I am going to Dave Co and he's pretty good. He advised me to use avene triacneal and a gel called floxa to combat the oiliness. try ko lang muna before we use a more aggressive treatment kasi here and there lang yung pimples ko.

It's been months since I last visited my derma, doc 6f. When I'm stressed out, talagang maglalabasan ang pimples ko. Thankfully, isang TCA peel lang ang katapat ng pimples ko. Meds ko are glycolic acid cream, super whitening cream and glowing solution. They surely keep the breakouts at bay. :-)

Concern ko lang eh yung dark pigmentation in some parts of my cheeks, nakakainjs kasi lumalabas sa picture. And syringoma, although i doubt kung gagalawin ko pa to. Ano kaya ang gagawin ni doc for dark oigments, wala naman akong pimples.  May mga scars here and there from chiildhood pox, pero hindi naman ganun ka pronounced, aging din siguro. I want to look younger and have clearer skin. Haay vanity, my most favorite sin.

This is the same reason why until now hesitant akong dalin yung daughter ko kay Doc Leah. Still searching for a good derma though.

me too.. I had pimples pero everytime na i prick ni dra, nasusugat. then nag cacascar. then i peel niya. Parang I though, yung wound from pricking itself na lang din ang pinepeel niya. Parang useless ;(

syringoma can be removed with cautery or laser (latter is more expensive). i had mine removed by dra rose gatmaytan of caraderme january this year. make sure you don't schedule this around any special events, though, kasi may healing time at puro sugat ang mukha mo afterwards.

Will tell my closed friend po kase. It has been her problem ever since. Nataakot siya ipacautery so she resorted to creams. Bumabalik naman daw kase e.. How true sis? Please she some light po sis. TIA!

---> All the syringoma was removed with a laser in one session. I can't remember how much I spent, though, coz that was January this year. Laser is not as painful as cautery, but it's more expensive nga lang. Your friend can visit the clinic's website at caraderme.com to check the prices for the procedure.

hi mga sis. Sobra yung pimple break-out ko sa jaw area ko. Sobrang lungkot na lungkot na talaga ako so nagpunta ako sa derm clinic dito sa batangas. Yung mismomg dermatologist ang gumagawa ng procedure. She called it Acne surgery (3 sessions for 5K) ang every two weeks siyang ginawa saken. Sobrang saket niya at nkakaiyak talag. sabi niya kase sa ibang clinic, mababaw lang yung tinatanggal ehh saken cyctic pimples daw talaga.Tapos i bought the [textspeak!] derm product set. ANG MAHAL! 9K! pero infairness, hindi namamaga mukha ko sa tretenoin na kasama dun sa set. pansin ko lang, hindi mabilis yung effect ng pag heheal ng pimples ko. 1 month ko na siya ginagamit at tapos na yung 3 sessions ko pero feeling ko nag darken yung mga pimples ko at mapupula pa din.

Hindi ko alam kung impatient lang ako or something. Gusto ko kase yung aggressive na pag ttreat para mabilis and noticeable yung change eh. Pinag take den nga pala ako ng Vitamin C (every day at may antibiotic na ibinigay. Una doxycyclene pero pinalita ng lyme something(i forgot the name). Pero ambagal talaga ng progress.

Im searching for a new derma para kasing d ako hiyang or na-immune na ako sa topical meds ng derma ko. Ang dami ko nadin napagdaanan, acnotin, doxycycline, SP at facial.

Question:
Mahirap ba magpa sched kay Dr. Leah? Siya ba lahat nagawa?

How bout Dr. Sylvia Jacinto or Jasmin Jamora? Sila din ba nagawa?

Any inputs on Dr. Evangeline Handog and Dr. Riya Dimagiba?

Beware kayo dun sa Derma sa Let's Face It sa Rob Ermita. Sobrang mukang pera. Nagpaconsult ako sa kanya nung kakauwi ko lang galing States.. nung una medyo parang natatawa sya kase akala nya pipitsugin yung gamot na gamit ko sa muka. Sabi ko sa kanya, sa states ko yun binili kaya di nya kilala. Nung nalaman nya na galing States ako, biglang nagsuggest ng sangkaterbang treatments saken. Biruin mo gusto nya 4 treatments agad in one session. Nung time na yun, sobrang breakout ako kaya pumayag nako. Pero 5k lang cash nun kaya sabi ko facial and injections nalang muna, tas gamot. Naubos 5k ko! Facial at injection lang, tas yung fee nya. Pagkakita ko ng pricelist - narealize ko na na rip off ako. Yung total ng treatment ko, dapat hinde tataas ng 1,500. Grabe simula nun, di ko na sya binalikan. Ang unpro nya pa, minadali nya yung muka ko.. puro pasa tuloy face ko after ng facial. Tas mayat maya nya pa sinasagot phone nya. Grabe pag naalala ko, nagsisisi ako!

Same sentiment here.  Kaya naghahanap talaga ako ng iba pang derma.

I think kapag breakout ang skin, we look for derma na more on medical kesa cosmetic. When the treatment is done, im sure good derma will suggest appropriate procedures kung may scarring na result. Kesa derma na more on cosmetic, parang superficial na masakit sa bulsa na masakit sa mukha ang ginagawa kaya bumabalik ang problem. I guess yung mga more on medical approach na derma sa mga hospitals makikita like ust, st.luke's, makati med, etc. although di lahat sa kanila medical ang approach (so beware pa din).

Go to dermas in hospitals instead na derma sa mga let's face it, etc.

Pansin ko naman sa mga may sariling clinic outside hospitals (not all of them), napakastandard ng ginagawa. Pareparehas ginagawa kahit iba iba problems ng patients. So beware din sa mga ganun. Pati mga package deals.

Based yan sa mga experience ko. Sisi ako ngayon buti na lang na yung skin care regimen ko ok. Siguro need ko na lang ng medical procedure na para bumabaw scars ko galing sa dati kong derma na ok naman kaso aggressive but superficial lang natretreat.

Btw, may nabasa ako dito regarding skinwellness clinic. May 2 derma ata don. May treatments din sila for scars like lasers, tca cross, dermarolling/microneedling. Anyone here na natry na sila with before and after pics? Thanks.

ako, i tried hospital-based derma and prior to that, "salon like" derma (ie, let's face it, etc.). Hospital based derma sort of tamed my acne then but the treatment I got from 6F helped a lot and improved my skin. Now, I get less cystic acne. More on black/white heads na lang.

I cannot say I am 100% satisfied though. I still have oily skin and orange peel like pores (not craters). I want to have more maaliwalas skin talaga (minimized pores, lighter skin tone)
