^he will do something "less" than what he is telling you about his friends. so at the end, mabait pa din sya. pero baka nga tsismoso lang talaga

Hi guytalkers. :)

Just wanted to ask: are guys naturally flirts? why or why not (would a guy flirt)?

tia :)

@ice: hah, i'd defend myself. i don't flirt on normal days (lol!) but when i make it a point or a goal to do so, i do it a lot. i won't flirt with girls na di ko type. or girls na attached. i don't flirt with bosses or coworkers either. haha. but i certainly would flirt on my crush. haha. simple lang ang dahil, attraction and wanting to flatter the girl. and we know that the right flattery can get us somewhere.

why, may nagfflirt sayo no? haha. maybe the guy really finds you attractive, irresistible, luscious, ravishing. ano pa. lol. somehow at the back of his mind he knows he's gonna mess things up. but he can't control his urges. you know what they say...men are frail.

so, based from this (and from you), can i conclude that it is a natural thing for guys to do? :)

harmless flirting is natural especially kapag nasa workplace/school/social circle. if he asks you out
on a date or starts escalating by touching you, may malisya na yun.

@ice: i'd say flirting is a natural thing. but kung in a relationship ka kasi, it shouldn't be the question anymore. i think hindi na ito normal from a relationship perspective. (if you prefer the biological perspective... yes it is natural maam.)

sa social networking sites pa naman, we can afford to be sneaky, stealthy. private sya so kaya ng guy ipush yung level nya ng flirtation. lol. unlike sa public places, sa office desk. haha. malay mo, mauwi sa yayaan.

IMO, a man in a committed relationship shouldn't do it. unless, unsatisfied sya sa current nyang relationship at di nya kaya sabihin sa partner nya. maybe he's looking for a way out of it.

hmm. what if it can presumed that the guy seems happy and content naman sa current relationship (or as he says so daw), but since he grew up doing the online chatting thingy and didn't have any real friends from school, it became more like something he used to do most of the time. can that be considered "natural"? would you think there could be any way to stop it (like, something the girl could do or whatnot)?

*sorry dami tanong. hihi. super naappreciate ko yung responses. thank you.*

@ice: baka naman nga friendly exchange lang but you already suspect it as flirting. ako rin naman may nakaka-chat online yet i can't say it's flirting. more like - in my case - flirting is a conscious effort na ginagwa ko sa girls i'm attracted to. but you'll never know. minsan sa sobrang dalas nyo mag-usap, nagsshare ng experiences, nakakagaanan mo ng loob ang tao. kumbaga may spark nang nabubuo. lol.

ano pala ang online flirting para sayo?

ano pala ang online flirting para sayo?

well, flirting, para sakin, is mentioning things to a girl (known as friend or unknown as somebody from around the internet), that should only be mentioned to a girl he's in a relationship with, such as "i miss you", or 'jokes' such as "gusto mo sabay tayo maligo?", lalo pa kung makikita yung conversation na it's been going on for months na pala.

that's just me. i mean, if the guy is committed, diba dapat yang mga ganyang linya kay gf lang niya sinasabi?

abso-fkin-lutely. great examples!

pero if kamustahan lang, hi hello, musta work and mundane stuff, and then the next chat comes mga weeks or months na. don't worry about it.

^ but if the guy is presumably happy naman daw with his relationship, why do you think he went into flirting other girls online? do you think it's the gf's fault? is it because it was a habit of the guy?

maybe she could use a grain of salt? haha. i'm not really sure. as for me, i'd never done it when i was really happy and committed sa relationship. when things started to fall apart, my flirting adventures began.

i think it's easy to cut that "habit" kapag naka-focus ka sa isang babae lang sa buhay mo. if you really love the woman, you wouldn't risk her for some bit of fun. saka na kapag ayaw mo na sa kanya. lol.

@crazy: i think he's testing the waters. guys do that a lot. at kapag napansin nilang hindi naman nagrereklamo ang girl, it's a green light and he won't stop it until you tell him to.

Testing ba is to know if may feelings din ang girl or testing lang maka free sex ?

haha. generally, testing kung anong response mo. we all know that a touch triggers certain emotional responses. whatever your response, he'll take it from there. it could asking for a roll in the hay. it could be something bigger, you know, the L word.
