and they said makakasave daw.. same same lang pala sila ng price sa  products abroad.. lol

^mas ok nga sis coz hindi ganun kalaki ang markup nila but i dunno how do they factor in the shipping charges and the import taxes with their selling price. some food items nga of s&r are much cheaper pa than in duty-free.

^ ya yung food service  lang nila.. yung most grocery items nila is priced like in abroad .. natawa na lang yung relative ko na nasa ibang bansa ..

Do the laundry detergents come out cheaper than say, Landmark or Market! Market?

Plan to buy liquid detergent at S&R, just need to know which are the good brands.

sorry sis pero hindi ko ma gets bakit natawa kayo. mas ok nga kung pareho halos ang prices here, and, say, in US di ba. that means kahit i-convert pa, 1:1 pa rin ang labas. That means hindi mahal if you think in terms of USD. kasi di ba dapat mag mahal nga ang products ng s&r dahil imported. kakaduda naman kung mag mura pa ang product dito kesa sa country of origin nya di ba?

yung sa akin lang kasi sis , I was saying to her mas makakasave kami sa s&r  because of 100p off 200p off then when i sent her the prices she said to me same lang naman..magpapadala nalang siya mas ok pa diba .. I know it's in  bulk but I can say mas makakatipid pa rin kasi in most local groceries if hindi naman imported products yung habol .. at nasa pag bubudget lang din ng binili yung paggamit

^ah oo nga sis padala na lang sya kamo at least direct pa di ba. kung pa isa isa lang naman, sa local groceries na. that's what we do also. pero yung mga items na palaging nirereplenish like tissue paper, downy and bath soap, sa s&r ko na binibili.

One question here, paano po magpa member sa SnR? puede rin kaya mag shopping kahit hindi member?

You just apply for membership. They have options - Business or Personal. May membership fee (900php yung business if I remember correctly) and you get to shop same day ng application mo.

Or, if you want to try muna, ask one of your friends na member already to get you in. Tapos, make sure to bring cash kasi kailangan same name sa membership card if you pay via credit card.

^^you can go in using their visitor's pass but you cannot buy nga lang since you're not a member.

I really think it was worth it being a member and was able to shop earlier. I spent Php 8,860.00 and with the load I got, it seems like I'm not going to shop for two months or more!

Tapos, make sure to bring cash kasi kailangan same name sa membership card if you pay via credit card.

i've shopped with my mom sa s&r who's a member and i'm not pero no issues about this. i use my credit card and different name sa membership card and ok lang naman. we usually go to the fort but once shaw opens, we will go there there.

It really depends on the cashier personnel. Yesterday I was at the Fort and the mother and daughter was ahead of me and the cashier lady insisted that it has to be the same credit card and membership card name that has to be punched.
