May pedia ba na pumapayag na yung patient magpprovide ng vaccine then pf na lang babayaran sa kanila? May hubby kasi may contact din na makukuhaan na mas mura..

Same question as w/ ms. freelancer. Bigla akong naging interesado dahil sa sinabi ni ms. iloveshimmer. Kasi kung sakali, laking tipid. Pwede ilaan sa other expenses or better yet savings.

magsstart na ng vaccines ang newborn ko. every mom i know advises me to take advantage of the free vaccines sa health centers first before going to private pedias.

^ Exactly the same advise I got from my Kuya (cousin) & another cousin na nurse. Booster nalang daw ang gastusan.

Hepa 1 - 400+ (pgh, pinabili lang kami ng Hepa vaccine then yung sa nursery na ang nag-inject)
BCG - 1k (asian)
Hepa 2 - 1k (asian)

Feeling ko mahal sumingil ng vaccination yung pedia ni baby kaya lipat ako sa iba.

Gusto ko nga sana i-avail yung mga vaccines na meron sa health center, laking tipid din kasi. pero si hubby ayaw, baka daw mahaba ang pila at since summer ngayon, baka daw maraming bata na may sakit na dinadala dun at mahawa pa si baby. pero gusto ko pa din i-try, sayang kasi yung matitipid

mga sis san ba may mas murang vaccine? sa may manila or qc area..mahal kasi sa pedia niya tinotal ko umabot 33k sa buong 1 yr na yun. mag iinquire din ako sa health center ng available nilang bakuna para mas makatipid. thanksin advance.

hi mga sis, ask ko lang. Yung vaccines kasi ng baby ko, may 1st shot and 2nd shot, ganun ba talaga?
Kumbaga ang 1st shot ibibigay today, then 2nd shot next month.

Eto yung mga vaccines ng baby ko so far (she is already 4 months old btw):

Ganito ba talaga kamahal ang vaccines?

Hi sis @Beng01, yes may mga 2nd or even 3rd shots talaga ang ibang vaccines. Because a single dose for that particular vaccine will not give us enough protection against infection if the baby will encounter one of the anticipated strains that is expected.

I take advantage of vaccines in Health Centers as advise by my Pedia, according to her same lang din naman. Sayang nga eh dahil sa corruption nawalan ng supply ng Rota and Pneumonia vaccines ang mga centers. I will also get flu shots, boosters, measles, etc from health centers

May nagsabi na sakin na sa Health Center ko na lang pabakunahan anak ko kaya lang siguro tamad lang ako mag leave sa office at tamad din pumila kaya ayan sa Pedia na lang

Sis iloveshimmer medyo nalito ako sa price ng PVC na offer mo. On your 1st post you said it's just 1,500. Then on another post 3,500.  Ano ba talaga?

^sis, magkaibang strain ng bacteria ang cover ng PCV, merong 13 at 23... yung PCV 13 ang P3,500.

Correct si sis @bluish_mommy, yung PCV 13 (Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine), brand name Prevnar ang P3,500.

2700 ang doctor's pulling price sa PCV 13 (Prevnar). Thats how much my pedia charges me. Yung Rotateq and 6 in 1, i dunno if how much individually pero I pay 3500 for both, yes both not each. She's a friend so she doesnt make tubo if she does very minimal lang siguro. She gives that price to me only. So at least you girls would know if makatao ba yung patong ng pedia niyo sa vaccines.

Open din my pedia for me to go to health centers. Some of her patients do that daw. Pero I dont want to line up na at baka mahawa din baby ko sa kung ano man sickness sa dami ng tao. Eh pag sa clinic ng pedia ko I usually we are the first patients of the day kaya iwas hawa. And yun nga she doesnt really make patong na sa price so very good deal na.
