You've never ridden a plane before and now you intend to visit Singapore? And for just 1 day? I'm not sure you are awarewhat's exactly involved in making an international flight. Let me explain it for you:
So tatakas ka. Sige, let's say makakatakas ka sa inyo ng 4am, then ang curfew mo is 10pm. Let's compute the hours.
1. Since you need to be at the airport 3 hours before your departure time, this means you can only choose a departure time that is at least 3 hours after you leave home. So the earliest departure time for you is 7am.
2. The flight itself takes around 3 hours. This means the earliest time you can arrive in Singapore is 10am. By the time you're through with immigration, it's close to mid-day already.
3. Now, here's the thing. If you need to be back in Manila by 10pm, then you need to choose a flight that is at least 3 hours prior, so that's 7pm.
4. But then, you also need to be in the airport in Singapore 3 hours prior to that flight. So have to be there by 4pm.
In case you haven't realized yet by now, in this scenario you'd only end up spending a little over 5 hours in Singapore (10:30 am to 4 pm). Ask yourself, is all that hassle worth it for a mere 5 hours with your boyfriend?
And that's IF things go perfectly. Here are some ways your plans can get screwed:
(a) If one or both of your flights get delayed, then you're screwed. Either you spend even less than 5 hours with your BF, or you miss your curfew at home. Better tell a convincing story if you're going to lie.
(b) If Philippine immigration learns that it's your first time to exit the country and napag-tripan ka, then you're also screwed. In this case you may not even be permitted to leave the country, and you will not have a refund for your plane tickets and terminal fees/ taxes.
And mind you, (a) happens frequently, and (b) happens frequently to solo female travelers. You should know that the reason "Pupuntahan ko po ang boyfriend ko." is a huge red flag for Philippine immigration officers.
Sorry, ang haba na. Basta pag-isipan mo ng mabuti iyan ha? And if you go ahead with it and get screwed at some point, don't say we didn't warn you.
