Nagkaroon ng sudden change of plan since sasama ang parents ko samin ni Bf ko, 4days/3nights sila while kami ay magstay ng one week dun, pero sabay sabay kami magpasyal para mas masaya. Ang gusto lang naman puntahan ni mudra ay yung USS, Sentosa, at Merlion, at magshopping.

With regards to Universal Studios SG and SEA Aquarium mga sis, kaya ba siya in one day? (weekday naman ang schedule naming na pumunta) Marami pa rin kayang tao? Mas okay ba yung sa AsiaTravel na may 2-way transfer sa USS? Or mas keri yung direkta sa RW pa rin? Please advise mga sis, I want the trip to go smoothly, kasi yung dad ko may pagkareklamador minsan. haha!!

Tapos yung Sentosa mag-allot ng one day din? (ano pa bang makikita dito aside dun sa Luge ride?)
**Meron na rin pala Merlion sa Sentosa ito mas malaki, ang napuntahan ko kasi way back 2008 ay yung may malapit sa Fullerton. Mas maganda na ba yung sa Sentosa nalang since pareho lang naman? Or baka mas okay pa rin Merlion Park? mas marami tao?

Meron bang entrance sa Sentosa yung tipong sight-seeing lang, tapos kung meron na activity na gusting gawin saka lang bibili ng ticket?

q-tee, mas maeenjoy ng bata ang Singapore Zoo. Sentosa kasi is more for adults. Weigh your options kung ano ang mas gusto ninyo. So far the only zoo that I've seen that can sort of surpass SG Zoo is the one in Chimelong, China

Apr 28- 12 pm arrived at Changi Terminal
                 Took our lunch at the airport. Then headed to Santa Grand East Hotel at nagpahinga na kaagad. We left kasi Batangas around 2 am for our 6 am flight which got delayed by an hour so pagoda na the first day pa lang. Come night time, we went for a walk sa malapit na mall which is katong 112 kung tama ang pagkakatanda ko.

Apr 29 USS/SEA Aquarium. Sobrang saya ng daddy at baby, sobrang pagod ang mommy  we got discounts pa sa ticket sa SEA aquarium, may promo sila for tourist. (But i totally forgot pwede nga pala mag purchase ng uss + sea tix, magkasama na discounted na rin ang price).

Apr 30 Gardens by the Bay, MBS, esplanade, merlion.   We were there for the first day of the tulipmania. alay lakad sg day.

May 1 halfday chinatown then headed PI at 5pm

As advised ng mga sisses dito, hindi jampacked ang itinerary namin kasi it would be stressful for my kid (and us, with the stroller and BIG bag for babys stuff) we somehow squeezed in visiting relatives and friends pa so ok na din.

_*q-tee*_ , I suggest you buy your sim card directly at Starhub/Singtel/M1 to make sure they carry micro sim cards. Yung 7-11 sa lucky plaza walang stock ng micro sim as of today. Nearest branch they recommended ay sa may Hilton Hotel pa.

Depending on what rides you want to go on or what shows you want to see yung USS. We can do USS til about 4. SEA Aquarium, kinaya ko siya ng 30 mins, LOL. Funny story later about my SG trip. Pero puro aquarium lang naman to, so siguro 2 hours max na. 1 hour kaya, unless gusto niyo talaga tumambay dun sa may malaking aquarium.

Sentosa usually one day. Entrance to Sentosa via Boardwalk is SGD 1.00 lang (pag monorail sa Vivocity, if I'm not mistaken mas mahal?). Rides (Luge, etc.) and shows (Songs of the Sea) for purchase pa ng ticket. Kung sightseeing lang, yung entrance fee lang babayaran.

Yung Merlion sa Merlion Park if I'm not mistaken ito yung "original". Yung nasa Sentosa ay pwede ka umakyat (you have to pay entrance), nakalimutan ko lang kung ano ginagawa dito haha. Kung 2008 last na punta mo, di ko sure kung may Marina Bay Sands na nun? Madami na ring nagbago eh. Kung maisisingit, pwede niyo naman isingit tong nasa FUllerton.

