mama squeak, super love the food there! We ate there last year when my fiance and I celebrated our anniversary. Hindi lang afford ang overnight accommodation kasi mahal. Hehe.

If you're in Tagaytay, you might want to try Marcia Adams. It's a restaurant na ang ambiance is Tuscany. Super love the place and the food. Expect to pay around 750 pesos per head for a three course meal. Super sulit! I recommend the following:

appetizer- amalfari prawns
main course- chicken kebab
dessert- banana split (very unique version!)

How's the accommodation sa Discovery Country Suites? Dream ko mag-stay dyan. My fiance and I will spend our anniversary sa T House this June. Sana maganda..

We're staying at their Oxford Suite. Ganda and huge! It has its own balcony facing Taal. Room rates include breakfast na and evening cocktails. Timing nga kasi every Wednesday their food is half off in celebration of their 8th year anniversary. I don't know lang until when yung promo nila na yun. Service is great, very courteous staff. One thing lang ang medyo off sa kin is the street noise. Dinig na dinig mo yung mga sasakyan sa labas probably because of the location of our room na street level. I'm sure the rooms in the basement/garden level medyo tahimik.

Hubby and I stayed at THouse when they were new pa lang. We stayed at their Serenity Balcony Suite. I don't know how it is now but back then maganda and tahimik yung lugar. Lots of trees. Nice to walk around at night but medyo maliit nga lang but okay na rin. Nice, clean rooms. They use Ilog Maria products. Dun ko nadiskubre yung Ilog Maria. Their food is very good too but mas masarap pa rin sa Discovery. The staff are great. Their spa was so-so lang, ewan ko lang now ha kung nag-improve na sila. Enjoy your stay!

@mkga, sis thank you so much for recommending Marcia Adams! Hubby and I enjoyed our lunch so much. Ang ganda ng place nya and sarap their food. Affordable pa! I ordered your reco na Amalfi Prawns and banana split   For the main entree, I had the grilled pork (sarap!) while hubby had the soup, beef stew and fried banana with chocolate dip. Sayang lang they didn't have their ginger beer so we settled for their lemon-lime bitters which were also good.

We even met the charming owner, Neil Adams. Such an engaging guy hinatid pa kami sa parking lot after our lunch. Balak namin bumalik dun when my siblings come home for our reunion.

mama squeak, super happy ako na nagustuhan nyo! I recommend Marcia Adams to our friends lagi and lahat sila tuwang-tuwa sa food at ambiance. Yes, we met the owners too. Super hands-on sila sa business nila and talagang kinakausap nila ang mga diners. The first time we went there pinakita pa ni Neil sa amin yung furnitures na ginagawa sa backyard nila.

Sarap ng food at ang porkchops nila as in malaki ang cut. Pwede siya for sharing. Hehe. At yung banana split panalo talaga!

Babalik at babalik talaga for that place.

For those who are looking for a place to stay in Tagaytay if you're going in a group, let me recommend Pina Colina. My teammates and I stayed there one weekend and we loved the place. We booked a two-storey log cabin (well, deceiving lang kasi mukha lang palang log pero concrete siya) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one on the first floor and the other on the second floor). The bedroom on the first floor has two bunk beds so that makes it 4 beds for 4 persons. The second floor has two bedrooms- one with a queen-sized bed and the other room with two-queen sized beds. Our villa costs 9,300 for an overnight stay. Non-airconditioned villa ang kinuha namin since malamig naman sa Tagaytay. 10 persons kami noon kaya 930 per person. Sulit na rin kasi maganda ang accommodation. The villa also has a living room sa baba at another one sa taas where we stayed during the night to watch tv and bond. There is also a kitchen, dining area and refrigerator.

Malinis yung buong villa at maganda ang beds nila hindi cheap. They also provide bath towels upon request. The bathrooms are huge! Malinis din at well-maintained.

Hindi siya along the highway which is good dahil hindi maingay pero yun lang we need to bring a vehicle kapag kakain na pero ok lang kasi ang sarap ng hangin dahil nasa tabi siya ng pineapple plantation.

They also have smaller villas. Madali silang kausap at mabilis ang process nila ng reservation.

^I haven't stayed at Lee Boutique but have stayed at The Theodore. I liked the The Theodore, small, intimate and romantic. Ganda pa their interiors. If I remember right parang 7 lang yung rooms nila kaya hindi magulo. We stayed at their suite with a nice view of the lake. Their breakfast (included in the room rate) was also good. Magkatabi lang sila ng The Boutique and Pamana restaurant so in case you want to find somewhere else to eat within walking distance both places are nearby lang.

hmm mama squeak mukha ngang mas maganda ang Theodore tyaka wala pa ako nababasang negative feedback sa about the hotel, mura na ba yung 3500 na deal sa superior room nila plus breakfast for 2? mag 2 nights stay sana kami.

But be sure to also check any restrictions sa booking directly with the hotel since you are buying at a group buying site.

ang hubby ko since taga amadeo cavite talaga sila, lagi kami punta tagaytay. in 30mins to 1 hour nandun na kami. nakapunta na kami sa people's park in the sky, picnic grove, at ang sarap magmotor don maraming restaurants, hotels, magkakatabi lang. taagaytay highlands... summit ridge tagaytay.... bulalo sa tagaytay the best! yun sa wet market don, dun kami buy ng mga beef, sure organic talaga & grass fed. sa december punta kami sa sky ranch.

Hi mga sis, do you know any room for rent na super cheap lang at may parking. We will be going to punta fuego kasi. Ang plan sana is to travel after dinner to tagaytay. Then by 6am check out na din then travel to punta fuego. Para hindi long drive and makapahinga pa ako at night.

anniegurl, request for a non-connecting room. When we stayed at One Tagaytay they gave us a connecting room at dinig na dinig ang pag-uusap at sigawan sa kabilang room. May kids sa other room and when they were playing they kept banging on the door kaya nakaka-bother.

But the breakfast buffet is good sa One Tagaytay!

confirmed my booking already with the theodore hotel, excited for next month para sa anniversary namin ni hubby..moorish room pala yung binook ko..it has 1 king bed tyaka malaki daw yung daybed according kay jennifer =) though the downside is sa may roadside ata sya..pero okay naman siguro yun..sana nga =)
