Nasa Pico de Loro kami this weekend. Based sa reviews i'm praying that our stay there would be worth it. My sister insisted on staying there. But after i read the reviews at tripadvisor for the hotel, I feel afraid for the expenses. Bawat galaw daw kasi may bayad. Yung pool at beach lang naman ang pupuntahan namin. Sana masarapan sa food yung mga kasama ko.

I want to visit this place for our anniversary kaso naguluhan ako sa rates between renting a unit and checking in sa hotel.  Baka hindi masulit kung overnight lang mag stay tapos wala pa kainan masyado.

^ nung nag tingin ako ng rates. Mura yung mga condo compared sa hotel pero may entrance fee pa pag sa condo titira. So kung madami kyo baka lalabas na mas mahal sa condo. May mga nakita ako na nagpaparent ng condo may mga magaganda yung pagkaka set up pero meron din na pinagkasya lang ang madaming beds. Nagmuka tuloy dorm room yung condo.
For me reasonable naman yung rates sa restaurant. Ganun din naman ang gastos namin ng family ko pag kumakain kami sa labas. Yung serving size ok lang din. Saka inasikaso naman kami ng mga waiters sa restaurant at bar kahit madaming tao. Polite at mabait sila sa amin.
Ang ayaw ko lang dun ay ang layo nya sa Metro Manila. Kahit walang traffic parang ang layo nya.
Ok naman yung view sa hotel. Sure it may not be the 5 star hotel that others are expecting but for me it was ok. Ibinaba ko kasi yung expectations ko kya di ako nadisappoint.

thanks sis coldsiren sa feedback.  sabi kasi ng office mate ko na nag tour doon, nagbayad daw sila 3500 per head all-in na may food na kasama pero sila ata nag luto sa condo unit na nirent nila.  Tapos group tour.  hindi ko na masyado na interview, pero maganda daw talaga to.  anyway booked other resort in Batangas, next time na lang si Pico

ang bagal ng service dito. wala akong maalalang inorder ko na nasarapan ako. hehe and as expected, mahal sya.

nway, went here thrice. member kasi friend ko then guest nila kami they're asking non members to pay 500 per pax i think. pangit naman ng sand lol

went to pico de loro with my sister and her 2 kids last april and stayed here for 3d/2n. booked the hotel online. spent around 27k, including all the food and water activities. service is ok, food is average, facilities are ok naman. unfortunately, unable to use the clubhouse by the beach kasi for member's only daw....

then, my sister bumped into an old friend of hers. they were staying in one of the condo's. they only paid 11k for 5 days. geez! way cheaper than what I paid. they found this deal daw from a website in the Philippines na known for buy and sell (forgot the name). they were able to bring their own food pa kaya they really saved a lot... too bad that I didn't know about this.. oh well..... but overall, it was good 3d/2n stay..

We went here last December before the new year. I love the place, super worth it pagstay-an. We searched lang din sa olx ng nagpaparent ng condo. I think we spent 2k+ each for 3D/2N for the condo rental, kasama na beach and pool. Yes pricey ang items dito, even foreigners who were vacationing there maririnig mong magugulat sa prices. Sa food nagdala lang kami ng mga lulutuin for the duration of our stay, since kumpleto na naman ng cooking items sa condo. Just bring extra plates and utensils if marami kayo.

Yun nga lang meron talagang mga areas na for members only. There are also other facilities like gyms, badminton courts, kids' playhouse, etc, but separate pa ang bayad. If you want a cabana sa beach meron ding payment na 600 for 4 hours. Sa convenience store din they will insist that you pay using cash card instead of cash, e we didn't avail of the cash card pa naman.

Sa pools very strict sila na swimwear or rash guard ang suot. Bawal cotton. For guys, di rin pwede basta any shorts dapat beach shorts talaga. For the gals, bawal din sleeveless kung di talaga swimwear (even though it's not cotton huh). So if you plan to go here, take note na proper attire sa pools.

Byahe via Cavitex mabilis lang din. I think 2 hours lang byahe namin from Manila.

Andami lang talagang babayaran but definitely maganda and relaxing yung lugar.

Sana merong new feedback sa kakagaling lang ng Pico de loro. Sa pagkakaintindi ko, kapag nagstay sa Pico Sands hotel wala ng bayad per head dba? Bakit dati nakita ko sa booking.com na aside from payment sa room na may iba pang payment para magamit facilities? Nalito ako bigla. Kung ganun lang din pala mas tipid mag rent ng condo.

We were at Pico de loro 2 weekends ago nung andito si pope Francis. We stayed in a condo for 2 nights. The place is nice and babalikan namin for sure. We all enjoyed the pool, my 2 boys plus their yayas haha. The beach is also nice.. My eldest enjoyed playing in the sand but no dipping in the water.  There's fish feeding just outside our condo building and it's also walking distance to the country club.

Mabagal nga service sa restaurant by the beach pero ok naman sa country club. Good thing we brought cooked food.. There's not much option for food if u are staying for 2 nights.

Yes, we paid the 1k something per head fee which is basically access to the pool and the beach. If u want to do other activities, may separate bayad pa Yan. But I'm not sure if the 1k per head waived if u stay in their hotel.

All In all, it was a good stay. i have 500 voucher valid Until March for use at pico de loro. It was given to me last week when we stayed in taal vista.. I'm giving it away since we cant squeeze in another trip in March. PM me..

We stayed in the hotel. We paid an additional 1k per room but that was consumable. Pwede sa hotel or resto gamitin. We did not pay an additional 1k per guest at the hotel.

the entrance fee is now P700 (from P500) for off-peak and P1200 (from 1000) for peak season.... Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are now considered as peak season unlike before... so kahit Feb pa lang and it's not even a holiday nung pumunta kami, we paid P1200 per head since that was Saturday...

We stayed last weekend sa hotel. 2 rooms, 7 kami. May 2500 per room na mandatory consumable. Beach and pool were nice, masarap ang mango shake, pizza sa restaurant, and mac and cheese. Other than those three, wala nang masarap. Yung breakfast sa Lagoa (country club) walang lasa. Walang lasa yung bacon, scrambled eggs. Yung danggit sobrang alat, mas maalat pa sa dagat.

Tapos, meron pang nag-charge sa room namin ng buffet dinner! Tapos sabi pa nung nagccheckout daw kami, eh naka-charge daw samin (mukhang ayaw pa maniwala ng staff). Sabi namin, ayan o, kita niyo namang dalawa yung dinner diyan. Alangan naman nag-dinner na kami sa hotel, mag-buffet pa ulit kami sa Country Club? Buti andun yung manager, pinatanggal niya.

Medyo hindi ko feel yung service sa Pico. Alam nilang may 3 extra persons based sa reservation (online) namin tapos hindi man lang nila prinepare yung extra amenities.

Checking out is a hell, expect it to take 30 minutes, ang haba ng pila tapos ang bagal ng system nila.

Oh, and ang bagal ng wifi nila, not something you would expect from the price you pay.

The rooms are very nice though, and ayun nga, yung pool and beach. Yung service lang and yung food, naku talaga.

^kami nakuha namin room 4k per night plus Php 1200/head para sa use ng swimming pool and locker. lahat ng gagamitin mo sa pico de loro may bayad including beach towels. nagdala na lang kami cooked food tapos nireheat sa microwave. (peak season kami nagpunta)
