Been to El Nido last week, and up until now I still can't get over the beauty of this place! Truly a must visit. We are so lucky to have this in our country. When we went there, and daming foreign tourists and I realize they were willing to travel that far just to get to El Nido, eh tayo pa kayang pinoy nasa bakuran na natin ang paraisong ito. Aside from that, I love El Nido town and the people there! So far in my experience, all the people I encountered were so warm and courteous. I know there's no need for comparison but unlike Boracay where tour operators/vendors are very agressive  to tourists (maglalakad ka lang sa Bora hindi mo na mabilang ilan ang mag-aalok sa yo ng kung ano2x), the people of El Nido town are very laid back.. They don't invade your space. Basta kakaiba ang scenery sa tours. Sabi ni bf parang sa avatar daw. lol.

All set na kami for el nido I reserve the native cottage sa Marina for 990/night. Di nga lang aircon pero pwede na din
I also texted Northern Hope Tours for Island hopping, 1k each person for each tour.

^sis kami baligtad experience. Hindi ganun ka-warm yung mga locals samin unlike sa bora na mdami nga vendors pero friendly naman lahat ng naencounter namin. Tapos sa island hopping namin sa bora talgang tour guide ang dating ng mga boatmen. Sa El Nido, pag di kami nagtanong, di man lang sasabihin name ng island. Well, the beauty of the place made up for it naman.

^Sorry to hear about that sis, siguro nagkataon lang din talaga. But I agree with you, iba ang beauty ng lugar na ito. I just can't wait to come back. Ipon2x na naman! For those looking at accomodations, we stayed at Dayunan Tourist Inn. Booked them through Agoda for 2k a night, good for two. The only con for me is the tiny bathroom but other than that, we had a great experience here. It was within the town proper but located at a much quieter side.. Away from the noise and crowd at the town but easy access to the beach where you converge for you island hopping tours and have dinner at night by the beach. Nice, clean rooms and they also have a decent rooftop where you can view the bay

^sis do they have generator ba? Or better if I ask kung nawawalan pa din ba ng kuryente sa El Nido from 6am to 2pm ba or 3pm? Hehe 2 years ago pa kasi kami nagpunta dito.

^^yes sis, wala pa din electricity from 6 to 2pm unfortunately, walang generator yung accomodation namin but i didn't mind kasi whole morning til afternoon we're out island hopping.

haha posting in this thread made me reminisce about El Nido na naman.. nakakamiss.

ok naman yung marina. beachfront and affordable. ang comment ko lang, medyo nasisikipan ako sa rooms (yung non-beachfront yung kinuha namain) na supposedly good for 4 pax perl parang kapag nilagay namin yung second exgtra mattress eh wala na kaming dadaanan. i'm not sure kung ganun din sa beachfront rooms nila.

saka mabagal sila magserve ng breakfast. =)

masikip din ang rooms sa beachfront.

for food, i can recommend Marber's for their steak with mushroom sauce. el nido art cafe for dessert

El Nido - May 24-27

Mataas na nga ang standard rates ngayon sa island hopping.
Tour A - 1200
Tour B - 1,300
Tour C - 1,400
Tour D - 1,200

Tas wala ng "combi tour" PERO merong "special trip" para sa mga magrerent ng private boats. Eto yung ginawa namin, pinuntahan namin Snake island (tour B), Big/Small Lagoon (tour A), Matinloc Shrine (tour C), Helicopter at Papaya islands. 

Dun pa din kami sa Northern Hope tours nag-avail. Kahit may standard rates, nagbibigay sila ng discount depende kung ilang tours ang iaavail nyo sa kanila. Just ask

We stayed at Overcomer Lodge. spacious yung room at CR, pero like every accomm in El Nido, namamatay ang aircon by 6AM. hehe

San tour kaya mas advisable at mas maganda na gamitin ang underwater/waterproof camera Sa tour A or tour C? Because we rent waterproof for 1 day only. @riandrew ok ba ang personnel at tourist guide ng Northern Hope kasi sa kanila rin kami kumuha, we will be there next week.Ok ba ang weather doon?

try Altrove it's a pizza place. you have to be there maybe around 6pm kasi that time magsisimula yung pila. if ever, do not be discouraged sa paghihintay sa pila. worth it naman. art cafe is also good. =) umiwas na kami sa mga buffet kasi sa island tour puro isda and seafood naman ipapakain sa nyo.

for me ha, tour A yung sa Helicopter island. buhay ang corals!

yes super gusto ko yung service ng Northern Hope. guide namin si Darwin, tas pati bangkero nalimutan ko names, ok na ok din. mga palabiro. hehe

^mukhang maganda ang Cadlao pero hindi pala maganda ang beachfront.
