personally I have never been to gardens by the bay pero malapit na lang ito sa mbs....I believe if extra sipag ka you can walk this too.

daytime view deck entrance for altitude 1 is mga $25++ can't remember pero maghanda ka ng $30. best pa rin if you visit during night time for spectacular views while drinking mojitos and sabihan mo yung mga pinoy waiter na bakasyon ka lang at para bigyan ka ng discount... hehe. oo nga pala if night time ka punta may entrance fee and with 1 drink yata. just check sa website.
ako kase kinaibigan ko yung mga pinoy dun so free entrance me with my friends and discounted pa ang orders namin. if super good mood sila then they give me some more extra food or drinks...hehe basta masarap dun at masaya. drinking while chatting with your friends and may live music pa. kaya lang ni loloko ako dun ng mga waiters because everytime i'm there it always rain. tuloy, yung view mga 2 hours ko lang na gamit then pinabababa na kame sa bar.. hehe...pero super enjoy ito...worth it and ganda talaga ng place. 360 view talaga na you are on top of sg

yung pamangkin ko date hindi naman siningil. basta more than 90cm may ticket na pero base from our experience it really depends kung sino yung driver...hehe basta pagdating mo dito sa change airport mrt ask the the control station and they will decide whether you buy him a ticket or not.

no problem sis. years na kase me nagwowork sa raffles place kaya alam ko na ang pasikot sikot and that walk tour I've done it several times with our bisitas. as in mas lumiliit lalo ang sg. hehe lahat malapit na lang

phantom of the opera need to buy asap na yan pag may confirmed flight na kayo. nagchecheck nga ako kung may corporate rate sa company ni hubby eh because I want to see it also and yes masmura dito. I've seen several shows na sa mbs and worth it naman. just this may we watch with my mom "dirty dancing" sulit and masmura dito kesa sa pinas.

must try food in sg are:
bakwa (fragrance or bee cheng hiang)
all noodle dishes like hokkien mee, ban mian etc (kahit sa foodcourt mo lang ito bilin sobrang sarap because the noodles are handmade and fresh)
cereal prawn
chili and black pepper crab (no signboard or sa jumbo or kahit sa local eatery foodcourt ang sarap na nito)
famous chicken rice (white or roasted)
roasted pork rice
cha siew rice (parang tocino)
ok din sa marche (a bit pricey lang) food court concept sya with international food inside. upon entry they will give you a card then keep it because eveytime you order they will register it in your card. upon checking out then that's the time you will pay.

nasi biryani
ice kachang
chendol
my fave soursop desserts and mango sago pomelo desserts
best to have a foodtrip inside a foodcourt because almost everything are there. Basta try try lang.

^Ay tama. Gusto ko din ang Mango Pomelo Sago dessert. Sa AMK Hub branch ng Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert pa lang ako nakatry niyan.

Pati pala Bak Kut Teh type ko din. Parang nilaga minus the veggies. And cereal prawn! Tama! Yung caramelized bun sa chili crab lang ang habol ko sa chili crab haha. Sarap siya with the crab sauce. Madalas din kami sa Marche (313 Somerset) kasi eto yung branch nila na may playground. I can just leave my son there while I dine with friends

^ I love bah kut teh din.. pero yung kuya and SIL ko di nila feel kasi me distinct taste sa sabaw.

Pag nabalik ako SG will try the Marche in Somerset.. sa Vivo kami madalas nagsa-Sunday brunch with friends or with visiting family before. Recently e di na kami nagma-Marche kasi madami na din ibang dining choices..

I miss stingray na ... di kami nakakain nung anjan kami last November.. tsaka I wonder if meron pa nung Indonesian eat-all-you-can sa The Rice Table sa may Far East in Orchard. Super-favorite ko din to.

Yay! Excited nako magfoodtrip! May marche dito jakarta so other type of food na lang siguro. I love cereal prawns! Hehe. I've tried both sa no signboard and jumbo. kakamiss! Will definitely try the rice dishes and noodles. Kakatakam.

