We are going to have a Mt. Sembrano Dayhike Part 2 (Malaya, Pililia, Rizal) this Sunday.  We are going to meet at Edsa Central Crossing McDo at exactly 7am then be back in Manila before evening.  If you are interested, just feel free to send me a message.  You don’t need to bring so much stuff because we are not going to camp out, we are just going to get to the summit, and then descend the mountain after.  The hike jump-off is just 1.5 – 2 hrs away from Edsa Central Crossing.  The mountain can be submitted in less than 3 hrs.  This is again a very easy climb, good for curious and beginner hikers.  We’re already three in the group. Please don't hesitate to hit me up for inquiries.

^Mt. Sembrano is a bit infamous due to incidences of theft.  Make sure you never leave your stuff where you can't see them.  It's quite a nice mountain though.  Enjoy!

that's ancient.  I already camped there for two times this year without that kind of incident.  The mountain caretaker and his family are the only people that you could meet in the basecamp nowadays.  I really hope that Pinoymountaineer would update their blog and tell other stories about Mt. Sembrano.  Almost all hikers that I know thinks that Mt. Sembrano is very prone to theft and robbery.

hindi na naman tuloy anawangin namin with officemates next week (US holiday) bad trip talaga minsan pag puro plano. kung alam ko lang, nagbook na lang sana ko or nagplan ng iba..

Hi, guys. Please don’t hesitate to send me a message if you are interested to join our Mt. Cristobal (Devil’s Mountain) Hike this weekend.  We are going to meet-up in JAC Liner Buendia at exactly 7AM on Saturday (July 13, 2013) and then be back in Manila around 6-7PM of Sunday (July 14, 2013).  Please prepare 500-600 Pesos for total expenses per person.  You need to bring your own food and drinks – good for Lunch, Dinner and 2nd Day Breakfast.  There is no water source in the base camp, manage your own water – 3 to 4 Liters, depending in how you drink under rigorous physical activities.  This is just a minor climb but a very long trek.  We will not even reach the base camp to have lunch, we are going have our lunch while on the trail.  Expect isolated rain showers while hiking, buy a cheap raincoat.  I could lend you a tent if you don’t have one but you need to carry it to the mountain by yourself.  We are going to leave you if you are going to be late.  Thanks.
