Tell your Mom to keep the receipt ng excess baggage nila.

Call their hotline and tell them what happened and ask saan ka pwede magcomplain and to refund yung binayad ng Mom mo.

We always travel in group so group check in din kami lagi and we never encounter naman na sinigil kami ng excess baggage ng cebu pac or other airlines.

From cebu pac website - "Passengers may not pool their Prepaid Baggage Allowances for Checked Baggage unless they are booked under one (1) record locator and check-in at the counter at the same time.  "

Mga sis, they did not refund at all. My mom complained in kalibo airport and manila airport, cebu pac insisted that they should be charged excess baggage fee. So aggravating....

It is clear naman that group check-in is allowed if booked under 1 record locator.

^I'm wondering about that too kasi hindi naman basta-basta maniningil ang airline ng excess baggage kung within allowance ka.

^^sis, sana nga your Mom asked for an explanation bakit sila siningil ng excess baggage. Meron bang binili sila na pre-paid baggage with the promo tickets?

Hi sis. I'm bound for SG. I only have carry on baggge.

Can I bring tuyo, dilis, and 3-in-1 powdered coffee?

How about sukang iloko? Does the 100ml LAG restriction apply?

sis, can you help me how to "pack" yung dilis at tuyo? I never tried bringing delicacies kasi even for domestic. Worried pa ako kasi carry on lang meron sa akin this trip.

Ayaw ko sana ng tupperware kasi mabigat, or is it my best option? Or foil and ziploc?

Yung sukang iloko cross out na talaga yun. hehe

^ haven't really tried for carryon, but for checked-in packaging (na kasama ng clothes namin so balot talaga ng maayos) -- we used plastic, then newspaper, then plastic again. Sometimes, we put them pa after in a microwavable plastic container. Di bale na makapal ang balot basta di lang mangamoy, hehe.. we brought before, danggit and dried pusit to SG and Dubai.

I was able to bring adobo and TJ hotdogs from SG to MY. Basta ibalot mo lang mabuti sa newspaper and plastic or zip lock. If in case naman na di talaga nakalusot, be prepared na lang na iwan sha sa airport  :)

^ sumagot din ako sa other thread, sis. Hehe..

Anyway, my suggestion is: bring 1 can of milk sa check-in baggage, then sa handcarry, dala ka formula na enough for the flight/travel/waiting time, tantyado mo naman every ilang hours sya nagmi-milk e. Feeling ko masyadong madami if good for one month pa dadalhin mo.
