Dermatologist Guide Thread 13- Dermas pretending to be patients, stay away!

Hello. Went there last week the clinic looks old and kung madaming tao hindi kasya sa loob pero i like their system. Konti lang waiting time kasi madami naman resident doctors.  They will speak to you first and get your history then tsaka ka pila kay doc jamora. She has secretary na tagasulat ng sinasabi nya hehe. friendly si doc jamora and frank hehe. friendly naman din resident doctors nya. Di lang masyadong friendly yung sa pharmacy and receptionist. I mean when I got there nakatayo lang ko waiting for the receptionist to finish writting wala syang pasabi kung magwait lang ba ko or uupo pero tumayo nalang ko and waited for her hehe. yung sa pharma naman ganon din dedma sya kung nakatayo ka dun basta wait ka for your turn kasi busy sya parang ganon.

spent 3k+. Surprisingly 2 meds lang binigay sakin hehe tapos ang liit and a bar soap but the simpler the better i guess Hopefully mahiyangan ko sya just wondering though, every consult ba kay doc jamora magpapay ng 800?? or wala na kapag regular patient ka na?

^ Mahirap talaga kung ang gusto mo is a Saturday.  Pag weekdays mas madali.  Fyi, she's going on vacation on May.  Mas mahirap magpa appointment before & after ng bakasyon nya.

Hi sisses! Please recommend a derma who can do procedures on ice pick scars. Kay Dr. Leah kasi parang paulit ulit na TCA peel at carboxy na lang pero hindi naman pumapantay scars ko kaya thinking of switching dermas. TY!

Anybody here who goes to Dra Nellie Yu sa glorietta? Just wondering if nagpapafacial din kayo sa kanila? Been visiting her and um-ok na yung allergy/sudden break outs ko. I always go there around 630pm, usually pricking lang ginagawa haha and hindi rin ako inaask if i want facial or something. Di ko sure kung dahil magsasara na sila at 7pm or di ko naman need ng facial. So i was wondering kung nagfa-facial din sila..

^I used to go to them.  Wala silang facial.  They just clean your face & do pricking & pimple injections.  They charge per pimple injection (150 pesos yata).  Mahal sila maningil pati medicines.  That's why i was so happy to find Dra Martires.  She doesn't charge for pimple injections.  Sabi nya sobrang mura lang ng pimple injection kaya ayaw na nya maningil.

^sis san si dra martires? Makati area kasi ako kaya si dra nellie yung pinakamalapit na recommended. I also just found out na yung derma ko sa fairview e student nya. So mejo tiwala ako since tagal na nila in service. So wala pala talaga sis? Cleaning lang. Pano ma maintain yung skin? So parang naiisip ko tuloy pang skin problems lang sya. Hindi yung paalaga talaga..

I found Dra Martires here on GT.  Madaming GTers that go to her.  PDS din say like Dra Nellie Yu.  Her clinic is in Transom Bldg in Tiendesitas.  Her rates are very reasonable.  Bag nag back read ka you'll read a lot of reviews of Dra Martires.

^  Kung Makati, try mo sa Derm HQ.  Madami silang laser machines & mura sila mag charge.  I go there for Laser Genesis, 10k for 4 sessions lang sa kanila.  Sa Makati Med kasi 6k for 1 session.  Same number of shots.  Derm HQ is owned by Dra Gale Vitas.  I haven't met her yet though.  PDS din sya.

along Valero St. near Rufino St... They don't post prices on their FB page.  Call them na lang.  Accommodating sila.  Although their clinic is small.  Another thing i like about them is i don't wait a long time.  Pagdating ko, gawa sila kaagad.

sis gumaling ka kay doc nellie? Natry ko na din sa kanya dati di ko gusto pagfacial nya eh cleaning lang kasi. anong meds binigay sayo?

Hi mga sis! Any recommendations for dermatologists in Quezon City? Nothing specific, just that I haven't been to a derma in a long time. I used to go to Doc Leah but I find Tiendesitas too far na. :-(

Had uncontrollable hormonal acne,  ever since. but early this year was my worst. . Sa chin, sa neck, sa jawline; I decided to go to Dra Sylvia Jamora, February this year. simultaneously with going to an obgyne. Then come, April, I stopped taking the birth control pills, and just continued meds from derma.

So far, from April to June, I use the products of the derma, and clean eating and vitamins, my skin cleared up; occasional zits before menstruation, and not as much cystic acne. I also can go out without putting anything much on my face, except for sunblock and baby powder.

Hopefully, no big acnes na for good.

Went to DermHQ for face contouring. So far okay naman. My first visit with them I got their basic facial and RF for the cheeks. Good naman kasi di sila yung tipo na nagmamadali sa procedure ng rf. Second visit i decided to try their face contouring. Nag RF muna ako for the cheeks then RF for the eyes kasi concern ko talaga is yung eyebags ko may puffiness siya kaya Doc Gaile suggested RF sa undereyes ko. Then face contouring na. I wanted to emphasize my chin kaya next month papalagay na ako filler sa Chin area ko.

I was finally able to book a slot with Dra. Martires. Fingers crossed! I have been suffering from stress induced and hormonal acne for about a year now and by the looks of it, it seems like my skin is also over exfoliated. Still suffering from my K-beauty obsession gone wrong  My previous derm prescribed Adapalene but it did not help. Hoping all goes well this time!
