Bad experience with customers
« on: May 15, 2013, 09:14:20 pm »

hi! Online seller here :)
Based on my experience,  I have encountered different kinds of customers, but number 1 rule is to never fight with a customer. Yes it is Unfair! Minsan may mga foul na clients who are very demanding, insulting, agressive,  the worst thing is they are not even your customers yet..they are just inquiring.

Kapag pinatulan ang customer, you lose a sale plus your credibility. When you have an online business, you always have to be professional and accept and get used to people like this.

The best way to not fight is to call on the attitude of the person insulting you by letting them know in a calmest possible way that you are not happy with the way you are being treated and that you are cutting the conversation short. Apologize if you made them feel ignored in any way and that it is not intended. Usually some clients are angry because they misunderstood the situation, once you explained clearly that any inconvenience they feel is unintended, they calm down. but if you fight fire with fire, magkaka away lang and walang pupuntahan. Kapag may mga walang magawa na nang iinis lang sa private messages, just ignore and move on.

When I was starting out in ebay 2006, I had an issue with a customer who left me a negative feedback and called me names and shouted at me over the phone just because she thought I was a scammer.  She was complaining on how it had been a week and she still hasn't received her package.  Insulted me na dukha daw ako, stupid retard, a liar and the last straw was when she shouted F*ck you!.. over a pair of a 280 pesos worth bikini.  It was my first time to experience that kind of hostility from a customer that I shouted back with a "F*CK you too!" then dropped the call. how classy of me no?  ;D

The courier forwarded a copy of the recipient's signature to me and i found out that her maid received the package a week ago but forgot to give her.

It was too much, and I was young and dumb then. I was the kind of person whose always ready to fight back when aggravated, but having Lucky Doll taught me a lot on how to deal with different kinds of people and on how to be patient under stressful situations! I was very embarassed about my behavior, but it was a learning experience for me :)

Hi sis!

- no sale
- stressed ka pa
- possible negative feedback

Among the 3, mas hassle ang biglang mag negative feedback ang customer dahil kahit valid ang explanation mo, mababasa na yan ng future buyers.

Post modified. Please refrain from quoting long posts.
