging flat ang lasa.minsan naglalagay kami ng liver spread pero konti lang kasi di overwhelming na din ang lasa pag madami.

^i love it din kapag may liver spread. Saka yung iba kapag naglalagay din ng corned beef. Yumm!

Yung tito ko, naglagay ng peanut butter.. Sarap din. Medyo parang same ng consistency kapag may liver spread, pero nutty :)

I'm not fond of sweet style spaghetti.I like a full bodied spaghetti sauce which screams of flavours other than sweet.I use canned diced tomatoes, black olives sliced in rings, mushrooms, dried oregano and fresh basil or Italian herb mix, garlic and no fat ground beef.I don't like onions so I use minimum during sauteing.

i would either use a plain tomato sauce (biggest pack for 1 kl of groundmeat)  and put 1 Can condensed milk. and small can evap milk.

or i will use Filipino style spag sauce and put 1 pack of Nestle all purpose cream.

Then put the Tomato sause/ spag sauce.  I'll add ketchup  (para maging malabnaw ng konti. para no need na to add water) then yung milk (or nestle all purpose cream) then grated cheese. Then papakuluin ko pa siya until makita ko na humalo na yung cheese sa sauce. Then lalagyan ko ng bell pepper. :)  para mabango :)

i use ufc spaghetti sweet style or clara ole three cheese tapos lagyan ko ng nestle cream para
super creamy then i add mushrooms tapos hotdog then ground lean pork or beef.

Minsan pag budgeted spag sauce then corned beef hindi nawawala iyung nestle cream. super creamy at
parang cheesy ang lasa. super like nila sa bahay. :)

SMILE while cooking! :) chos. pero seriously, my technique (in ALL my recipes) is that i don't really measure the condiments i used. tantsahan lang, it depends on my mood. :D and i'm really fond of experimenting recipes din kaya i am trying different brands of tomato/spaghetti sauce (in the case of my spaghetti recipe) :D

my signature spag sauce is:

garlic then add ground beef and pork then hotdogs then del monte filipino style and italian style sauce. i also use patis rather than salt mas malasa siya then pepper.

minsan i put red bell pepper or all purpose cream.

ako naman the usual. though common maglagay ng hotdog, ako bihira lang (just avoiding processed / preservative food), sometimes i add meatballs too. ang naiba naman sa kin is i put diced red bell pepper / capsicum, diced carrots, laurel, bit of brown sugar then konting cheese.

ako naman stick sa iodized salt and pepper.

I place  the garlic, then onion with the ground beef and then eventually put in the Del Monte Spaghetti Sweet Style sauce, then put also Del Monte Tomato sauce. And then put a little butter until it melts and a sprinkle of ground pepper. I even add sugar kahit sweet style sya.Madalas kasi may pagka sour pa din ang sauce that is why,may sugar pa din. Then ang cheese ay later part na pag naka plate na.This is my spaghetti sauce. :)

I cook it sweet dahil sa mga kids.Pag pang adult, sometimes,I put RENO liver spread, sarap! :)
