Do you celebrate your anniversary with your kids?
« on: May 09, 2013, 01:50:45 pm »
Hello mga sis, this is my dilemma right now if i will let my daughter come with us on our 5th year wedding anniversary. My friends told me that it should between me and my hubby dapat muna so we can have time na kami lang dalawa.

We are planning to celebrate it in one of the luxurious resort in Batangas, so parang half-hearted akong iwan ang little girl ko kasi gusto ko makasama din siya. Plus i am thinking na i am pregnant naman so di rin kami makakapag super loving loving ni husband so puwede ko siyang isama, kaya lang if dalawa lang kaming ni hubby we can get intimate and "talk" about future plans or anything.

Kasi last anniversary naman sinama ko si little girl, ayun nag alaga lang ako. haha parang nakaka guilty kasi iwanan. :(

but then again, its just me. might be different sa iba.

whatever your decision is, i support you! pero malamang pag di mo isasama baby girl, you won't be complete. look at you now, confused. LOL.

Given a choice, I would want at least once or twice in a yr couple time - at isa nanga dyan ang anniversary ninyo.  Then syempre, may annual outing and vacation din as a family. Nasa sa mag asawa na what they prefer.

its really hard to decide.. kasi last time na anniversary namin, sinabi namin si little girl, tapos medyo naiinis ako kasi
gising ako madaling araw kasi she wants milk, she will pee. tapos nasabi ko kay hubby, next year ha? kung tayo lang aalis
tayo nalang, this is supposed to be our anniversary pero nag aalaga lang ako. hahaha hubby is just smiling.

^ that is also a good idea na alternate. this year solo muna kayo in your anniversary then next year with your kids uli since you'll have a new baby by then. then as they grow up, separate na yung lakad nyo na mag-asawa lang then iba yung with the kids. you can make your trips shorter na lang para hindi kayo ma-paranoid sa pag-iisip sa mga babies nyo.

Sis, you only celebrate your anniversary once a year. I suggest you take advantage of this time na lahat ng attention mo nasa husband mo lang.

It is very important to keep the romance alive para sa ikatatagal ng pagsasama niyo.

I used to do that, too, sinasama mga bata sa mga anniversary getaways namin. Until I realized, anniversary nga ba namin o family outing? Kasi wala ako ginawa kundi asikasuhin mga bata.

Even my husband, although di naman pa-complain, parang nagpahaging na wala naman ako naging time for him.

So now, pag anniversary namin and we go out of town, talagang kami lang.

Even my kids, natatawa ako kasi they know na. Pag malapit na anniv namin, they go, "Mom and Dad's anniversary's near na, we're gonna sleepover at lola's house na naman!" :D

pa share :)

to answer the question, YES we do bring our kids along. ewan ko ba, naku-konsyensya palagi kami
specially si husband , pag aalis kami without our kids. we're married for 12 years na, and lagi , as in
lagi namin kasama two kids ko. hindi kami makapag enjoy withoiut them

pero, this year, for our 13th year, first time namin mag out of the country to celebrate our 13th year.
sa singapore. and husband and i agreed not to go to universal studios dahil super lalo kami magi-guilty

i wish we could do that, leave the kids for a day man lang just to celebrate our anniversary. but since nobody could take care of them while we're away, nganga na lang kami pareho for now :D

Most of the time, yes, we celebrate with them.We usually go abroad for a long weekend.

But there has been 1 or 2 anniversaries that we left them behind with my lola.  I think that was when 1 or 2 of them was too young (below 1 year)  to bring along on a transatlantic flight.

But there really shouldn't be any guilt about leaving them behind.
You would know if you and hubby need space and alone time from the kids.
After all, what  is that to them?  I mean, it isn't as significant an event to them as it is to you both.

Yes, everytime. Not just with our kids but we celebrate with our families and close friends. Naghahanda kami. Yun ang nakagawian namin. But we also go out (on dates and out of the country trips) as a family or just as a couple from timje to time, hindi kailangan ng occasion.

Depende sa couple, if you feel na need nyo ng time alone ni husband, go ahead. Especially now that they're older, pinipilit ko na minsan sumama (9 & 10 yrs old) minsan ayaw na talaga. :)

2 years married and yes, we bring our daughter along.
1st anniv namin, kakapanganak ko lang and umuwi si hubby so nag-mall at kumain lang kami sa labas.
2nd anniv namin, naghotel kami with our daughter and had a wonderful time together. We wouldn't change a thing hanggang sa pagtanda. We will always do everything and celebrate everything together. :)
