The only good parts are in the trailer lol. Still nice to see lux brands in a movie all at the same time, but  it was not worth my $12 movie ticket. lol

World War Z -- 8/10 -- napaka-mixed ng reviews so i decided to see for myself. actually naaliw ako sa pagka-zombie ng mga zombies, lalo yung nasa v-139. and i can't handle too much gory stuff anyway so it worked for me.

9/10 - 4 sisters and a wedding. galing ni bea umarte. nakakatawa at nakakaiyak din.

9/10 - monsters university. fan ako ng movie ng naunang movie kaya gusto ko talagang panoorin ito. napangiti ako nung pinakita kung paano tumaas ng tumaas ang position nila mike at sulivan sa monsters inc.

Man of Steel - 7/10

I loved how Henry Cavill portrayed the role, I think he did it very well. The story was nice too and I liked that it had the same vibe as The Dark Knight. I like my superhero movies to be a bit on the serious, heavy side. I didnt get that feeling with Superman Returns.

What I didnt like was Lois Lane. I love Amy Adams but for goodness sake, couldnt they have gotten a younger/fresher actress to portray the character? They obviously don't have onscreen chemistry and i was so distracted by Amy's heavy eyebags, seriously. I was also almost expecting her to sing songs from Enchanted. I also found the effects a little bit too much towards the end. It was almost too draining to watch.

White House Down -- 6/10 -- Channing does a Die Hard. Jamie Foxx as president really doesn't work for me. Saving grace had been Maggie Gyllenhaal and the little girl. I liked Olympus Has Fallen more.

The Ring Bling

I can't fully comprehend why but I very much loved it! (Maybe because I was so dazzled by the bling and the fame whores).

I Had Been Deciding Between: White House Down, and The Ring Bling

What Made Me Watch This: High-end luxury brands. Emma Watson. Celebrities robbed in their homes by mere teenagers. Based on real people and real events.

Pros: Despite being newcomers, most of the Ring Bling members were convincing in their roles, and delivered really well. Katie Chang, who plays the ringleader Rebecca Lee, is so mesmerizing, and is extremely well-dressed. Emma Watson nailed the role as the slutty bombshell, and she got the accent spot-on! The plot is extremely interesting, and it's really nice to get into the minds of those fame-obsessed teenagers. Even though there's no resolution, it simply mirrors the reality in today's youth. The film didn't side with any party which is a good thing.

Cons: It felt a bit short. I would've wanted to see more of their heists, and how they interacted in school, and with the rest of their schoolmates. The film also showed too much drugs, which quite bothered me a lot, and while I was highly impressed by Katie Chang's wardrobe, Emma's seemed lacking. The interview segments also seemed sporadic throughout the film. I would've wanted the interviews themselves to frame the plot. I was also bothered by the focus of the film. First, Marc was the center of the plot, then it moved to his budding relationship with ringleader Rebecca, then it suddenly jumped to (and ended with) Nicki, which was less interesting than Marc and Rebecca's. I would've wanted to see more of Marc and Rebecca, and the aftermath of the burglaries.

Rating: 9/10!

Despicable Me 2 9/10 - light hearted movie. not much plot to it, it's the kind of movie you go in, not over analyze and enjoy. Minions were hilarious as usual. Worth the 2 hour line and worth the premiere tix price.

- A feel good romantic movie, based on nicholas sparks novel, with a little twist sa ending. I love it, pati ost ang ganda
