I was once an employee earning 50k/month but not enough. So i looked for a part time business opportunity. Its really hard balancing and making time for the two. But when I was earning not just triple but quadruple of my salary. I resigned and focus on my business. What's good is hawak ko oras ko.

Right. 
In our employment contract, it is even clearly specified  activity of any nature whether it is of a business/charitable nature  that is not connected to our company's business conducted within any of our offices or other business properties &/0r utilizing any company property --  merits immediate employment termination.
Other companies may allow sidelines with co-employees, we don't; & we make it very clear from the start.

On-line marketing is a ready option nowadays.
Puede din consultancies, tutorials.
A lot are into network marketing. But be careful.

my husband has an online biz, since ako ang lumuluwas ng maynila. I do the meetups after my work bago ako umuwi. AKo din madalas bumibili ng supplies niya during lunch

Hi mga Sis! Full Time Employee din ako & ang sideline ko is yung pagiging dealer ng Avon. Every Saturday ko pinaiikot ang brochure ko sa area namin & minsan kapag nakauwi na ako may pupunta sa bahay hihiramin yung brochure or magtatanong if may bago ng brochure. Every Sat din ang pick-up ko ng order or friday (mas maaga kasi ang out ko sa ofc pag friday... As of Now ok naman sya for me, mas madami ng umo-order kasi mas marami ng nakakaalam na Authorized dealer ako. Sabi nga ni Husband maglagay ako ng products ko sa Sari Sari Store ng parents ko para alam ng tao. Akala ko nga hindi ako susuportahan ni Hubby dito eh! pero nung nakikita nyang nakakatulong si Avon sa amin  kapag nagigipit kami ayun sinuportahan nya ako.
