How much is your pedia's vaccine?

Suking health center din ang baby ko. When we moved to Taguig, lipat din kami ng health center. True yung sinasabi ng ibang mga sis dito na some health centers talaga are not so nice and I would like to include the health center here in Western Bicutan.

First, hindi maganda ang area. Hindi rin maayos yung center mismo lalo na yung waiting area. It was raining when we went there and yung bubong made of yero lang tapos may butas pa. Kawawa mga babies. Second, hindi maayos sistema nila. Nauna pa tawagin yung mga kararating lang na just because kakilala nila yung staff sa center. Haist. Worst of all eh yung nurse na nag aadminister ng vaccine eh akala mo nagwowork sa vet clinic. Akala mo hayop yung bibigyan ng vaccine. Paspasan parang naghahabol ng quota. Gusto ko sabunin but I didn't want to make a scene. Asar talaga.

I asked kung meron na sila PCV. Wala daw. Meron yung doctor nila and it's 2K++ can't remember the exact price and not sure kung ano klase ng PCV yun. I'm a practical mom so why pay when it should be given for free? Heck, who says it's free when we are paying our taxes. Will I go back? Yes. For the last time for my daughter's MMR and that's it. I will ask for a different nurse. Ayoko na yung guy nurse na yun.

Na-miss ko tuloy yung dating health center na pinupuntahan namin sa Project 4 QC. My daughter had her BCG, 3 shots ng 5-in-1, polio, vitamin a and 1st shot ng measles vaccine there. Kaya sa mga sis na taga Project 4, I highly recommend their HC. Walang sinabi yung center dito. Their HC is maganda, malinis, maaliwalas, maayos ang sistema and the nurse who gives the vaccine, she's very nice and may TLC talaga. We usually go there at around 9:30am at wala na masyado tao. Pagkakuha ng record ni baby, temp, weight and length diretso na sa Nurse's office. In less than 30 mins nakauwi na kami.

Pasensya na kung medyo naging OT but I just want to share my experience. On topic naman here's the prices from our pedia in Makati Med:

mga sis, kakatapos lang ng mmr ni baby sa health center. medyo nagtatanong tanong sila kung botante ba kami pero pagdating sa pagturok ok naman. ask ko lang, ano inuna ninyo after mmr? varicella o hep a?

How true na may shortage ng vaccines ngayon?  My baby had her first check up 2 weeks ago (1 mo and 2 days) and sabi ng pedia may shortage nga daw.  Wala daw syang stock that time and maski ang pharmacy ng hospital wala. So sabi nya hanap na lang daw kami ng 6 in 1 or 5 in 1 plus hepa B (second shot) then balik na lang kami sa kanya sa 2nd month ni baby.

And yung mga vaccines pala na to hindi available sa mga drugstores, sa mga doctors and hospital pharmacy lang pala?

^ Yung 5-in-1, 6-in-1 at MMRV ang may shortage sabi ng pedia ni baby. Sis, na-try mo ba sa nearest health center niyo? Dun kasi kami nagpavaccine ng 5-in-1 + OPV ng baby ko dati.
