Legend of the Guardians - pwede bang 10.5/10? feel na feel ko bawat paglipad ng mga owls at owlets! binalak ko na din magalaga ng owls dahil dito! kaso sabi ni B, creepy daw sila sa totoong buhay! LOL! included na ito sa mga favorites ko! hopefully magka-part2! and i wont miss it for sure!

The Conjuring 9/10- I was expecting na may panakot pa sa end credit like any other horror film pero wala. It was a nice movie though...not boring, pero para sakin mas nakakatakot pa din ang Insidious, mas madami kasing gulat scenes don... Watched it with my hubs and enjoy din naman sya. By the way may ginagawa na palang sequel tong movie na to. Will definitely watch the part 2!

Just got home from watching Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.

I Had Been Deciding Between: Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, Red 2, and The Internship

What Made Me Watch This: The price. Less than a hundred bucks. And I miss the classic animes of yesterday.

Classic superhero anime, and pretty much canon with the original story line. It was 95% done in 2D, and 5% in 3D, which is probably the only thing I disliked (just a bit) since I wanted the good old-fashion anime without the unnecessary fancy effects.

I was actually hesitating to watch it because although I watched Dragon Ball on TV during my younger days and know all the songs and lyrics by heart until now (My sister was even appalled when she heard me singing along with the theme song played in the film itself), I'm afraid I'm not a close follower of the anime series, and I wasn't able to watch all the episodes of the first season up to Z. I was scared I would feel completely lost in the movie as I'm not quite sure if I can depend on my memory of a series of more than a decade ago. And not to mention, the last anime I saw on the big screen (Hunter x Hunter: The Phantom Rogue) left me feeling utterly disappointed, traumatized and suicidal to say the least.

I'm just curious as to why Kuririn wasn't there in the movie (I know he was killed by Freeza back then but he came back as a ghost with a halo anyway and even had a relationship and a kid with Android 18). Vegeta reminds me so much of Draco Malfoy (So cute!), while Piccolo is so similar to Severus Snape (Can't help myself; I have just been reading loads of Harry Potter fan fictions for a week now). Bulma, my favorite character, is adorable as always. I love the fact that for once, Vegeta managed to be stronger than Son Goku for a few precious seconds because of his deep, strong love for Bulma  although he'd never admit it out loud (I've been rooting for them ever since the first season). The antagonist, Bill - the God of Destruction, was highly amusing and refreshing. As for the ending, it was just a bit confusing but perfect in every way, and it made way for more possible sequels to arise.

Needless to say, I went inside the movie theatre with little or no expectation at all, and left the cinema thoroughly pleased and surprised with the film.

Rating: 9.5/10
Recommend? Highly recommend!
Would I watch it again? Definitely!
