^For me sis, hindi naman.  Dahil sandali lang yung parade, merong videos ng parade online.  Try to see nalang if you think its worth it.  For me, I'd rather enjoy all the rides as in ulit ulitin ko para worth it ang bayad.

Cari, better if you go on a friday but no guarantee that it'll not be packed since school vacation already started. We were at USS last friday and medyo madaming tao...

We were at Makansutra yesterday with some colleagues from Manila and I'm very disappointed with their food. Food was okay before they renovated  And price for crabs, shrimps are the same with No signboard so I'd rather eat at No Signboard. Even the chicken rice at the Wee Nam Kee stall there tastes bland We spent almost the same as with our usual bill at No Signboard whenever we go there to eat but the food portions are pathetic and quality is very upsetting

I'm ok naman with the food at Makansutra. To each his own I guess...

Siguro for someone based in SG, it's understandable to prefer eating in a restaurant like Jumbo/No Signboard. As a tourist, I enjoyed the experience eating in Makansutra because of it's outdoor food court-type setting. In Manila, we have not eaten in such places. Even in food courts here hindi, so when we travel, enjoy kami sa food court setting.

^Their seafood, specifically shrimp/prawn and crabs were small considering that their price is the same lang with Jumbo/No Signboard Originally we were supposed to eat at No Signboard but my friends thought of eating at Makansutra instead since we haven't been there for a while and we all have the same comment.

Yes to each his own It's just that hindi maiiwasan na macompare with the 2 restaurants I mentioned since they're priced just the same and we expect to get what we paid for.

Question lang regarding GST refund, our flight kasi is Manila-SG, SG- KL (via airasia) and KL- Manila
Eligible ba kami sa GST refund? 

Kasi before nag backread ako and parang may nabasa din ako sa mga blog na kapag hindi sa Philippines and exit hindi eligible sa refund?

Can someone enlighten me on this please

Our plan talaga is to shop since ang dating namin is last day ng GSS.

i had a good time at SG this weekend. i stayed over my friend'c condo kaya mejo nakatipid. shopping galore lang sa Cotton On, F21 and other stores in Somerset area.

I was able to buy a Tiffany necklace, 200SGD lang. cheaper pa din there kesa dito sa Pinas. parnag 6k plus lang yon, simple chain 16''inches with Return to Tiffany heart pendant.

for Lacoste, i was able to score Lacoste Sport polo shirts for 69 SGD each lang. tuwang-tuwa si hubby.

toys, almost same price dito sa Pinas pero I bought narin Baby Alive, 36 SGD on sale na yon and a box of Lego Duplo for only 19SGD.

Sayang nga lang di na ako nakapagIKEA kasi wala ng time. I also bought a bag and wallet in MNG. Mura kasi, parang 49 SGD lang yung Bag and 25 SGD yung wallet.

any referral for  a reasonably priced na  flat  in SG for my expat BIL  kindly pm me. as of now he shares with a relative and his wife but he intends to get his own place to stay. his contract for the company  is for 1 year but renewable. TIA.

We also enjoyed shopping at Somerset. Hoard talaga kami ng Cotton On clothes. Twice ang price pagdating dito kaya sulit na sulit mamili dun.

Regarding GST refund, make sure you are bringing the goods. We thought enough na to show the receipts. Naka-check in na yung goods na pinamili namin kaya we weren't able to get a refund. Only my fiance was able to get a refund sa jacket that he bought. Malaki rin nakuha nya at pinamili din namin ng chocolates sa airport.

Nakakatuwa mag-shopping sa Singapore because there are a lot of Filipino sales attendant. We met one Filipina who even gave us her employee discount voucher na 20% discount. Super bait! Feel at home talaga kami sa SG.

Pwede naman icheckin ang for refund, just make sure to drop by the GST refund counter before you check in for your flight. After showing the receipts and checking your pinamili (actually, sometimes nga di na pinapabukas ang bag to check the actual items, based on my experience, depende siguro sa nagchicheck), ibibigay na nya yung refund slip mo. Tsaka ka magcheckin. Once nasa loob ka na, after immigration, just show this slip to the refund counter to get your money.

mga sis! We are going to visit SG this December for 4 days ask ko lang are you familiar with Lofi Inn? We booked it via booking.com-legit ba ang booking.com? Kasi they didn't ask for deposit upon checkin nalang daw ang full payment. Nag woworry lang ako baka naman pag dating namin don eh hindi pala kami nakabook we are 10 adults plus 2 children 4 years old and 1 year old. TIA

^When you're in Novotel, clarke quay, pagbaba mo ng hotel, yun na ang kainan and mga sights.

^^You can also check Liang Court if you don't want the hustle and bustle at Clarke Quay area specially at night time.. This is just almost beside Novotel And you can just take the MRT going to USS. From Clarke Quay station, 2 stops lang cya to Harbourfrount MRT station
