Dumaan ako sa time na I would literally scream at my toddler and it made me feel like a devil. I would cry on my way to work and pagdating sa office cus my conscience was eating me. My daughter is now 2 years and 7 months and may times na mahirap sawayin kase she's testing her limits. I try not to shout anymore kase dahil jan sa pagsigaw-sigaw ko, hilig na idn nya sigawan yung yaya nya :(

My temper is very short and I always say na napaka-bagal ng learning curve ko dahil hanggang ngayon it's something I'm constantly battling with. Everytime I feel the 'possession' coming, I stop whatever it is that I'm doing with my daughter and I ask my sister or her yaya to step in for me. Kase talagang I need to detach myself or else magiging dragon na naman ako. Nakatulog saken yung gumawa ako ng calendar na I would put a smiley on every day na hinde ako sumisigaw.

Nakaka-guilty and nakakadurog ng puso pag nakikita ko yung face ng anak ko laced with fear everytime I scream. Minsan naiisip ko napaka-unsuccessful ko as a parent especially when I see how caring and sweet my daughter is. Feeling ko sometimes I dont deserve her :( My husband is very patient in counseling me, actually.

Pero I'm trying my best to lessen that bad habit.

^^Snowflakes, I do that too, I scream at the pillow. Yun ang nilalamutak ko pati. if there's one thing I promised to myself kase, hinde ko papaluin ang anak ko. Hirap maging parent noh? Sabe nga nila, in parenting, it's the kids who teach us and not the other way around.

^ stay at home ka sis? or you work din at night? I work at night kasi. I took a 1 month leave from work so I could rest and matutukan anak ko. I thought makakakakita na ako ng yaya but I failed. So back to the same routine na naman kami ni hubby.

home-based work kami ni Hubby sis as Photographer. Kya mostly pag tulog ako nakakawork. pag morning namn kitchen ako kya super kulang talaga ng time. pero thank God for the strength...

Kagaya now, 1am na natulog baby ko.... wahhhhh...

no i dont, well maybe 1 time.

but when I think about it i cant remember a time that I yelled at my daughter. minsan may force/stress lang when i call her name kasi ayaw makinig when i call her attention but didn't come to a point that i shouted at her.

palo lang. when she didnt want to brush her teeth. hahaha. e na reap nya naman ngayon ang effort ng ina nya. :)

I did this to my daughter. But it's a case to case basis..

I know my daughter has maldita manner. I don't always yell her because I believe it's not healthy for them as well as for us. But when times come na wala sya pinakikinggan I call her name in stiff tone and look directly in her eyes. For me, it is good na may fear yung anak mo sa iyo. Iba yong fear na bad fear but fear in terms they know na may mali silang ginawa and your going to instill to them what are the consequences in their actions. Minsan I spoil my daughter and I always ask her if she knows how much we love her by my her dad. One time she asked me after I yelled and scolded her," Di ba mom anak nyo ko, bakit nyo ako pinapalo/pinapagalitan? At first I'm surprised with her question but I told her straight that your mother & father don't want you to be a bad girl. We love you that's why we correct whatever unpleasant manner do you have.
Ngayon if she ask me with the same question sya na yung pinasasagot hehe

GUILTY. I was very impatient when it comes to potty training.
May mga times na nagtatantrum eh nasisigawan ko rin and I feel so stpid because she's just 2 years old. I am really trying my best to stay calm. Tapos minsan kahit tulog pa ako
gigisingin ako para humingi ng water or milk. Super guilty.

Ano bang pwedeng gawin? I feel like a monster mom too when it comes to this.

^^ Van I read your blog about it.

Sometimes pag sobrang kulit na niya and she's 3.  :'( So pag tumaas boses ko, she knows na she needs to behave na or stop whatever she's doing bad.   ;) but after the scolding session i explain to her calmly if bakit nagalit si mommy and i believe na no matter how kulit your child is, pag hineart to heart talk mo na after your galit sermon mode, mas naiintindihan niya and mas madali i-accept sa sarili niya na mali siya kaya siya nasigawan.  :)

I think blessing in disguise na din na wala kameng yaya ngayon. Although I find it really challenging, feeling ko mas naging patient ako sa anak ko because of our situation. Before kase nung may yaya kame, super bilis ko mainis pag makulit sya because admittedly sanay ako na pag nagiging unruly sya, may mauutusan ako to take over. Now wala kong choice talaga so in a way, nag-aadjust kame ng daughter ko with each other and nasasanay na ako sa ways nya. May times pa din na I just wanna pull my hair out pero I can conrol myself more than I used to. Dati pag nagta-tantrums yung daughter ko during bath time, ako din nagta-tantrums. Now I can bathe her by myself kahit nagta-tantrums sya na poker face lang ako or I find ways to divert her attention.
