Nag-book kami for New Year ano ok gawin dun sa new year's eve and new year mismo?

May bago ba sa USS? Mga 2009 or 2010 ata kami last nagpunta e. iniisip ko if punta ulit kami during our trip this year.

Sis, check at www.gothere.sg and locate the nearest bus stop or MRT from that dumnam st.  If its close with bus stops that goes to the tourist places ten its good.  If not, hanap ka pa ng place na mas maganda pangcommute.

minnie99, hawkers at Chinatown area closes early if I remember correctly, there was a time we went there at around 7PM and andami nang sarado The only hawker places that closes late that I know is Lau Pa Sat, Makansutra (both are tourist traps IMO but I prefer Makansutra), and Newton FC

4. Up to what time po ang MRT?bus?

5.  Kapag dating po ba sa Changi airport pwede na agad mag duty free?

Hello Cari,

1. I heard the SG pass is $10 for 1 day, in this case better kung mag EZ link card nalang. You can buy this at any MRT stations
2. I've never tried eating cereal prawn and chili crab at Chinatown yet since most of the servings that I see here is not so worth it. Better if you can just eat at No Signboard. What I like about No Signboard is they serve you Sri Lankan crabs (some restaurants serve mud crabs only) which is bigger. And sure ka na hindi kuripot ang serving. Others prefer Jumbo when it comes to Chili Crab but I prefer NS, the sauce is more tangy. Make sure you order some mantau buns on the side to dip with the chili crab sauce

3. Songs of the Sea is just within Sentosa, you can just take the tram within the island
4. Mas late ang bus but depends on the route. Safest is 11:45PM. For MRTs... 11:30pm but depends on where you're coming from rin kung sa city, going to city etc.
5. Yes, there are some Duty Free shops right after Immigration but I suggest doing your DF shopping before you leave since it'll be cheaper and there are more choices on the departure area  HTH

I suggest mag book ka na lang sa YMCA upon arrival. Sayang kasi ang time and mag taxi ka din from Geylang to YMCA kapag hindi ka doon nag book agad.

Day 1 lunch ninyo I suggest sa Marina Bay Shoppes na lang. Wide selection of Restos. You can try Wolfgang Puck and Pizzeria/Osteria Mozza. Ok din sa No Signboard for Dinner since nasa The Esplanade naman yun.

Day 2 Kung hindi crowded masyado si USS, puwede kayo makahabol sa 8pm onwards na show ng Songs of the Sea. Pero baka pagod na kayo by then.

Day 3 ninyo parang hindi ata kasya ang Legoland and Hello Kitty. Check mo hours of operation nila. Pero baka mabitin kayo.

Hindi na ata kasya ang Luge and Sea Aquarium sa itinerary ninyo


u8mypinkcookies, for New Year's fireworks, sana makabook kayo ng hotel around Marina Bay area. Early booking sa mga hotel sana para maaccomodate kayo and specifically request sa bay area where the fireworks are. And then perhaps mag buffet na lang kayo sa eve

minnie99, meron mga hawker centers na open 24 hours. Meron naman 10pm nagco-close. Lau Pa Sat alam ko until 2am meron pa. Maxwell yes sa Chinatown.

Day 1 is okay.  You might want to go to Anchorpoint as Ikea Alexandra is just right across.  Remember that stores will close at 10 but be sure to be in Anchorpoint before 9PM.
Day2 - why is there HSBC sis?
       What you can do is Gardens by the bay in the morning then Marina Bay in the afternoon since sobrang init pag noon sa SG.  Take your lunch at Marina bay Rasapura Masters (if you prefer to go budget) then proceed to Orchard around 3PM onwards.  Although you may opt to go back to MBS for the wonderfull show in the evening and eat in Makansutra for dinner.
Day 3 - I would suggest you skip Anchorpoint as Sentosa is probably the whole day for you and your family.  Take your lunches or dinner in Vivocity if you prefer to go budget.
Day 4 - Sis, di ka mahilig sa orchard that you have to go there everday? hehe
          - This is okay as Singapore zoo will be whole day especially if you want to do the river safari
Day 5 - You can go to changi point outlet stores for more outlet shopping.  Just checkout early so that you have 5 hours before the flight.  Go straight to changi airport 5 hours before the flight then leave your luggages at the "Left luggage" station for 4SGD ata per luggage.  Then with 5 hours before your flight, ride the MRT from Changi terminal to Expo MRT (one station away lang!) for Changi point outlet mall.  The mall opens at 10AM.  Then after three hours with 2 hours before your flight, proceed to changi for your checkin.  Yo may opt for 6 hours before the flight para 3 hours before your flight kayo nasa checkin area if you want an earlier checkin.