^dessert places: Honeymoon desserts and Mei Heong Yuen. You'll never go wrong with these 2. Mei Heong Yuen only has 2 branches... Ion Orchard basement 4 (selections are limited) and their main store at Chinatown.

pinksuman, I won't recommend walking from MBS to Gardens specially with the weather right now na super init... Pagdating ng Gardens by the Bay super haggard na for sure specially if hindi sanay sa lakaran. For BakKwa, the best ang Lim Chee Guan. Si Bee Cheng Hiang kasi meron sa HK and hit or miss din cya, there are times na it's too sweet and the meat is tough. Although there are only 2 stalls of Lim Chee Guan islandwide... Ion Orchard b4 and Chinatown (just right beside MRT station along Northbridge Rd.)

dandoloup, regarding makeup/bags/shoes/clothes, baka lang type mo suggestion ko. Sa Watsons ang mga binibili ko na products ay Hada Labo, Avene, Revlon lipstick, Bio Oil for stretch marks, Renew rosehip oil, and Maybelline eyeliner. You might want to visit Watsons diyan muna sa atin to list the prices para macompare mo kung mas mura dito. For brands na nasa list na wala sa pinas, you might want to research muna baka sakali you're interested. On clothes, I frequent m)phosis, promod, uniqlo for jeans and underwear, Zara and Mango kapag sale like ngayon na GSS, Levis for jeans and sometimes Red2. Shoes wala akong steady store na binibilhan. Ok na siguro sa Takashimaya Department store and the like

...just booked our phantom tickets at sistic.. i received a confirmation email from then, and was given options how the tickets will be delivered...i opted to just pick up our tickets at MBS theater ticket booth an hour before the show starts..

mga sis, pag sinabing GST included, does it mean discounted na?

btw sa mga pupuntang sg please note that august and September maraming road closures due to national day and F1. check nyo na lang sa mbs website and sg grand prix website. mahirap kung nakataxi and bus so better bet is to use mrt na lang.

sis pinksuman, oo nga..medyo in panic mode naman kasi ako when i read here that tickets are fast selling daw, kaya talagang minadali ko na..haha! so far sa preferred dates ko naman, dami pang seats available. i picked the 8pm show para maraming pang magawa in the morning.. sinama ko ang dalawang tweenies ko,, sana magustuhan din nila..

pag magstay ka ba sa place ng friend mo sa SG what do you have to present sa IO natin?

Meron kasi akong reservation for my first night pa lang then biglang sabi ng firned ko from SG na dun na lang ako magstay sa kanila. Kailangan ko ba ng invitation letter or ID niya or sabihin ko na lang sa IO, *like pretend* na walk in na lang ako sa mga hostel dun sa succeding nights ko kaya 1st night lang meron ako?

dandoloup, you can't get a GST refund for your Phantom tickets kasi hindi kasama ang theatre tickets sa GST refunds.

entwife, you don't need to show anything to the IO except for your plane ticket and passport. They normally ask lang naman for your agenda kung topakin man ang IO to ask. And if you're been to a number of places already, they don't ask. Singapore is part of ASEAN and all you need is your passport and plane ticket.

^^wala naman sis, ako lagi akong nag-stay sa flat ng ex ko pag pumupunta ako sa SG noon. never naman ako hinanapan ng docs. basta lagay mo lang address & phone ng friend mo, baka mag-random check kaya dapat totoo yong ilalagay mo sa embarkation card. kung may reservation ka na sa first night mo, pwedeng yong na lang din lagay mo & print mo yong voucher

Can you give me an advice as to our time schedule, nakita ko kasi sa go there, ang layo pala ng changi point from singapore zoo mga 99 minutes by train and bus..We need to be at MBS to pick up our tickets at least an hour before the show starts...

Oh and it depends also on what time you finish going around the Zoo and I won't recommend taking the bus kasi super sayang sa oras. It'll take more than 1hr to commute going to the zoo if you're coming from city area.
