tapos meron din tretinoin cream once a day pero minsan ko lang gamitin kasi baka maimmune skin ko.

If i remember it right, kay dra.martires 500 yung tca peel nya. Ang ayoko lang dito, hindi tinatarget ang cause ng pimple kaya pabalik balik lang din tigyawat ko. Hindi naman sya nagprescribe sakin ng pang treat ng tigyawat. Although i bought tretinoin solution sa kanya, hindi naman effective sa tigyawat. Nagbabalat lang mukha ko.

@YourMajesty - after dra. Salipsip gave me the prescription meds, the next time na bumalik ako sa kanya, gusto nya tirahin yung facial veins ko na never naman naging issue sakin, when i said gusto ko may glow effect lang and that that's all i ever want, she insisted the procedure to remove my facial vein and pag naremove yun may glow na daw. I didnt believe her. Gusto ko sana mag power peel, or glycolic peel which hindi naman nya inoffer sakin and hindi ko na rin tinanong kasi pakiramdam ko gusto talaga nya ako i-laser para sa facial vein nga.

Kaya hindi na ako bumalik sa kanya unless bibili lang ako ng meds.

^sis, IMO, totoong kailangan alisin ang facial veins para magka glow. ganyan rin face ko, veiny at mapula kasi i have rosacea pa.

nagpapa laser ako. tried IPL, V beam, Excel V, Revlite. pag naalis ang veins tsaka "aaliwalas" ang face kaya glowing.

hindi kaya ng peels or kahit anong pahid pahid alisin ang veins.

^ganun ba?  i think i read your post about it and which laser ang effective sa facial veins. Mine kasi sa lower cheeks banda. And konti sa sides ng nose. If i'll reconsider (ayaw ko lang talaga dahil mahal), how much ba yung laser? Or how much did u spend for it? I know it's not cheap kasi.. Thanks sis.

yes mahal talaga ang laser. pero yun lang talaga ang makakapag paalis bg veins natin

i also wanna share na please, double check your "dermatologist" kung MD talaga na dermatology ang specialization. much better if member ng Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS)

i cringe talaga pag nakakakita ng skin clinics tapos hindi naman derma ang tumitingin. huwag natin ipagkatiwala ang balat natin kung kanino lang.

eto ang alam ko:

-Belo is a dermatologist but not PDS member
-Cathy Valencia is NOT even a doctor! skin specialist daw. ewan ano pinag aaralan non.
-that skin clinic in banawe area, Skin M.D ata- hindi rin totoong derma sa pagkaka alala ko.

lalo na yung mga lasers tapos nurse lang ang gagawa. (like Wink laser studio!) hindi basta basta click ng click lang, may setttings kasi yan na doctor na nakapag aral at training lang ang mas marunong depende sa balat ng patient.

Hi, I noticed na konti lang ang feedback kay Dr. Sylvia and Jasmin Jamora. I think I'll consult with them na. I found out they're actually dermapathologists so I think they can help me with my acne than most derma clinics that are too aesthetics-centric out there.

VBeam in Makati Med is 5k for 50 shots.  Si Dra Martires ang gumawa sa akin doon.  Actually more than 50 shots ang giant nya but only charged me 5k.

^^Dr. Jasmin Jamora is my long time derma. mga 10yrs na. nagpupunta ako kung saan saan pampa beauty like Belo, Aivee Teo, Skin House. pero pag yung problema talaga sa skin ko (psoriasis, rosacea, keratosis pilaris , seborrhea) , kay Dr. Jasmin ako pumupunta.

what i like about her eh hindi ka niya bibigyan ng mamahalin na kung ano anong creams. basta kung anong gamot sa sakit mo, available sa Mercury. minsan sariling timpla nila pero kadalasan sa drugstore. although mahal rin siya ah. pero reliable talaga.

sa dami ng dermas na napuntahan ko, sa kanya ako pinaka comfortable kasi straight to the point ang gamutan.

^ so okay din naman si Doc Jamora when it comes to treating acne? Also, ano bang nearest landmark sa Skin Clinic nila? Ang hirap yatang puntahan? Someone mentioned cash and carry pero meron pa bang iba? Pero super gusto ko nang magpa consult sa kanya.

Yes, temporary lang ang fillers like maybe motnhs to a year. Can't do fractional co2 for now because of the downtime na sobrang tagal. Hindi naman ako pwede mag-leave from work for two weeks

Meron bang laser for scars na maikli lang ang downtime? Actually nabasa ko sa isang thread din dito about Intracel. Laser rin pero short downtime lang. I think bago lang yun.

I think I saw that too kaso gusto niya fractional for my scars e 

What is your problem?  Discolored scars or yung lubog?  Kasi if may discolouration, you can have revlite laser therapy.

^I have discoloration pero masproblema ko ang mga lubog na scars. Nagkakaron kasi ako ng depressed scars kapag nagpapa-prick.

Hi sisses! I really recommend Dr. Chua!

I went to his clinic at Ortigas last week. Usually daw matao dun pero buti nalang kakatapos lang nung madami nung dumating ako. Since first time ko sa kanya, consultation muna, then I was directed to an assistant for a facial. I mean yung assistant lang ang naglinis ng face ko and nag-apply ng mask. After that, kay doc na. He did the pricking and the glycolic peel. After that, ok na. May mga meds na binigay. 28 pcs of pills and 6 other topical stuff.

Eto talaga yung ayoko pag derma e, ang daming pampahid na binibigay. Pero sabi ko why not give it a chance since mukha namang maganda ang reviews kay doc and ang bait bait pa nya. Right now, 1 week after eh seriously sobrang laki ng inimprove ng face ko. Almost no more acne sa left side ng face. Yung acne sa forehead ay mga 80% na ang nawala tapos sa right side ng face ay mga 60% gone.

Feeling ko kaya mabagal yung sa right side is because I sleep facing right. So ayun. Pero Dr. Chua of Imperial Dermatology is highly recommended for me!

nakakatamad maglagay but sobrang effective.

almost 5k yung first visit ko sa kanya, mostly because of meds. yung facial nya is 500 yata? then glyco peel is nasa 1k.
feeling ko [textspeak!] 2nd visit ko is 1500 nalang since glyco and facial nalang. i think the meds are good for almost 1 month?

Sisses feedback kay dr nelson lee, happy ako kasi 2 weeks ago ako nagpaconsult and 50-70% improvement on acne, to think before i went to him 2 dermas wanted to treat me with roaccutane na...mga 4 topical meds yung binigay nya and mga worth 1800 na good for a month.

^Sa arnaiz ave, i think pasay na yun, if coming from osmena highway, turn ka yung way going to taft... sya lang yung pink building on the left. Every sat lang sya here in manila kasi iloilo based talaga sya. Highly recommended sya sa akin ng coworker ko na madami na din syang nirefer nagssuffer from acne. How about for pimple marks and/or pigmentations, sino recommended derma niyo and what procedure?
I have pigmentation on my upper back and upper arms that I've been trying to get rid of. Tried both tca and tret peeling by dra. Leah and a couple of other dermas I read here pero nada. Walang effect.
