called the ewb customer service kanina to waive my annual fee. ayaw i-waive ng customer service unless mag signed up ako sa insta-cash ek ek.. ano pa ba ibang ways para ma waive ko ang annual fee?

^Call again and ask how's the process of transferring your CC balance to your other CC that doesn't charge annual fee LOL. Tell them you want to cancel because you don't want to pay Annual fee, I'm pretty sure they will give  you options.

hi sis lizette, i wanna waived my annual fee also with eastwest so i called them and told them na i wanna cancel my card, (im a good payer also and never fails to pay my dues on time). so they transfer the call to accounting department. and the girl na kausap ko doon sa accounting dept told me na they will waived my annual fee 100% if mag eenroll daw ako doon sa utility payment ba yun like meralco, skycable and so on? i have one month to decide daw. Actually di ko siya talaga masyadong naintindihan pero yun ang inoffer niya sakin. Inofferan ka din ba nun? pano ba gagawin ko ? hehe

I got my credit card last May 16, until now di pa din activated un card. ganun ba tlaga katagal ma activate ang CC???

Naku sis sorry for the late response now ko lang naopen to thread ng easrwest ulit hehe..dont enroll any utility kase baka in [textspeak!] na gusto mo mag cancel ng card..isa pa yun sa hassle..inoferan din ako nun..sabe ko wala ba iba option..if wala kakancel ko na talaga..ayun tinawagan ulit ako..and offer na mag purchase lang ako ng 2000 hehe waived na daw..ganun na lang din gawin mo or pede din na ikaw na mismo mag suggest ng ganun..pero for sure pag sinabe mo icancel mo..tatawagan ka yan ulit haha

I have also an EWB CC. Medyo ingat lang po sa EWB CC kasi, minsan ina-allow ng system nila na magpush through ang transaction kahit na lampas na sa credit limit and they will charge you P500 kahit na Less than P50 lang ang over sa credit limit.

Dapat daw before gamitin, i check muna ang balance para di mag over sa credit limit.  What if nasa mall ka na at magbabayad, gagamitin mo pa celfon or hahanap pa ng payphone para malaman if ok pa balance?  I've been using ibang CCs for years pero wala pang instance na kapag over na sa credit limit ay tutuloy pa rin kaya sobrang inis ko noon to think na mas malaki pa ang fee kesa sa over sa credit limit

Dumating na kahapon yung EW Practical Card ko kaya naman pala wala akong narereceive sa bahay e dito sa office naka-address. June 10 pa nasa courier kahapon lang dumating. At ang masaklap pa pag-open ko ng envelope dyaraaaan! 20k lang ang credit limit! hahaha! Naloka ako! Ang sinabi nila same sa credit limit ng amex, citibank at metrobank ko. Iniisip ko tuloy kung gagamitin ko pa kasi nagpadagdag na ako ng Megalifestyle Card sa Citibank dahil akala ko hindi na darating itong EW. Pero free naman ang first year nito db? Kung free gagamitin ko muna siguro then pacut na.

Someone called me from eastwest and I was convinced to apply for the credit card because of their promo either timex watch or samsung phone. Is it true kaya mga sisses?

God Bless sa mga East West Card holders dahil napaka E**-Eng ng mga customer service and back office nila.  Isipin nyo ba naman they gave us a wrong card so pinapalitan e di ayos na after a year since may annual membership fee na pina cancel namin hindi daw pwede dahil may kapalit daw na annual membership fee yung pag switch ng card. Haist! Kung hindi ba naman .... gumawa ng request na ireverse ang fees ayun declined. Ewan ko what happened then they decided to waive it.

Mabilis lang sila kase kahit nga di ka nag aapply papadalhan ka ng CC gulat ka na lang, di ka naman nag apply pero may CC tapos sinasabi nila pre approved. Medyo dangerous ito kase what if di ka aware may card tapos iba makatanggap at gumamit. Not so safe. Auto rin pagtaas ng credit limit nila.

trying to apply via online for eastwest credit card... puro error  , gusto ko pa naman un everyday card nila kase may rebate kahit lagi sa grocery ko lang ginagamit cc card ko with BDO.
