tammy1979, I'd second the motion sa waste of time and money Kasi pareho lang siyang experience when you're in a public bus dito sa SG (Hop On Hop Off). As in bus lang siya na iikot around SG. Yung Amphibious Fun naman ay sa water. Meron din kasing water taxi sa Clarke Quay na lilibot around Marina Bay area. Pero mas enjoy lakarin yung area na iyon. Mainly Clarke Quay, Marina Bay, and Fullerton, Eslpanade view ka lang doon.

^Actually, sabi rin ng friend ko who took the duck tours, boring daw.  Mula sa merlion lang until sa may clark quay yung duck tours which is by the way walkable naman.

hi all, me and my son has tickets to SG this nov. 16-20. Mga magkano po kaya ang budget for 2 pax. my son is only 9 years old. Ako naman 28. My friend will treat us to legoland daw.

also may option kami to change the date of our trip. okay na ba yung 16-20? ^_^ wala lang. gusto ko lang matanong sayang opportunity to change it kasi.

Hotel - kahit hostel lang. basta may matulugan. (location near food area)
Transpo - willing to take bus/mrt
We are okay to eat anywhere. No fine dinings.
Tourist attraction: kids (legoland=free na from a friend in SG) & USS i guess?
No shopping. Basta happy ang son ko sa tour.
No prepaid sin card with 3G access.

I suggest you stay at YMCA along Orchard Road. IMO, affordable siya at super clean. Room rates include buffet breakfast. It is near Dobi Ghaut station (as in walking distance) na may interchange.

Super efficient ng train station sa SG. Talagang ma-engganyo ka to commute. We only took the cab papunta sa airport kasi dami namin dalang gamit.

Thanks sa mga feedbacks, skip na lang Duck tours, hehe..I stayed in SG for 40 days in 2008 pero di naman ako namasyal masyado at nilibot ko lang yng area ng Marina Bay at Esplanade..yung mga kasama ko kasi ang first timers kaya nag iisip ako ng magandang activity para sa kanila..

Btw, i got an affordable deal sa Fragrance Hotel Balestier, ask ko lang kung accessible ba to? Fully booked kasi ang YMCA hotel sa dates namin kaya I have to go for another option. Nung tingnan ko sa Map parang ang layo sa MRT, kaso non-refundable na sa Agoda.

^There are direct buses naman going to the city from Balestier... I suggest you download the app gothere.sg on if you have an iphone to help you check which bus you can take going to let's say Orchard or City Hall area

ang dami ng new attraction sa SG sis like USS, gardens by the bay, MBS nong last na punta ko kabubukas lang ng USS kaya di ako nakapunta kasi soldout lagi tickets

kikaygimikera, since you have a son in tow, maybe the most comfortable hostel would cost roughly around 100SGD per night. For your transpo for 5 days, roughly around 30SGD per person. Max 50SGD. USS per person costs 72SGD. Food at hawker centers or Kopitiam (Food Court) maybe around 7SGD per meal per person. I hope this helps.

tammy1979, Walang malapit na MRT station sa Fragrance Hotel sa Balestier. Closest na nakita ko sa map ay Novena MRT (Red Line). Pero meron malapit na bus stop. 120m away from your hotel. You can take bus 124 going to ION Mall sa Orchard

Cari, No Sign Board ay pricey nga sis. Nadisappoint nga ako sa caramelized bun nila (yung kasama ng chili crab) kasi ang liit na and hini na malinamnam. We normaly order their Set Meal. $440 all in good for 4 pax iyan. You'll be served with Yang Chow Fried Rice, Chili Crab with 10 buns, Lobster Salad, Mango as dessert, Shark's Fin Soup, and Lemon Chicken. Free flow and Chinese tea. Sa Makansutra naman, favorite ko orderin doon ang chicken wings and sting ray. Pricey din sa tingin ko pero malayo sa pagka pricey ng No Sign Board

Hello! Pa help please, Ask ko lang kung kasya na ba yung initial load ng ez link card na 7sgd for 3 days stay?

Ito lang naman ang itinerary namin:
Day 1- Arrival/ Shopping/ Flyer (Bugis and Orchard) last day of GSS
Day 2- Sentosa/USS/ Gardens by the Bay
Day 3 – City Tour- back to airport for our flight to KL at 8pm

^You cannot top up S$2.  Minimum top up sis is S$10.  Even S$5, hindi accepted ng mga machines pag bill reading.   Kahit through nets, minimum is S$10. 

^^I suggest mag tourist pass nalang kayo since three days naman kayo.  Hindi nga lang kasama yung S$3 sentosa entrance.  Kasi sa ezline, no need to fall in line kasi inaaccept yung ezlink.  Yung S$12 na Ezlink, ang pwede mo lang magamit is the $7 which is kulang sa there days.

ilovenaffy, too tight sis ang Day 2 ninyo. You would need 1 day each for Sentosa and USS. That is if mag rides and attractions kayo sa USS. Sa sentosa madami din kasing things to do doon. Usually ang nakakaubos kasi ng oras sa USS ay ang waiting time ng shows and pila sa rides. Sa Sentosa naman, ang nakakaubos ng oras ay waiting time ng bus to hop from one Sentosa point to another (siloso point, palawan, etc). USS and Sentosa are located in one island. Medyo malayo ito sa Gardens by the Bay. And same answer as our other sisses, kulang ang $7 for 3 days na ezlink load.

Iniisip ko kasi na parang hindi sulit yung tourist pass. What if mag EZ link kami ng 10sgd. Tapos loadan nalang namin ng another 10sgd. So 15sgd na yung load. Kasi nakalagay sa site nila na if you’ll buy sa 711 stores, 10sgd lang (5sgd card price and 5sgd credits).

Kung 15sgd ba kasya na? haha, Pasensya na mga sis ha, ganyan kasi ako magcompute, parang gusto ko laging sakto  or kung may sobra, or kulang konti lang 

Meron bang 711 sa airport na mabibilhan ng ezlink card?

Review na lang siguro namin yung Day 2 namin, pero I think kasi hindi naman kami iikot sa sentosa, parang USS lang talaga, nilagay ko lang ata yung sentosa kasi yung USS nasa same place ng sentosa.

Kahit ba Monday, grabe pa din ang queue sa USS? 

Siguro move na lang namin un Gardens by the Bay, sama nalang namin sa 3rd day late flight naman kami papuntang KL.  Thanks!

check out siloso beach resort, nice place.. sarap ng buffet breakfast at ganda ng pool haha. ang dami mo pa magagawa since you're inside sentosa. tapos they give you free passes sa monorail. so ang daling magcommute. i'll be goibg there this september again, hopefully same hotel ulit

sarap nga sa no signboard, love the white pepper crabs and chili crabls, steamed fish nila sarap din. almost all the dishes sarap.. kaso total damage was around $1000 (mas mahal pa sa ticket namin oh my) hahaha. pero love the food sarap ng!:)

i also love the foodcourt sa takashimaya, don't like yung sa vivo hehe.

ilovenaffy, ok din naman na EZ link na lang kayo then top up na lang kayo ng additional $10. Possible na magkasya na iyan since sa Day 1 ay Bugis and Orchard area lang kayo. Then Day 2 ay within Sentosa area lang. Yes meron 7-11 sa airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
