Flouride

My daughter is 2years old. How much flouride should i give? I have read flouride is needed for teeth especially on kids who have teeth still coming out. i dont use toothpaste with flouride since she doesnt spit while brushing. any advice? thanks!

^I think you need to start teaching her to spit when she brushes your teeth para you can start using a toothpaste with fluoride. I wouldnt recommend giving just fluoride on your own sis, baka may harmful effects eh. Kelangan din kase nya yan i-spit, based on my experience with my 2 year old daughter when we brought her to the pedia dentist 3 weeks ago.

May binibigay ang pedia na prescription sa flouride. Ask mo yung pedia mo.

Thank you for the replies and suggestions. Gusto ko kasi talaga alagaan teeth ng baby girl ko kasi common sa mga bata yung nasisiraan ng ipin di ba. since di pa gaano katibay mga milk teeth.

I remember my nephew when he was 2 years old, napilitan pa extract mga nasirang front teeth. pina sedate pa sya kasi nga toddler pa lang nga just for extraction. so he has to wait for the permament teeth to come out. which is 5years of waiting. meron pinalagay na temporary teeth kaya lang di talaga maganda. buti na lang boy siya.

Hi! Share ko lang, yung baby ko is 1 year 20 months, hindi pa rin siya marunong magspit pag nagtoothbrush, so ang suggestion ng pedia nya is to use washclothe para magamitan na sya ng toothpaste with flouride and then same thing pag parang magmumumog, washclothe pa rin gamit ko, then pag sure na ko na wala ng naturang toothpaste sa teeth nya, dun ko na sya gamitan ng toothbrush, (his using the automatic one)... It works naman with my son, ang ganda ng teeth nya. And unti unti na din sya natututo magspit...

If you research flouride, it is harmful to your health, some amount can be fatal, we don't use toothpaste with flouride, so far he's 13 yo now and no sign of cavity or anything...google it and research, dito sa US most states used flouride tap water, kasi nga sa standard knowledge na to strengthen teeth but not, there's hidden truth behind all these....

if she can't spit yet, please don't giver her any flourise yet. you can use flouride free toothpaste for kids like tom's of maine

kinabahan naman ako bigla dito. my daughter uses happee kid toothpaste and she won't spit the bubbles as well.
