Sis, ilovenaffy, yes.  Bili nlang kayo ng Ezlink sa 7-11 para mas mura then top up nalang kayo once you feel na kukulangin kayo.  On your first day, baka around S$5 ang magastos nyo granted S$.070 ang most of the time one way.  Also, if in case gusto nyo idispose, sell it to friends who will come here in SG.  Ako, i tell my friends who went here and bought ezlink cards to just keep it kasi they might need it someday.  When I went to HK for a vacation when I was still working in Manila, I bought the octopus card and never returned it kahit na may refund kasi alam namin na babalik at babalik din naman kami sa HK and the credits are good for 10 years naman.

I kept din my HK Octopus card.
kasi for souvenir na din and kapag babalik hindi na hassle na bibili pa ulit.  

I am thinking of using kasi sa free bus to USS. Kaya akala ko ok na yung 7sgd nung una. hehe 

I think, EZ link card na nga lang yung bibilhin namin  then top up another 10sgd na lang 

To give you an idea, Makansutra's chili crab (the crab is payat and much smaller FYI) is $30. No Signboard's is around $50-$60 per order but the crab is HUGE. Cereal prawn is around $16, the one we ordered at Makansutra is $12 yata and sorry but the shrimp used is small. We normally spend atleast around $200 for 4 pax. That's with rice, crab, prawn, veggie dish, and another dish na.

You can't compare Makansutra with No Signboard since Makansutra is a hawker centre but sorry for the Makansutra fans here but the food here deteriorated big time. It's not the same as before. I'd rather go to No Signboard since the price difference is not so much and I get what I pay for.

chubbelita, the Food Republic at Vivo is not as good as the one at Ion and Wisma (same lang sila) and it's also one of the filthiest FC 

yapeegirl, it's cheaper to order ala carte in NS... We never get their set menus and before we spent $400 but we were atleast 7. To give you an idea, we ordered atleast 3 crabs that time then coffee ribs, Cereal Prawn, Rice, then Kailan veggies.

newbie here... ask lang ko if cheaper to buy mga tops/blouses/dresses in SG than Manila? the likes of forever 21, mango, zara, etc..

How about Charles and Keith? are the prices cheaper in SG than here? regular prices not the promo sale items..

Thanks sis yapeegurl...so from Hotel, sakay kami ng Bus 124 to ION mall orchard. Is there a bus going to Novena MRT? mas prefer namin mag MRT in going around SG kaso nagkamali talaga ako ng booking sa agoda...

akireyhoj, GMA 7 ito ano? Sana mag tie up ang Starhub with GMA 7 din para kilala ko stars sa kabila. Puro ABS stars/shows lang alam ko hehe Hindi pa ako nakakapunta sa Adventure Cove. Sa August namin plan kapag dating ng mga visitors namin. Parang ang ganda sa pictures ng mga friends ko

jdabello, Matagal tagal na din akong hindi nakaka shopping sa pinas kaya hindi ako updated sa prices. Pero yung mga sisters-in-law ko kapag nagshoshopping dito, lagi sila pumupunta sa Charles & Keith. Sabi nila mas mura daw. And siguro ngayon dahil GSS, makakakita ka ng cheap Mango, F21, Zara items. Yung pinaka simple na shirt (razor back ata ito na plain color) ay around 9SGD.

RE: Charles & Keith, it's definitely way cheaper here compared to Ph! To give you an idea, the shoes that I've had my eyes on before I left for SG was selling for 1,9k in Manila. Then when I moved here, saw it selling for $39sgd only but eventually they put in on sale so I got it for $19 only Price is at least 30-40% cheaper... Sometimes even half Just avoid their bags and shoes, madali masira and mag tuklap yung leatherette

F21, MNG, Zara is more expensive here because of the exchange rate.

tammy1979, there's a detailed instruction at gothere.sg if you input the location where you're going to. For example, you type Fragrance Hotel Balestier to Ion Orchard, or Novena MRT. You just need to follow the instructions there, you can also zoom in the map to check the landmarks of the nearest bus stop where you're supposed to take the bus and alight

Saan ko kaya pwede maisingit yung Ion Orchard? Gusto ko kasi makita yung mall na yun and yung Sephora and yung Ice cream along Orchard road

And yung sinasabi nila na duty free BEFORE and AFTER immigration? What's the difference?

My nabasa din ako na 100 or 300 ml lang for hand carry? diba 1000 ml un? divided into 100 ml bottles. Paano kung may check in baggage, ok lang dun ko na ilagay lahat ng mageexceed diba?

^^ sis cinnam, parang ang tight ng day1 nyo, considering na 10am na ang dating nyo sa airport. Baka either Sentosa or MBS/Gardens/etc na lang kayo nyan.. if you choose MBS etc, bettrr siguro dinner nyo sa Makansutra na, para aling the way sa lakad nyo pa Esplanade/Merlion..

Then on day3, Singapore Zoo is usually whole day (or up to 3-4pm at least). Consider also na medyo malayo to sa city.

Re liquid handcarry, yes max100ml per bottle pag handcarry. The rest, pwede mo icheckin. Pwede mo palagyan ng "fragile" na sticker yung luggage if me mga breakables.

If meron ka tax refund na nasa checkin luggage ang items, make sure to drop by the tax refund counter before you checkin. Stores inside the airport, after immigration, are tax-free na. No need to claim refund for those.

Onga sis bagaholic chewy, tinitignan ko pa lang yung day 1, napapagod na ko hehe, dapat talaga 4 days ata. Hindi ko magive up yung adventure cove kasi gusto ko yung waterpark na puro slides, tapos yung zoo, gusto ko din makita yung kangaroo and other shows. :/ hay paano kaya....

Re: Adventure Cove, for me maganda sya. Madaming slides na pwedeng itry, may lazy river din, snorkeling area, and big pool with waves. Para syang pinaliit na splash island.

Yun nga lang, minsan mahaba talaga ang pila sa mga slides lalo na kung weekend/holiday. We'll be going there on Saturday ulit, sana hindi na madaming tao.
