snix, regarding dark circles under the eye, walang guaranteed treatment not even fillers when I asked.  Sa belo they have meso eyes daw but i can't see any difference din.

Currently very happy with my dermatologist, Dra. Kaycee Reyes of Luminisce. Before I would subject my face to harsh chemicals and peels, I like that she makes me use organic products which are a little more expensive pero very effective naman. Clinic location is BGC.

hi mommy lace, how is the pricing with dra kaycee?  can an ordinary work from home mom afford their services?  usually how much you need to bring with you sa initial visit.

also can anybody recommend good eyebags/eye wrinkles treatment that is really effective and has immediate results? thanks for your reply

^hydra facials are 3500.. mahal mga gamot nila. i suggest wag mo bilhin lahat kung super dami irerecommend.

sis, anong personality ni dra.? is she the serious type? tsaka hands on ba siya with her patients or may assistant siya?

she's very nice. she will explain all procedures and what she will do and what to expect after treatment. at first, i remember very straightforward sya, then as the weeks went by, naging mas ma-chika na sya.

yung assistant nya will prepare the tools, sometimes yung initial na cleaning ng face (like removing makeup kung meron) or if need ng assistance during the procedure (like holding this & that). dra. does all the procedures herself.

^just called 7064241. grabe naman, wala ng available sched today until Aug. 16. Super loaded daw sila. Check-up lang sana ako then buy ng gamot for maintenance (depende sa ipre-prescribe ni doc..)

Actually magpapa-check up muna ako kay Doc Leah. 1st time patient nya if ever. Was looking for an effective yet affordable dermatologist within Ortigas area kasi. I'm a Dr. Nazal patient for a year now but I find the meds quite expensive. I don't have acne naman. Pretty sure that derma will just prescribe maintenance solutions na hopefully eh affordable.

Looking for feedback for Dr. Clare Palabyab. I read kasi sa other thread.

I called Martires Eye and Skin Clinic again to schedule an appointment. The receptionist advised that I call tomorrow as Dra. already left. When I asked for Dra.'s mobile number, di daw pwede ibigay sabi ni receptionist. -_-

What I like about Dra Martires is that she did the cleaning and pricking herself but this was waayyy back in
2012. Anyone knows if she stilldoes the cleaning and pricking herself? Excited to see her this December. Any

RE: Luminisce

Current patient ako ni Dra. Kaycee of Luminisce. Unlike what @perasense claims, hindi si Dra ang gumagawa ng lahat ng procedures (if it includes the pricking ha). Ang Coquille peel and acne surgery (as they call-- live to its name super bloody~ lol) yung aesthetician lang ang gumagawa. Ang ginagawa lang ng doctor (may kahalili sya si Dra CJ) ay yung laser part. Perhaps kasi July pa yung post nya?

On my second session, walang talk with the doc or anything. Deretso procedure. Yung "after sales" nila okay. Madali silang itext-- nung nagkaissue ako sa bonggang peeling na nangyari sakin tinawagan ako mismo ni Dra CJ. And also, pag may pimple akong lumitaw isang punta ko lang iinject na nila. Good for 10 days after consult daw yun.

I bought a package na combination ng laser and acne treatment. 8+2 sessions, naka sale raw sila. Save 20K.

Aside from that, may medications pa akong iniinom. Kinda pricey yung gamot isang piraso halos 100 pesos--antibiotic sya. Hindi ako niresetahan ng Acnetrex ineexpect ko pa naman.

Of course di mawawala yung regimen. May sunblock, toner, night cream, peel pads and facial wash akong binili. Good for 1 month lang yung toner pero may sinuggest sila na hatiin ko yung pads. Bitin naman pag hinati haha. Yung peel pads ok pa e.

So sa tanong na "can an ordinary work from home mom afford their services?"? Yes kaya naman. I'm a work at home mom, too. Pero kinailangan kong gamitin ang savings ko para sa acne treatment na ito. Kinuha ko kasi yung package na may laser pa haha. If you opt dun sa coquille and the other one lang siguro, kayang kaya.

Currently, andami dami dami kong scars dahil sa pricking at parang nawawalan ako ng gana. Medyo nanghihinayang ako sa halos 80K na nagastos ko na lol. Sana umayos talaga skin ko sa natitirang 8 sessions.

EDIT: Just another comment about their aestheticians/nurses/assistants-- sinabihan ako nung gumagawa sakin na hindi nila tinatanggal ang blackheads. I was like, Whuuut? Diba part dapat ng cleaning yun?? Medyo nagulat ako dun. Ididiscuss ko yan once makabalik si Dra Kaycee.

Does anyone know a dermatologist located near E. Rod, QC? I used to be a patient of Dra. Leah Martires but I think she misdiagnosed my skin problem for bacne and the treatment wasn't really effective. She just looked at my chest and back without making me undergo further laboratory. Dra. Leah, I suppose, is a cosmetic dermatologist; I'm looking for a dermatologist who goes beyond aesthetics and can really cure skin problems and address the root of it.

^I've read Dra. Jasmin Jamora of St. Lukes is very good daw, sis. Dermatopathologist din siya so expertise niya rin skin ailments or diseases.

yes sya pa din mag-cleaning. been there twice na. sched ko today kaso we have visitor sa office kaya di ako makakapunta schedule is given 2 week before kaya call them early.

Need ko na magpa  facial cleaning. Buti pa nung student ako, one ride away from doc lea lang. pero asa bulacan na ko and may anak ng inaalagaan. Kawawa naman kung isasama sa clinic, super layo. Hehe.
