Nagbook kami ng friends ko sa Feb next year, Valentines. Sana makapag-parasail na ako.

hello mga sis! i've been researching a lot, but i'm still undecided. we're a family of 4 adults and we prefer to stay in a Station 1 beachfront resort. we also prefer that there's a nice swimming pool, hindi plunge pool lang. of course, beach ang pinupuntahan namin sa Boracay, pero pag gabi kasi we love swimming in the pool.

since apat kami sa isang room, ang budget ko for room rate per night is 8K to 16K per night. here are my options right now (rates are for 4 adults in one room):

1. Sea Wind - Super Deluxe (16K/night) or Deluxe Habagat (12K/night); i love the location and the space, kaso maliit and mababaw ang pool... ito pa lang ang napag-stay-an ko before kasi one time pa lang ako nakapunta sa Boracay;

ang isa ko pang issue, pag maubusan nung Deluxe Habagat room at mapunta kami sa rooms nila across the road so tatawid pa, eh ayoko sa rooms na yun. although pwede naman i-specify during booking, eh sa totoong buhay nangyayari naman na name-mess up minsan yung booking mo, so baka dun kami mapunta sa rooms across the road. yung Super Deluxe medyo last option ko na sana kasi yun yung most expensive out of all my options.

2. Estacio Uno - Superior (14K/night); merong pool but i'm not so sure kung mababaw lang or pang-swimming talaga... any feedback? also, i fear baka medyo too crowded ang beachfront kasi ito yung pinakamalapit sa Station 2. tsaka di ba maingay pag gabi?

3. Two Seasons - Deluxe Grand (15K/night); kaso may mga nabasa kong complaints sa Agoda na ang liit daw ng pool, wala daw elevator so kawawa ka kung sa 3F ka, kung sa ground floor ka naman daw, daanan daw ng taong mga nagche-check-in yung room mo so maingay. kaya na-turn-off naman ako...

4. Ambassador - Deluxe (16K/night); halos ka-presyo na nung Super Deluxe sa Sea Wind... pero maganda ba pool dito? as in swimming pool hindi plunge pool lang? kasi yung sa Sea Wind, parang 4ft lang yata yun, if i remember it right, tapos ang liit. can anybody give feedback on Ambassador's pool?


anyway, ayun lang, i just shared my dilemma. i still haven't made my final decision. kasi dahil medyo mataas ang budget ko, gusto ko naman yung sulit yung bayad. tsaka well, baka makatulong din sa iba yung research ko.

^for me, estacio uno and ambassador maganda location. hindi sya super lapit sa mga bar, marerelax ka talaga. though di ko lang nakita pool nila

^^We will be in Boracay next month and our first booking was with Two Seasons but ended up with Estacio Uno. We would have wanted to stay at Fridays sana where we usually stay but this trip we have senior citizens with us. Medyo malayong lakaran din kasi to Station 2 from Fridays.

Anyway, what made me decide to cancel Two Seasons is naliitan ako sa frontage nila plus they are renovating right now. As to when matatapos no idea.

Estacio Uno naman was recommended to us by friends who've stayed there recently. Nice their rooms and the service is good daw. Familiar na rin ako with this resort since it was Waling-Waling before. Lagi namin nadadaanan ito from Fridays to Station 2. We booked their Superior rooms with balcony facing the beach. Balitaan kita how it is after our trip (if you are still deciding by that time).

@mama squeak!, oh great, so you'll experience Estacio Uno pala next month. sige i'll wait for your feedback. sa Sept ko pa naman balak mag-decide. about Two Seasons, yeah that's pretty much off the list, i also read quite some negative reviews in Agoda.

hindi masyadong sikat ang Sea Wind dito sa GT, no? hehe. parang bihira ako makabasa dito ng reviews on Sea Wind. and Ambassador, it's on the upper limit of my budget range. pero we'll see...

^Sure, no problem. My initial feedback from Estacio Uno is mabilis sila sumagot sa mga inquiries ko. Medyo makulit din kasi ako so marami akong emails and calls (Manila office) sa kanila. Very accommodating and prompt sila sumagot. I also requested birthday and anniversary amenities from them since we will be celebrating my Dad's birthday and my sister and her husband's wedding anniversary. I will see kung talagang nag-take note sila sa mga request ko and kung ibibigay since free service lang naman ito.

By the way, I availed of their free daily dinner promo (on top of their free breakfast with room rate).

Re Sea Wind, I did email them when I was still looking for a place in Boracay pero hello sa sobrang bagal sumagot. So turn off na ako and I didn't proceed na. Maganda sana yung beach frontage nila but if their slow email response is a reflection of their service wag na lang.

^sis, sana may website sila para ma-recommend ko din sa friend ko na pupunta ng boracay on december or kung may website yong resort na ima-manage mo by then open na yon pwede ko ring i-recommend

@ tahimik_24 - Kay Kuya Jun kami kumuha... so far okay namn ang mga pictures malinao naman yung mga face namin...ang problmen lang eh ang liit ng mukha namin then malaki ang katwan.. maybe because of the helmet kaya ganun naging effect. then nakakatuwa pa doon ( I'm not sure kung ganun din sa iba) pinahawak kami ng parang bahay ng clown fish?? yung normally makikita mo sa mga corals na parang plant na pinamamahayan ng fish.
