Hi there, newbie here. I saw this topic po about pedia vaccines. Yung baby ko is one and a half year old na, so far kumpleto siya ng vaccines and I can say na walang mintis dun. Grabe, ang sakit sa bulsa ng PCV vaccine. At 3 doses pa pala ito. PCV ba ang most expensive sa lahat ng required vaccines kay baby?

We also availed the 5-in-1 + polio vaccine sa health center para makatipid tipid kahit papaano. Chinika pa nga ako ng midwife. May binigay siya na number na pwede ko raw bilhan ng gamot tapos siya na lang ang magtuturok para makamura kami. Kaya lang napapraning ako, baka hindi ganoon ka ganda ang paghandle/store sa gamot ng seller kaya sa pedia na lang kami nagpavaccine.

May binigay siya na number na pwede ko raw bilhan ng gamot tapos siya na lang ang magtuturok para makamura kami. Kaya lang napapraning ako, baka hindi ganoon ka ganda ang paghandle/store sa gamot ng seller kaya sa pedia na lang kami nagpavaccine.

sis check mo din amreivax (dot) com cheaper din doon. may mga kakilala na ako who bought their vaccines there tas pinaadminister na lang sa nurse/midwife.

Yes it is an optional vaccine. As per our pedia, can be given as early as 9 months (2 doses) pero kapag 2 years old and above, 1 dose na lang.

gulaysk: ah dalawa ba klase yung rota? Tanong ko sa pedia nya sa last dose nya ng pneumococcal at rotavirus sa June. Parang isa lang yun rota nya eh yung 2,500. Kasi kung 2 siguro itatanong naman nya sa akin.
Mabuti at di naman sakitin anak ko kahit di sya EBF.

^Yes sis. Rotateq is against 5 strains (3 doses) while rotarix is onky against 1 strain (2 doses). We opted to get rotateq na lang from our pedia.

Checked out amreivax's site at malaking mura nga. Kaya lang problema ko kung sino magbigay ng shot if ever. Though pwede naman sa health center with the midwife/nurse.

Nag-inquire nga rin ako the last time na nasa health center  kami for baby's vaccine, sabi nila hindi na raw kasama ang rotavirus vac sa mga available sa kanila. Tinigil na raw dahil masyadong mahal ang kuha nila 🤔
