^Meron sha sis sa airport pero sa MRT changi station.  I'm not sure why you prefer bus over MRT?  Kasi its the same price lang naman unlike sa MY and HK and JP na mas mahal ang train to city.  Likewise, if its over midnight, there aren't bus around as well as MRT.  You're best bet pag midnight is the S$9 bus shuttle to city hotels which accepts cash not Ezlink.

^balak kasi namin sis yung airport shuttle to city na S$9 per adult sa hotel mismo ihatid as per Singapore airport website. we stayed before sa V hotel Lavender and baka dun uli kami mag stay kasi malapit sa mtr kasama kasi namin parents namin and mga kids. if airport mtr to city sis, madali lang din ba? Cebu pacific terminal 2 pala kami sis. thanks!

^Changi Stn and Lavander both in Green line.  So when you get to Tanah Mera Stn, tatawin lang kayo to your right (parang sa HK na tatawin lang to other line).

Although both are green line, may sariling path si Changi (Tanah Merah --> Expo --> Changi only!)  at may sarili namang path si tanah merah which is towards city (Tanah Merah --> Bedok --> Bugis --> Raffles Place --> Etc)

sis @rocky, 9 kami lahat, 6 adults kami including 2 senior citizen and 3 kids. last time kasi private shuttle ng Asiatravel ang sinakyan namin papunta sa v hotel.. una kasi namin prefer sana dumiretso sa Johor Bahru kaya lang may parents prefer na huwag na kami mag stay ng
Johor, sa Singapore na lang kami mag stay then mag balikan na lang kami SG to Johor. pupunta kasi kami puteri harbour for hello kitty and the big club.

mom_c, no not just asking kasi after a number of people answered the question may next hirit asking kung pwede makalusot moving on, I think your bet bet so far is the airport shuttle or taxi for the convenience of the kids and the seniors that you're going to travel with. I can't recommend the maxi cabs kasi max of 7 pax lang cya...

dandoloup, regarding makeup/bags/shoes/clothes, baka lang type mo suggestion ko. Sa Watsons ang mga binibili ko na products ay Hada Labo, Avene, Revlon lipstick, Bio Oil for stretch marks, Renew rosehip oil, and Maybelline eyeliner. You might want to visit Watsons diyan muna sa atin to list the prices para macompare mo kung mas mura dito. For brands na nasa list na wala sa pinas, you might want to research muna baka sakali you're interested. On clothes, I frequent m)phosis, promod, uniqlo for jeans and underwear, Zara and Mango kapag sale like ngayon na GSS, Levis for jeans and sometimes Red2. Shoes wala akong steady store na binibilhan. Ok na siguro sa Takashimaya Department store and the like

mom_c, son ko 4yrs old din. Hindi naman mahigpit sa MRT. Until now hindi siya sinisingil. A month ago nag inquire ako for child pass para magbayad na siya kasi lagpas na sa height requirement (90cm), sabi hindi pa daw need (Kahit na 96cm na siya). Pero alam ko need na. Pag sinita ako, saka ako bibili hahaha

entwife, kung mahilig ka mag food trip, ok for me ang Arab street lalo na if you are into Turkish food. Sa arab street din namimili mommy ko ng fabric. Sobrang mura. But like sis xtine said, nothing spectacular. Alley lang siya ng mga resto and bars. Starbucks meron free wifi din.

cutiepie, sayang nga hindi ako nakanood ng Phantom! Namahalan ako sa ticket. Ayaw din ng husband ko. Sayang yung experience. I have friends who watched this last night and nag enjoy sila. If you are into that, I bet mag eenjoy ka din. Sabi din nila na mas mura ang tickets dito compared sa Pinas.

My son loves the all time favorite Chicken rice na sabi ni husband sa Tian Tian, Maxwell Food Centre, Chinatown masarap. Laksa sa Katong Laksa. Mahilig ako sa Teh Tarik (Tea with milk), Roti Prata cheese and mushroom, Prawn Noodle (Hokkien Mee). My husband loves Laksa, Briyani Rice, Nasi Lemak, Satay, Stingray, minced meat noodles. So far iyan pa lang naiisip ko Hope this helps!

thanks sis yapeegurl, ask ko na lang din pag bibili kami ng child pass for my son, baka nga free pa din sya tulad ng son mo, sayang din kung buy agad ako and yung nephew ko same age sila eh 4 yrs old din kasama namin pagpunta  ng Singapore.. sa Hong Kong kasi naka libre pa sya mtr at airport express kasi di pa sya abot or lagpas sa entrance na pinag-tap ng card. 😊

mom_c, yup. Ask mo muna. Doon ako sa ticket counter (specifically sa Yio Chu Kang) nagtanong mismo. The lady refused to sell. No need pa daw. Which reminds me to try again this week. Sa bus naman isang driver lang (going to school kasi nagbu-bus lang siya) ang sumisingil sa kanya. Kapag natapat sa ibang driver, hindi tinatanggap bayad. Sa MRT never pa kami nasita. Pero gusto ko na talaga bumili kasi dapat na talaga based sa height requirement nila.

cutipie and sis GirlCrush, nag try ako mag mock book just now via sistic, July 31 at 8pm single seats na lang available and naka indicate na fast selling.

^^^sis cutiepie, I recommend that you buy tickets for the Phantom as early as you can. I bought ours the other day coz there are only few seats available on our preferred date this August. Tickets will be delivered to our hotel since they only mail tickets to a Singapore address.

^Mahirap kayo sis makabili ng Phantom of the opera lalo na pag weekend.  I highly suggest you book and pay under Sistic.com para sure ang seats nyo.  Hindi sha guaranteed ng seats pag dating nyo as maraming nanonood.  Even I and my friends are having a hard time booking tickets (or dahil hindi lang namin mafinalize when kami manonood. he hehe).

Also please check the National Museum, my sister and I got in for free on a sunday.  Not sure if its still the policy as recently, they made it free for PRs and Citizens ONLY.  I think the free on sunday is no longer applicable.

^ thank you so much for the replies. Is it also good to book it directly sa marina bay sands na website? Yung 95 sg$ worth na ticket lang sana gusto ko. hehe. Based dun sa website may available seats pa naman sa preferred date and time ko perovi think it's better to book na noh?

Ooh will check out kung free pa din pag sunday yung national museum. Hehe.
