part-time lang or sidelines lang gaya ng small lending, direct selling, etc

konting effort lang, magugulat ka na may opportunity pala talaga sa ganun, hanggang sa lumalago lang sya everyday.  ngayon naghahanap na ako ng pwesto para sa DS business ko.

wala pa lang makuhang magandang space.  8-5 lang ang work ko, walang OT at walang work sa weekends.  full time mom din.

time management.  madalas kasama ko ang mga bata sa pag-pick up ng items ko for DS.  letting them know and feel the business.

I have a fulltime work at the hospital plus sideline din na online shop. Medyo ngaragan lang talaga.
Mahirap sa una pero masasanay ka na rin. Basta magset ka ng isang araw for your stocking day... Dun mo aayusin lahat.
Then yun isa mong rest day/day off, para sayo na dapat yun.

Tignan mo kung kaya mo isabay yung mga meetups mo sa schedule mo. If 8-5 ang work mo, you can do meetups within the vicinity of your place.
You have to be honest with your clients na may fulltime job ka. Mahirap kase yun bibigyan sila ng false reassurance.

Sa shipping naman, bago ako matulog, inaayos ko na lahat. Ipapack ko na lahat in advance para wala na akong poproblemahin just in case bayad na. Free din naman kase yung mga pouches from Xend.

Start with a goal then devise a work plan and commit to it.  There's no right or wrong way to start a business while having a full time job for as long as you focus to get your desired results.  There might be less painful and shorter ways to get there but don't spend too much time pondering on how to do it right.  Just do it!  You'll learn things along the way.

Here's what works for my hubby and I:
-Start by writing your goals.  Not just goals, but goals that excite you and push you to take action.
-Identify the tasks needed to accomplish these goals.
-Break the tasks into smaller tasks that can be done in 3 hours or less.
-Before going to bed, write your TO-DO list for the next day.
-Set aside 3 hours a day to work on your business.  If that means waking up and/or staying up late, then do it.
-Do only the important things.  If you've decided to work on your business before going to the office, then stay focused in accomplishing the items in your TO-DO list.  You didn't wake up at 4am to chat with your kumare who's in a different timezone.
-Don’t procrastinate. It’s okay to fail and better if you fail fast so you’d still have time to fix it.

Most importantly, commit long-term to find and build your sweet spot in the business arena.  Don't start a business and quit after 6 months thinking and telling everyone that business is not for you.

employment and part time business at the same time, present! just before i got married ito na ang nasa sistema ko. i have obligations so i need extra source of income, i do reselling and wholesaling. madami na din ako items na naibenta thru wholesale and retail. mas ok sa akin ang wholesale kahit di kasing laki ng kita sa retail or resell, kasi mas limited ang time na nacoconsume ko at makakapagalok pa ko ng iba ko pang mga items. medyo nag lie low ako when we started the preps for the wedding after ng event i went back pero paunti unti nlng not as ratsada like before hehe...

right now may mga items pa din ako for retail and wholesale, dried pusit, native slippers, eload, jewelry set (my newest item), etc. advantage din yung may work ka if you want to market your products. konting bulong bulong sa mga officemates pag breaktime so the following day deliver na ng products hehe.. ganun lang until such time na lalawak na yan and hahanap hanapin na tinda mo. time management lang talaga, minsan matrabaho pero pag determine ka talaga you will find time to do all this.

I am a full time employee and I just recently started my small business. I love baking, kaya eto narin yung pinili ko na pagkukunan ng extra income ko. Nagsimula lang ako ng pa-bake bake tapos puro patikim, may mga officemates akong gusto umorder, so ginawa ko I took their orders starting muna with one type on the menu. So during that weekend bumili na ako ng mga gagamitin para sa packaging, boxes, stickers for logos at ribbons. I baked them sunday at nadeliver ko ng monday sa work. Nasarapan sila at dun na nagstart na inalok ng iba sa ibang kakilala at kumalat na lang sila na umoorder sakin.

I was once an employee earning 50k/month but not enough. So i looked for a part time business opportunity. Its really hard balancing and making time for the two. But when I was earning not just triple but quadruple of my salary. I resigned and focus on my business. What's good is hawak ko oras ko.

Since 2009 pinagsasabay ko na ang full-time job at sideline biz! Before it was an online biz then nagopen ako ng actual shop sa Davao but after a year, my
misunderstanding kami ng father ko (he owned the land where the shop was in Davao), so pack up ako at nagconcentrate na lang sa online biz.

Kaya naman syang pagsabayin! But it will entail sacrifices, eto mga lessons learned ko from the four years na pinagsasabay ko (until now!) ang work at biz:

1. Sa biz, hindi pwede yung saka mo lang sya gagawin pag may time ka. Be prepared na mauubusan ka rin talaga ng oras for yourself, specially while
you are just starting.  Pwede naman yung pagfeel mo lang magbenta, saka ka magbiz, pero it will not payoff and most likely magsasawa ka rin.  The adage that
when you run your biz you will be the master of your time is NOT TRUE at least while you are still establishing a biz.

2. Once established na or may routine ka na sa biz mo, know which part of the biz do you like the most, then outsource the things you hate doing! This is very important as
it frees up your precious time and allows you to do that which you love.  Ako, I hate yung mechanical steps ---issuing invoices, giving pricequotes, uploading new stocks and inventories,
and because I'm based abroad, I need someone to ship the packages to clients in Pinas.  All these hated jobs I passed on to a relative whom I trained para bawas sakit ng ulo at I'm
free to do the side of the biz na I love most: looking for new stuff to offer to clients :-)

3. Start small. Wag grand scale agad, kasi masakit malugi ng bongga.  You can aim to be big but start at a manageable level first, because chances are you will make mistakes and encounter
failures as you learn the ropes of running your biz.

4. Most important:  Wag dadalhin sa office ang biz (unless nagbebenta ka sa officemates mo). Pero I know of a colleague who so blatantly ran his biz while at the office. He was fired. So be careful, try
to separate your rackets with your day job :-)
