Helo! Ask ko lang, have you guys thought of volunteering abroad? either by teaching or other activities. I'm a traveller, and i think volunteering is a bit cheaper and you get to stay for a certain country for quite long. Na try nyo na ba? Balak ko kasi sana, Japan, Vietnam or Thailand, kaso wala ako kasama

Sis angel234. May sinendan ako ng email/ resume pero sa Cambodia yun. Parang hospital setting. Yung iba kasing nakita ko sa Thailand medyo mahal. Yung sa mga elephants. Marami sa Thailand and Nepal, usually English teaching.

I am interested. I can do 2weeks to a month. May nakita ka na bang feasible? sama mo ako.

Saan mo ba balak sis? I inquired in Vietnam for peace recently, they sent me an application form. Magkano ba ang budget mo? Usually kasi, accommodation at food lang ang included sa volunteer fee. wala pa doon yung airfare. Pero gusto ko talaga, kahit pa English teaching. Wala naman kasi akong bacground sa medical. Plano ko kasi sis, magshift ng career, gusto ko mag ESL teacher, so I need to get experience by volunteering abroad. Sa I-to-i, marami volunteers na pwede.

Hi GTalkers,

We are going to climb Pico de Loro (Ternate Cavite/Nasugbu) this weekend. We don’t have a complete itinerary yet but we would like to announce it earlier, maybe some of you would like to join. Most probably, the total expense is 400.00+ pesos only excluding food. We are going to leave Manila at exactly 8AM of June 15, 2013, and then we are going to descend from the mountain around 8-9AM of June 16, 2013. This is not a difficult climb and good for beginners or just curious hikers. But compared to other minor climbs or mountains, there is no restroom in the base camp of Pico de Loro. You need to make your own strategy whenever you hear the call of nature Before going back to Manila, we could wash ourselves in paid shower rooms located at the foot of the mountain.  So far, there are already four of us, 2 females and 2 males including me.  For the food, we could just buy something to cook from the market, I think 100 pesos is already enough.
