How's the weather in Tagaytay? Will head there tomorrow.

Just got back from an impromptu overnight at Tagaytay. Walang kaplano plano. Good thing Keni Po's villa was still available when I inquired.

It was my first time at Keni Po and I was happy with their service, even yung mga kasama ko. My contact, Mon was very accommodating and helpful during the time na nagpapareserve ako ng villa. We got the villa for 3.5K good for 6pax already. Ammenities include 1 bedroom on the first floor with double bed and tv inside, 2double beds (1 is pull-out) on the attic, with tv and electric fan, small sala with tv (again!) and stand fan, dining area, kitchen equipped with gas stove, ref and utensils, very clean cr with h/c shower. I love their beds, super comfy at bango. Siguro pinaka negative ko na lang masasabi is their lone aircon (splitter type) na nasa loob ng bedroom sa ibaba (but hey! This is Tagaytay, who needs aircon anyway?) and medyo mahina ang signal sa cp (including wifi) inside the house. But super bilis naman sa garden and pool area. Their pool is small but super linis din.

The staff are very courteous, lagi nakasmile and greet, mabilis pa sa mga additional requests namin. Over all, I would highly recommend Keni Po for those looking for budget accommodation in Tagaytay.

Just got back from two-days trip on Tagaytay. Chilly weather. Taal Volcano not really visible because of the fog.

Purchased a voucher online for an overnight stay at Hotel Dominique. We head to the hotel to leave our backpacks first since we have to visit some places before checking in. The Front Office staff was very welcoming and pleasant to accommodate our request.

Check-in process was quick. FO staff requested for P500 for the key card which was refundable. One of their staff carried our things and assisted us to our room. Eventhough it's near the highway, the whole place was peaceful and relaxing.

Comfortable room and cozy ambiance. Has a veranda overlooking the other side of the hotel premise (cabanas, casitas, etc.) Some of the amenities inside the room were cable TV (not flat screen), aircon, mini-ref, SDB, coffee cups, water kettle, drinking glasses and condiments tray. Bathroom was ok but needs improvement.

We had Filipino Breakfast via Room Service and it's delicious. We requested for complimentary bottled water and it was given to us immediately.

No water coming out of the shower around 11:30 AM (while we were preparing for check-out) so I had to call the Housekeeping regarding it. Problem rectified after 10 minutes.

Overall, I can say this hotel is commendable when it comes to their staff and service.

Ina ng Laging Saklolo Parish Church
Picnic Grove - P50 entrance ticket is not worth it. We just bought Tshirts instead.

Dining Experience:
Lunch @ Josephine's Restaurant - Food ok. Service was bad. Staff weren't welcoming and attentive. Ambiance and view great.
Dinner @ The Grill by Antonio's - Food's good specially their Chicken Inasal. Service also good. Ambiance average.

just got back from tagaytay too. Stayed at discovery country suites. wala akong mareklamo sa overall stay namin. super satisfied.


^^^ yup! sarap talaga ng tarts nila. bought yung assorted tarts nila and the blueberry cheese tarts. grabe ambilis maubos sa bahay. sabi nila masarap daw talaga. will definitely buy again in 2 weeks. sa t-house naman kami ngstay coz we are bringing our dogs. yay!

Sisses, on sale ang Taal Vista until today in Philippine Travel Mart Expo at SMX. Bought GC for a superior mountain wing for only P3,700. Validity is for one year. Other rooms on sale are deluxe mountain wing (P4,000), premier mountain wing (P4,300), deluxe lake wing (P4,000), and premier lake wing (P4,600). All room are inclusive of breakfast for 2 . Natuwa kasi si hubby last month sa Taal Vista. Third time na namin sa Tagaytay and this is our third hotel pero eto lang yung gusto nya balikan uli (agad2x), hehe.

okay ba yung pagkakasunod sunod? wala kasi kaming sasakyan eh. magdadagdag-bawas nalang siguro ako, if ever.

and any suggestions ng murang hotel for barkada of 4+? thanks!

PS: Sino na nakapagtry sa D-Zone Backpackers Inn? may promo kasi sa metrodeal eh. and di naman kasi namin habol yung bonggang hotel since susulitin namin ang gala ng 2 days.

sis, napansin ko lang yung sinabi mo na wala kayong sasakyan.

just to guide you lang on your itinerary.

1. ang bag of beans or mushroomburger, along the highway. going to batangas, ang mushroomburger nasa left mo, ang bag of beans, nasa right.
2. skyranch, along the highway din, nasa left mo going to batangas.
3. sonya's garden, papasok ito. may makikita ka namang wooden signage niya. pero kapag walang sasakyan, baka mahirapan kayo. nasa right mo siya kapag papunta batangas.
4. Caleruega naman, batangas na siya. papasok din ito. if you know chateau royale (right side), there's a hill fronting chateau on your left going to chapel on the hill, evercrest (before pero el patio na ata now under asiatrust). medyo rough road yung dadaanan sis. kaloob looban din. you will pay entrance fee. P30 ata.
5. picnic groove is at the other side of tagaytay.

^sis, super laking issue ba na wala kaming sasakyan? hays. balak kasi namin tipong "city tour". possible ba yun? wala kami sasakyan eh, so kung may marerent/nagpaparent na van, okay kami dun. basta siguro hindi buong van. tipong may kasama kaming nagtotour.

plus gusto namin yung trekking sa taal lake. okay pa ba pumunta doon?

medyo mahirap kasi if you commute from one destination to another for example yung sonya's garden papasok siya and medyo long walk siya. mushroom burger and the rest ok lang. yung picnic grove naman other side and mahal trike sa tagaytay.

Korek si sis anniegurl may mga place from one point to one point na mahirap puntahan kapag walang sasakyan.

AWWW. nakakalungkot naman. balak pa naman namin mag-ala city tour. anyway, baka may maisusuggest kayong iti for us na walang sasakyan? 2days/1night lang kami and goal naming makapag-taal trekking.

^okay na okay ang trekking sa Taal maalikabok lang kaya better wear mask.  Yung Sonya's Garden kung sasakay kayo ng fx sa buendia to batangas pwede kayo bumaba sa Sonya's Garden before kayo pumunta sa hotel ninyo.

^sis, diretso na ba kami agad sa may taal? or dapat kumuha muna kami ng package? waaa. may nababasa kasi ako sa mga blog na kapag "walk-in" mas napapamahal. waaa. noted na yung about sa sonya's. libutan lang ba yun?

^^ I have tried pools at Discovery Camp (beside Picnic Grove) and the one at Keni Po. For me the cleanest one is in Keni Po. Malinis, di amoy chlorine at super linaw. Kaya niya makipagsabayan with other pools sa ibang lugar. IMO lang naman coz I haven't tried yung mga pools ng ibang BB within Tagaytay.
