actually, hindi pa sya part ng budget namin. hehe we're planning na same giveaways for all guests pati PS since close relatives namin sila lahat. but i'm planning a divi trip this weekend and if after all our payables ay magka-extra cash kame, i'm thinking of getting them shawls too.

Sa Kultura sis may shawls na P100 to P300. Maganda quality, bumili nga ko kahapon sa MOA branch nila yung P100 pero kung punta ka sa divi, sa 168 mall hanapin mo yung Michaela boutique, isa lang naman pwesto nila dun and malaki kaya kahit di ko na matandaan anong floor madali mo mahahanap or ipagtanong mo lang kasi yung tapat nila na stall magaganda ang quality ng shawls nila. Yung P300 sa Kultura na designs and quality, makikita mo rin don for P150 per pc. If bibili ka ng wholesale/bulk I'm sure mas mura.

May hanger pa yung when you purchase kaya pwde lagyan ng art. Maybe you can put inside a box na may shredded old gift wrappers then ilitaw mo lang eh hanger so iisipin nila, hanger ang gift mo, but when they lift it up, pashmina pala. Hahaha. Wala lang naisip ko lang

Mga sis, question nman bka may alam kyo na gumagawa ng champagne flute engraving/etching for souvenirs. So far Ang quote sakin is php230. May mura ba ako na ma bili na champagne flute sa divi? 120 kc quote sakin kng engrave lang, pwede daw ako provide ng glass.

Any idea where to buy high quality pashmina? Planning to give those to the female principal sponsors.

If you're only planning to buy the very basic, not makapal type of shawl i would say the quality offered by Anna Pashmina at about P450 apiece is simply the same as the one found in Divi or SM dept stores--- at about P100-130. I've compared and actually mas matigas pa yung branded. So i think taga.
 It is advisable to only get from Anna Pashmina if the one you're getting is the makapal type or yung super soft one made of a different material, or a rare design (there are ones na two-tone these days na popular choice). Also, it should come in a box for better presentation.

^sparklingjewel, sorry now ko lang nabasa reply mo. Thank you for the tip! I already bought shawls in HK, yung mga two-toned. They look really nice, the fabric is not matigas and not very thin din, and, HK being HK, I was able to get the shawls for a very reasonable price. I am quite pleased I was able to make that transaction ☺

Anyway, I agree with you it should be in a box. I'm thinking of having a customized wooden box made for our ninangs with their names calligraphed on the surface. Then nasa loob yung shawl and other stuff we plan to give.

Or a cheaper route I believe, is just to buy plain, elegant wooden boxes somewhere and have the names of our ninangs calligraphed on them. Any suggestions where to find those wooden boxes?

^Congrats juwie I'm planning to provide shawls not as souvenirs or gifts but simply because of the weather during my wedding, it would be good to have one (in my motif colors!). Since it's quite a number for the female guests i might not be able to box it one by one. Still thinking of the packaging for it. For my ento, since i'll be giving them a box of spa GCs and other stuff im thinking of including their shawls plus our souvenir item in it na. Ganda nga presentation talaga pag box pero medyo magastos since it's P80-120 ata apiece But at least it looks the part already and re-usable.

^pashmina din sis! Nakakita ako ng masculine na designs eh. Very useful kaya un sa cinema or sa trips.

My idea is to give small Bottega wines for female and small Jack Daniel's for male. Yong 200ml lang, then samahan ko ng chocolates or pashmina. Ano sa tingin nyo mga sis, ok lang ba un or masyado maliit? I don't want to give them wines na hindi ko din kasi masyado tested though mas makakamura ako and 1L pa. Di naman kaya ng budget if we will buy the 1L Bottega and JDs

^ hehe, I got the idea nga from chocolate confections and since based kami sa overseas ni h2b, naisip ko na bumili sa dutyfree! Di kasi namin keri ang belgian chocolates nila, kaya we will add something else na lang na mas affordable.