Okay naman yung may 2-way transfer sis, ganun ginagawa namin kapag mom ko nagbbook ng tours, my last trip (this week) with friends though, commute lang. Mahaba-habang lakaran, so prefer ko yung may transpo na

Nag-increase na ang price ng ticket sa monorail from Vivo City to Sentosa. Tag $4 na ngayon.

We've been in Singapore from Wed - Saturday:
Wed 9 pm arrived in Changi Airport, bought a sim card in the airport in a customer service, pinay yung staff so she told us the number to dial to get a cheaper call to the Philippines. She even gave my son a freebie . We also bought a USS ticket worth 68$ inclusding a 5$ meal voucher  , but if you'd buy directly in the USS ticket boot and show your passport, you'll get a 10% discount 74$ less 10%.
Arrived in Sentosa Hotel at 11 pm via taxi, I paid $28. We just showed our reservation to the entrance to waive the entrance fee to Sentosa.
Check-in na, and the hotel gave us three tickets for 3 day pass going in-out to sentosa, so free na yung monorail if going to Vivo city. The staff also gave freebie to my son.
Dinner at Din Tai Fung. Walked around The forum, festive walk, and lake of the dreams.

Thurs -swimming at the hotel's pool. went to Vivo City for breakfast. Sa food republic lang kami kumain. gala gala konti sa shopping mall, then we went back to Sentosa for Universal Studios. We spent few hours in there, just took few rides and we only took some photos to different attractions. My son was really tired and unwell so parang di nasulit ang ticket, anyway when we got back in the hotel, it rained! so tama lang paguwi namin
Dinner in Chinatown. The food is really tasty and cheap. We also bought key chains and other souvenirs.

Fri- We availed the breakfast in the hotel. Had a look at the Hardrock Hotel's pool, mas ok ang pool nila for kids at mas malaki. Check-out and lefft our luggages in the hotel. Swimming in hardrock's pool.
Lunch - Went to Orchard Road for Jollibee . Window shop and right timing, there's shoes and bags affair in Takashimaya, mostly 50%, grabbed 2 kipling bags 50% off. Bought Royce chocolates as well, they had a promo of buy 3 items to get a free assorted chocolates. I think it's aroud 25 pcs, so sobrang sulit apart from free taste!

8pm-returned to the hotel and headed off to the airport.

sises I know this is OT but I dont know where to ask this. Im working as nurse here in k.s.a uwi nako pinas this june for my annual vacay
and booked my SG trip on july 8 to 11. Do I need any travel authorization letter from my hospital ? or any requirements ? thanks

^I think sis no need.  Because in case the SG immigration will ask you if you're financially capable, you can present your employment ID.  Likewise, when facing PH immigration officers.  Just don't fear the immigration if you have enough to justify your financial stability.

been lurking for a few days reading this and the previous thread. We're going to SG on May 29-June 3. I'm sort of ok already with our IT, we've plotted only the major activities per day. Initially, we planned on staying on my brothers apartment para tipid pero naisip din namin, medyo dyahe kasi hubby and I haven't been in SG since 2009 so dami namin gusto ikutin so definitely we'll always go home late. Anyway, since I am a member of Accor hotels, thinking of booking at Ibis Bencoolen - the rate includes complimentary breakfast for 2 pax then for kids older than 6 yrs old, 50% off on breakfast, just want to ask if worth it ba to pay for the breakfast or better get the rate that does not include breakfast?

Tried searching here but did not get feedback for those who paid for breakfast. Thanks!

Hi mga sis pwede humingi ng the best suggestion nyo IT na ma maximise namin yun 5days namin sa Sg, it will be on May31-June 4 timing for Singapore Great Sale. Yung USS sana weekday para di mahaba pila. Best Restaurant and food na din. Been there 2007 pa...kaya madami ng bago for sure. TIA!

hi! what time nag close yung changi outlet store? kasi 2am pa flight ko para alam ko what time ako pupunta. and yung mga stores sa loob ng airport what time din nag cclose? thanks

^Minimum purchase of SGD in a single receipt, non food, non hotel and non service type of purchase.  What we do is we buy anything that non food and we make it a single receipt in the amount of SGD100 then we claim the refund in changi airport.
