May Class, Cash at Car dapat si Guy
« on: May 06, 2013, 11:38:01 am »

They say to get to New York girl, Then you gotta have a LOT OF CLASS
And I heard there ain't nothing like a Cali girl, But you better have a LOT OF CASH
...
They say, to get a MIA girl, Then you gotta have a LOT OF SWAG
I heard, to get a Down South Belle, Then you gotta RIDE A CADILLAC

this is the sad truth.. money talks talaga.. sa panliligaw pa lang makikita mo na ang differences ng mayaman sa hindi.. parang unfair na sa ibang guys na hindi pinalad sa buhay.. what do you think?   ???

^Meron din namang guys na choosy, they would prefer pretty, younger girls.  So the same logic (guys prefer hot girls while girls want moneyed guys) applies to both sexes.

We are all born equal to become unequal. One must just know one's selling points and work with that.

IMO, side comment:  cash does not necessarily bestow class on someone.
Puede class ka, even without much money.

eventually, kelangan ma convince mo ang girl na you have a lot going for you, may potential ka for the long run.  Not necessarily potential to become a Tonyboy Cojuangco --  basta enough potential na life will be reasonably good.

I will tell you something.  Most women, IMO, will go for guys who are masipag (not workaholics), quietly confident, lead balanced lives, have a good sense of humor, malambing, kind, considerate & easy to get along with.   Basta reasonably attractive (hindi puede only a face a mother could love ha).

yup, big boobs/sexy body sa girls = fat wallet/power/authority sa men

what aquacharly said about "ma convince mo ang girl na you have a lot going for you, may potential ka for the long run."
is also spot on

Hypergamy states that a woman seeks a man of higher status than herself for marriage. Nothing less, nothing more. It's
a "selected-for survival'' mechanism, just like us guys get attracted to girls that have bodies that are primed for
child bearing, women are hard wired to find men who can provide for and protect them.

well i don't think it's a sad truth. for me, women who are more into cash and cars will only drill a hole in our pocket, except nalang kung bottomless and wallet mo. IMO: if cash tops their list of values, malamang yun ang nakikita nila sa partner nila. if one day you go home broke, poof!

I assume na yung "class" na minention dito ay class = high social status and not more on class = classy personality/manner.

I know hindi lahat ng bagay sukatan ng pera, but there is also a sad reality that life is tough and people are getting more practical. Minsan kasi pag may "class, cash at car" yung guy, women think na he is a guy who has a control of his life = Indepent guy, which is an attractive factor for us women, and he is also someone who could lead us. Pero sana hindi naman yung tipong, matapobre. PERSONALITY is  definitely the major factor why women keep the relationship.

I've met guys who have all the 3 C's just mentioned here and to tell you the truth, most of them are disappointing. Puro yabang :P they usually ending up dating someone who is more likely like them (usually rich pretty spoiled brats) :p I sound so mean >.< If you are not a pushover girl, then definitely all the 3 C's won't really matter I guess.

I, myself, grew up and surrounded by blessed environment, but my family never tolerated having that matapobre personality. I have friends coming from different social status in life and what made me stay connected to them is not about the money but more on personality wise. Although, yung mom ko whenever I go on a date with a guy, she usually asks "May car ba yan para sunduin ka? Yayain ka sa date baka naman ikaw pa mag bayad niyan" LOL I don't think she is being matapobre but more on she is just making sure na I'm not going to meet someone who will just use me :p Sorry napahaba yung post!

Women should be careful din!
Hindi marunong mag work eh spoiled brat..

I like self made men more. Yung sariling sikap lahat. Yung hindi na spoil ng parents. Kasi yun kaya ka buhayin and bigyan ng maayos na buhay without complaining. If you're young and dating beware of the anak mayamans [textspeak!] iba jan spoiled masyado pag tagal nawawala ang yaman ang natitira nalang ugali.

^ditto!!! you couldn't have said it any better sis! turn off for me yun mga ang yayabang pero asa naman sa magulang. kahit papaano gusto ko may ambisyon sa buhay at kayang ipakita na he will be a good provider in the future.

anyway, hindi naman siguro lahat yun ang preferred. marami naman din simple lang ang gusto. basta golden rule din naman kasi, the guy should be able to find someone na at least kalevel naman nya ng lifestyle or somewhat at least equal sa kanya para hindi naman sya mainsecure or madiscourage. baka naman kasi notting hill ang peg mo or si anne curtis ang levelling ng gusto mo ligawan syempre highest level na yun naturally, they would want a man na same level or hihigit pa sa kanila.

I think women can demand or want a boyfriend with class, cash and car eh somehow dapat may ibubuga rin, otherwise, they can be labelled as a gold digger. So if the girl is one, pakapalan nalang ng mukha on how she can withstand that.

I would say it is still recommended to stay within your own class. Kaya maraming nagkakatuluyan din ng mga magkaklase kasi halos same tuition ang binabayaran nila, so almost same level ang pamilya/background.

A popular anecdote I'd like to share, not proven kung totoong CEO of JP Morgan nagsulat

A reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan to a pretty girl seeking a rich husband

A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:

Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?

I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here.
I’m 25 this year. I’m very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above.
You might say that I’m greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York.
My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married?
I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you?
Among those I’ve dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit.
If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden(?), $250k annual income is not enough.
I’m here humbly to ask a few questions:

1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the riches are only average-looking? I’ve met a few girls who don’t have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys.
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)
Ms. Pretty

A philosophical reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan:

Dear Ms. Pretty,
I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor.
My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I’m not wasting time here.
From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain.
Put the details aside, what you’re trying to do is an exchange of “beauty" and “money" : Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square.
However, there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can’t be prettier year after year.
Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It’s not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worse 10 years later.
By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a “trading position".
If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or “leased".
Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps.

signed,
J.P. Morgan CEO

Life isn't fair. And as for class amd cash isa lang masasabi ko

"Money cannot buy class. You only have cash"..

Ive known filthy rich people who doesn't have class at all. For me bakya sila umasal. If the girl is looking for these (cash, car and class) aba sumisigaw na ang sign "GOLD DIGGER AKO".. Bad ko no?

Bauty fades but breeding and character will always be the last thing a person can be proud of about himself/herself.

If you have money, then look for someone who also has. That goes for BOTH guys and gals.

Cash and class do not always go hand in hand. There are cases na may cash nga si guy pero napakacrass nya. Personally, I do not give a hoot if I have more money than the guy. As long as he has a job. Yung class, syempre who wouldn't want class? But that is something that can't be bought. May breeding kumbaga. Car naman, okay lang wala. Nabibili naman yan. Nadadaan sa pag-iipon. Ang problema eh kung brain ang wala. Haha. Patay na.
